Indoor Unit Condensate Pump Installation
This guide provides essential information for the installation of an indoor unit condensate pump.
- Use the #3 terminal wire for the float switch.
- Wire colors may vary; ensure you are wiring according to each wire's function.
Visual Aid: The accompanying image shows a condensate pump installed within an indoor unit, featuring a blue pump body and a clear hose connected to wiring.
The diagram illustrates the electrical connections for the condensate pump. It shows incoming 230V power wires permanently live connected to LINE 1. A terminal block in the evaporator has terminals labeled 1, 2, 3, and G. LINE 1 connects to terminal 1. A purple communication wire (N/C) connects from LINE 1 to terminal 2. A green ground wire connects from LINE 1 to terminal G. A wire from terminal 3 passes through a 1 AMP fuse (5 AMPS MAX) to the PUMP. A red wire labeled LINE 2 connects from the PUMP to a wire nut. A gray wire (COM) (5 AMPS MAX) connects from the wire nut to terminal G of the terminal block in the condenser. LINE 2 also connects to terminal 2 of the terminal block in the condenser, and LINE 1 connects to terminal 1 of the terminal block in the condenser.
