This document provides installation instructions for the IKEA LAGAN FRÖSLUNDA integrated dishwasher.

Installation Steps
Step 1: Attach Trim Piece
Attach the trim piece (J) to the top front edge of the dishwasher appliance. The piece slides into place.
Step 2: Prepare Countertop Adhesive Tape
Apply the adhesive tape (I) to the underside of the countertop. Measure the required length (approximately 600mm) and cut the tape. The tape is applied to create a seal.
Step 3: Position Appliance and Adjust Leveling Feet
Slide the dishwasher appliance into the cabinet opening. Ensure it is correctly aligned. Adjust the leveling feet using a screwdriver to raise or lower the appliance until it is level. Close-up views show the adjustment mechanism for the feet (UP/DOWN) and the water/drainage connections at the bottom front.
Step 4: Measure and Mark Countertop
Measure and mark the countertop for drilling. The countertop must support a weight between 2.5Kg (5.5lb) and 7.5KG (16.5lb).
Step 5: Apply Template to Countertop
Prepare the template (H) by folding it as indicated. Apply the adhesive tape (I) to the back of the template. Position the template on the underside of the countertop, aligning it with the edges and pre-marked points.
Step 6: Secure Template
Secure the template (H) to the underside of the countertop using 16 screws (A) and a Phillips head screwdriver (PH2).
Step 7: Drill Holes
Drill 16 holes into the countertop using a 2 mm (5/64") drill bit. The drilling depth should be 5mm.
Step 8: Attach Mounting Brackets
Attach the mounting brackets (D, E) to the underside of the countertop using screws (A). A diagram shows drilling a hole into a cabinet side panel and inserting a screw.
Step 9: Connect Appliance to Cabinet
Connect the appliance to the cabinet. A warning symbol indicates caution regarding electrical components. Ensure proper alignment.
Step 10: Attach Front Panel
Attach the appliance's front panel. Use screws (A) and (B) to secure it. Close-up views show the attachment points and mechanism.
Step 11: Final Positioning and Sealing
Ensure the appliance is correctly positioned within the cabinet. A 50mm clearance is indicated at the bottom front edge.
Step 12: Adjust Leveling and Connect Hoses
Adjust the appliance's leveling feet again if necessary. Connect the water supply and drainage hoses at the bottom front of the appliance. Diagrams show the connection points and adjustment directions.
Step 13: Secure Appliance to Cabinet
Secure the appliance to the cabinet using screws (C). Close-up views illustrate the locking mechanism for securing the appliance.
Step 14: Final Checks
Perform final checks on alignment and door closure. Diagrams show correct and incorrect alignment of cabinet doors.
Step 15: Attach Internal Mounting Plates
Attach internal mounting plates to the appliance using screws (A) and (B).
Step 16: Connect Internal Components
Connect internal wiring and hoses. A screwdriver is shown with symbols indicating adjustment points.
Step 17: Connect Water Supply
Connect the water supply hose to the water inlet. Ensure the water pressure is between 0.3-10 bar. Use the provided 3/4" to 1/2" adapter (F) if necessary. A warning symbol indicates the importance of proper electrical grounding.
Step 18: Connect Drainage Hose
Connect the drainage hose to the drain pipe. Ensure the hose does not exceed a maximum length of 100 cm. Secure the hose connection using the clamp (G).
