Safety Information
This furniture must be fixed to a wall. Use appropriate wall-fastening devices (not included) based on your wall material. For secure assembly, two people are recommended.
Assembly Guidelines
Minimum ceiling heights for PAX wardrobes:
- For hinged door or doorless wardrobes: 202cm (79½in) for 201cm (79in) high cabinets, or 237cm (93in) for 236cm (93in) high cabinets.
- For sliding door wardrobes: 205cm (81in) for 201cm (79in) high cabinets, or 240cm (94½in) for 236cm (93in) high cabinets.
Important: Two people are recommended for safe assembly.

Create a Wardrobe Tailored to Your Needs
Combine PAX cabinets and KOMPLEMENT interior organizers to create a wardrobe that fits your space and lifestyle. You can choose from pre-designed layouts or use the PAX planner to design your own.
Using the PAX Planner:
- Visit the IKEA website (fr.IKEA.ca) and go to the Bedroom section.
- Use the PAX planner to design your wardrobe.
- You can modify existing designs or start from scratch.
Steps to Design Your Wardrobe:
- Choose Cabinets: Measure your space to determine the maximum height and width. Consider corner modules for maximizing space.
- Choose Style: Select the color and style of your wardrobe doors from a wide selection.
- Choose Interior Organizers: Consider your daily needs. Options include pull-out shoe shelves, deep drawers for seasonal clothing, and various other organizers.
Add Finishing Touches: Enhance your wardrobe with boxes, accessories, and integrated lighting for easy visibility.
The PAX/KOMPLEMENT planner helps calculate prices and allows you to save or print your shopping list.
Useful Measurements for Planning
This guide provides suggested dimensions for various clothing types to help you plan your wardrobe:
- SKUBB boxes: 19cm (7½in)
- Coats: approximately 100cm (39¼in)
- Blouses: approximately 80cm (31½in)
- Short dresses: approximately 120cm (47¼in)
- Long garments: up to 190cm (74¾in)

- YTBERG LED Cabinet Light: Connects to an LED driver and power cord. Provides focused light.
- TVÄRDRAG LED Cabinet Light: Connects to an LED driver and power cord. Provides focused light.
Smart Solution
- ÖVERSIDAN or YTBERG Cabinet Lighting: Use with TRÅDFRI LED driver for wireless control, dimming, and smart features via the DIRIGERA gateway.
- TRÅDFRI LED Driver: For wireless control. Available in 10W and 30W versions.
- ANSLUTA Power Cord: Connects up to 10 lights or TRÅDFRI LED drivers.
- ANSLUTA Intermediate Connection Cord: Connects up to 10 TRÅDFRI LED drivers.
- RODRET Wireless Dimmer/Switch: For dimming and on/off control. Requires AAA battery (sold separately).
