1 Appearance
The VT07-B01 features a 7" LCD Touch Screen, a Microphone, and a Speaker.
On the rear, it includes a Micro TF Card Slot, a Network Interface (RJ45), and a Power Port (DC 12V).

2 Installation Set-up
2.1 Installation Environment
Ensure the device is installed in the following conditions:
- ✅ INSTALL AT INDOORS ONLY
- ❌ AVOID INSTALLATION NEAR GLASS WINDOWS
- ❌ AVOID DIRECT SUNLIGHT AND EXPOSURE
- ❌ AVOID USE OF ANY HEAT SOURCE NEAR THE DEVICE
2.2 Installation Steps
Make sure that the device is installed as per the installation instructions. Otherwise, you will bear any consequence resulting from your actions.
The device supports two installation methods: wall-mounted installation and desktop installation. Users can choose according to actual needs.
Mode 1: Wall-mounted Installation
- Find a suitable indoor installation location. The recommended installation height is 59.1 inches (1.5m), which can be adjusted as needed.
- Attach the mounting template stickers to the wall and drill holes, then fix the back plate on the wall with the wall mounting screws.
- Finally, push the device into the back plate and secure it to the back plate.
Mode 2: Desktop Installation
- Take out the device and the bracket from the box.
- Put the white bracket rubber sleeve on the bottom of the bracket.
- Finally, insert the bracket into the mounting slot behind the device.
3 Connection Diagram
The VT07-B01, Access Control Terminal, and optional IP Camera are connected through network cables to a switch. Ensure all devices are in the same network segment.
Example IP Configuration:
- VT07-B01: Default IP Address: 192.168.1.201, Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
- Access Control Terminal: IP Address: 192.168.1.130, Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
- IP Camera (Optional): Default IP Address: 192.168.1.131, Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
The diagram also shows a Door Sensor and Lock connected to the Access Control Terminal.
4 Main Menu & 5 Live Video Setting
4. Main Menu
After powering on the device, it displays the main interface with icons for Live Video, News, Call Log, Network, and Setting.
Tapping the ? icon enables "Do Not Disturb" mode, indicated by a red bar at the bottom of the screen.

Status Icons
Status Icon | Name | Description |

5.1 Outdoor Station Monitor
Access this screen via Main Menu > Live Video. It displays added outdoor stations. Position names can be customized via ⚙️ Setting > Advanced Setting > Device Manage > +Add > Position.
5.2 IPC Monitor
Access this screen via Main Menu > Live Video, then tap the ? icon on the Outdoor Station Monitor interface. It displays added IPCs. Position names can be customized.
5.3 Live Video
5.3.1 Real-time Video of Outdoor Station
Selecting an outdoor station shows its live video feed. The screen may display multiple feeds depending on the split-screen mode.
Function Descriptions for Video Feed:
- ? (Snapshot Icon): Used for manual snapshots. In 1 split screen, all windows are available. In 4 split screen, only window 1 is available.
- ? (Record Icon): Used for manual recording. Click to start/stop audio/video recording. If monitoring countdown is unlimited, recording stops based on "Maximum Video Recording Time" setting.
Split screen modes:
- Window 1: Default outdoor station monitoring screen.
- Window 2/3/4: IPC video monitoring screen bound to the outdoor station.
- Split screen mode: Tap to switch between 4 Split Screen and 1 Split Screen.
Note on Recording: In both 4 split screen and 1 split screen, only windows 1 and 2 can record.
5.3.2 Real-time Video of IPC Monitor
Selecting an IPC monitor shows its live video feed. This function supports real-time monitoring, manual capture, and manual recording, similar to the outdoor station.
6 Call Log
6.1 All Call Logs
Access the All Call list screen via Main Menu > Call Log. This screen displays a list of all incoming and outgoing calls with timestamps.
Selecting a call log entry opens the call playback screen, showing the recorded video/audio.
Call Playback Controls:

6.2 Missed Call Logs
Access the missed call list screen via Main Menu > Call Log > ? (missed call icon). This screen lists only the missed calls.
Selecting a missed call log entry opens the call playback screen, which is identical to the all call log playback.
7 News Settings
This section allows users to view video information such as call logs, manual logs, and snapshots.
Access the video information interface via Main Menu > News > ? (news/video icon).
Function Description

Call Record | Displays all received and missed call recordings, similar to the call log recording. |
Manual Record | Manually recorded footage during real-time video surveillance. |
Snap | Live video interface manually captures images. Page turning is not supported. |
8 Network Settings
Configure network settings to enable communication between the indoor station, outdoor station, and IPCs via Ethernet. Ensure all devices are on the same network segment.
Access network settings via Main Menu > Network.
8.1 Wired Network
Access the wired network setting screen via Network Setting > ? (network icon).
Wired Network Configuration:
Function | Descriptions |
---|---|
IP Type | Select between Static and DHCP. Static allows manual IP address configuration. DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) dynamically allocates IP addresses. |
IP Address | The default IP address is 192.168.1.201. It can be modified according to network availability. |
Subnet Mask | The default Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0. It can be modified according to network availability. |
DNS | The default DNS address is 0.0.0.0. It can be modified according to network availability. |
Gateway | The default Gateway address is 0.0.0.0. It can be modified according to network availability. |
Remark: A direct connection to the local area network can be used. Connecting the indoor and outdoor stations directly via network cable allows the outdoor station to preview, record, and talk normally in the indoor station.
8.2 Wireless Network
Access the Wi-Fi settings interface via Network Setting > ? (Wi-Fi icon).
Wi-Fi is enabled by default. Toggle the switch to enable or disable Wi-Fi.
Once Wi-Fi is turned on, the device searches for available networks. Select the required Wi-Fi name and input the password, then select Save.
You can click on a connected Wi-Fi to view more information, such as Encryption Mode, IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway.
9 System Settings
This section helps set system parameters to optimize the device's accessibility. Access settings via Main Menu > Setting.
9.1 Sound Settings
Used to set ringtones and call volume. Access sound settings via Setting > ? (sound icon).
Function | Descriptions |

Incoming Ring | Set ringtones for incoming calls in different styles. |
Ring Time | Sets the duration before an incoming call is automatically ended. Options: 10s, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s. |
Ring Volume | Adjusts the incoming call ringtone volume (0-100). |
Press Sound | Enables or disables touch screen key sounds. Touching the screen during a call interface will stop ringing but not interrupt the call. |
Do Not Disturb Plan | When enabled, the indoor station does not respond and does not record when the outdoor station calls. The ? icon on the main interface has higher priority and is limited to this device. |
Microphone Volume | Adjusts the indoor station input volume (0-100), which is the volume heard at the outdoor station. |
Speaker Volume | Adjusts the indoor station output volume (0-100), which is the volume heard by the indoor station. |
9.1.1 Do Not Disturb Plan
Enable the Do Not Disturb Plan via Sound Setting > ? (Do Not Disturb icon).
- Start Time: When the set time is reached, the Do Not Disturb function is automatically enabled. Outdoor station calls will not be responded to or recorded by the indoor station.
- End Time: When the set time is reached, the Do Not Disturb function is automatically disabled. Outdoor station calls will be responded to and recorded.
- Repeat Setting: Select to repeat daily or on specific days of the week.
Note:
- The end time must be later than the start time.
- Each set of times needs to be added manually. For spanning days, two sets of times may be needed.
9.2 Display Settings
Configure display options via Setting > ⚙️ (display/settings icon).

Screen Brightness | Adjusts the indoor station screen brightness (0-100). |
Standby Time | Sets the time before the screen automatically changes to a rest screen or clock screensaver. Options: 30s, 60s, 90s, 120s. |

Language Display | Selects the device language. |
9.3 Advanced Settings
Access to advanced settings requires a password. After initial entry, subsequent access within the same session does not require re-entry. If the screen is exited and re-entered, the password must be provided again.
Access advanced settings via Setting > ? (wrench/settings icon).
Select an option, enter the current password on the verification interface, and click "Sure" to proceed.
9.3.1 Modify Password
Used to set the password for entering the advanced setting interface. Navigate via Advanced Setting > Modify Password.
Enter the new password twice and click "Sure" to confirm and exit.
Note: Passwords can be up to 31 characters, including letters, numbers, and symbols.
9.3.2 Device Management
Manage connected devices via Advanced Setting > Device Manage.
9.3.2.1 Search Device
Tap the ? (Search) icon to search for all online outdoor stations and IPCs in the LAN.
9.3.2.2 Add Device
Tap the ➕ (Add) icon to add a new device.
Device Configuration Options:
Function | Descriptions |

Device Type | Set the device type (e.g., Outdoor Station, IPC). |
Position | Customize the device location. |
BindIPC1/2/3 | When the device type is set to outdoor station, you can select and bind IPCs for recording and capturing images. By default, IPC1 is bound. |
Device IP | Customize the IP address of the device. |
User Name | Enter the login user name for the camera. |
Password | Enter the login password for the camera. |
After configuration, click "Save" to exit.
9.3.2.3 Edit Device
The edit function is used to delete devices. Tap "Edit" on the Device Manage interface.
Select the device to be deleted and click "Delete".
9.3.3 Local Setting
Configure local settings via Advanced Setting > Local Setting.

Indoor Station Number | Customize the indoor station number. |
Indoor Station Position | Customize the indoor station location. |
Monitor Time | Sets the duration for monitoring. When set to unlimited, monitoring continues until manually exited. Options: 10s, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and Unlimited. |
Call Countdown | Sets the call countdown time. Options: 10s, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and Unlimited. When set to unlimited, the intercom continues until manually hung up or the outdoor station hangs up. |
Maximum Video Recording Time | Sets the maximum recording time for manual recording. Options: 5min, 10min, 15min, 20min. |
9.3.4 Time Setting
Configure time settings via Advanced Setting > Time Setting.

Time Zone | Select a time zone. |
NTP Configuration | Enable or disable NTP (Network Time Protocol) configuration. |
Server Address | Displays the default server address (asia.pool.ntp.org) when NTP is enabled. |
Adjust Time Interval(h) | Customizes the time adjustment interval (1-72 hours). |
Daylight Saving Time | Enable or disable Daylight Saving Time. If enabled, set start and end times (Month, Week, Day, Hour, Minute) and offset time (1-120 minutes). |
How to set Daylight Saving Time: For example, advance the clock by one hour at 08:00 on April 1 and set it back by one hour at 08:00 on October 1.
9.3.5 Storage Manage
Manage storage options via Advanced Setting > Storage Manage.
Function | Descriptions |
---|---|
TF Status | Indicates the status of the TF card. If normal, the device can record and capture pictures. If not inserted or connection is abnormal, recording/capture is not possible. |
Format TF | Formats the memory card. Click "Sure" to confirm. During formatting, all contents of the TF card will be deleted (including locked video). Note: Do not cancel formatting midway. |
Storage Space | Displays TF card usage (used memory/total memory). Overwrites earlier videos/captures when memory reaches ~99% (locked videos are not overwritten). |
9.3.6 Network Manage
Manage network configurations via Advanced Setting > Network Manage.
This section mirrors the Wired Network Configuration options described earlier (IP Type, IP Address, Subnet Mask, DNS, Gateway).
9.4 System Information
View device details via Setting > ℹ️ (information icon). Information includes Device Name, Model, Firmware Version, Serial Number, UID, and Version Date.
9.5 Reset Settings
Reset device settings via Setting > ? (reset icon).
Function | Descriptions |

Reboot | Restarts the device. Confirm in the pop-up box. |
Restore Default Parameters | Restores all settings to default, except network parameters and access connection device information. The device reboots. Confirm in the pop-up box. |
Factory Reset | Restores all device information to factory defaults. The device reboots. Confirm in the pop-up box. |
System Update | Checks for and installs firmware updates. Click "Detect firmware version", then "Update" if a correct version is found. The device will reboot after a successful upgrade. |
10 Make a Call
10.1 Set the Communication Address
In a Local Area Network (LAN), ensure the IP addresses of the indoor and outdoor stations are in the same network segment.
Indoor station side:
Configure IP address and Gateway via Main Menu > Network.
Outdoor station side:
Configure IP address and Gateway via Main Menu > COMM. > Ethernet.
10.2 Adding Outdoor Station
Indoor station side:
Navigate to Setting > Advanced Setting > Device Manage > +Add to add the outdoor station.
- Device Type: Set to "Outdoor Station".
- Device IP: Enter the IP address of the outdoor station.
Click "Save" to complete the setting.
10.3 Make a Call on the Device
Once the indoor station is networked, video intercom calls can be made by tapping the ? (call icon) on the video intercom device screen and entering the IP address of the indoor station.
When the indoor station receives an incoming call alert, the interface displays the caller's video feed.
Call Interface Functions:
Function | Descriptions |

? (Mute Icon) | Mutes the indoor unit's microphone. The indoor station can hear the outdoor station, but the outdoor station cannot hear the indoor station. Tap again to unmute. |
? (Hang Up Icon) | Ends the current video call. |
✅ (Answer Icon) | Answers the call, allowing both parties to talk. |
? (Unlock Icon) | Unlocks the door. When the outdoor station calls and the indoor station is not answering, clicking unlock prompts "Door is open" and stops ringing. The voice prompt "Door is open" is heard at the outdoor station, and the call is not interrupted. If the indoor station answers and then clicks unlock, the same prompt occurs, and the call is not interrupted. |
Appendix
FCC Warning
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and the user.
Eco-friendly Operation
The "eco-friendly operational period" refers to the time during which the product will not discharge any toxic or hazardous substances when used as per the manual. This period does not include batteries or other components that require periodic replacement. The battery's eco-friendly operational period is 5 years.
