This document provides instructions for the Link Tech LPS-M400 Portable Wireless Speaker.

Product Description: A portable wireless speaker designed for high-fidelity sound. It is equipped with a handle for easy carrying and comes with a microphone.

Visual Description: The speaker is black with a mesh grille and silver accents. It features a carrying handle. A gold-colored microphone with a black grip is also included.

• 1. Model button: Short press to switch functions.
• 2. Volume+: Short press to increase volume; long press for the next song.
• 3. Power button: Long press to turn on/off (approx. 3 seconds).
• 4. Battery level indicator: Displays battery status.
• 5. Wireless indicator: Indicates wireless connection status.
• 6. EQ button: Short press to change the music playing environment mode (e.g., indoor, outdoor, Karaoke).
• 7. Volume-: Short press to reduce volume; long press for the previous song.
• 8. Play/Pause button: Short press for play/pause; long press to exit wireless connect.

Bottom Panel:

• 9. Reset button: For resetting the device.
• 10. DC 5V interface: For charging the device via a DC 5V data cable.
• 11. AUX interface: For audio signal input.
• 12. USB interface: For U disk playback or charging mobile devices.
• 13. TF card interface: For TF card playback.

Button Instructions

• 1. Model button: Short press to switch functions.
• 2. Volume+: Short press increases volume; long press plays the next song.
• 3. Power button: Long press for approximately 3 seconds to turn the device on or off.
• 4. Battery level indicator: Visual indicator for battery status.
• 5. Wireless indicator: Visual indicator for wireless connection status.
• 6. EQ button: Short press to cycle through music playing environment modes (e.g., indoor, outdoor, Karaoke).
• 7. Volume-: Short press reduces volume; long press plays the previous song.
• 8. Play/Pause button: Short press to play or pause music; long press to exit wireless connection.
• 9. Reset button: Press to reset the device.
• 10. DC 5V interface: Connect a DC 5V data cable here for charging. The device defaults to charging when connected.
• 11. AUX interface: Connect an audio source here using a standard 3.5mm cable.
• 12. USB interface: Insert a U disk for playback. When connecting to mobile devices, it defaults to charging them.
• 13. TF card interface: Insert a TF card for playback.

Directions for Use

1. Device Connection:
   1. Turn on the device; it defaults to wireless mode.
   2. Turn on your wireless device, search for "Link-M400", and connect. Play music after a successful connection.
2. Compatibility: Suitable for all mobile phones equipped with wireless technology, wireless adapters, and wireless players.
3. Voice Prompts:
   • A voice prompt announces when the device is turned on or off.
   • In low-power mode, a voice prompt sounds 3 times, and the device shuts down after 15 seconds if there is no charge state.
4. Mode Switching:
   • The device enters wireless mode by default upon startup. The switching sequence is: Wireless mode → TF card mode → USB mode → AUX mode.
   • Mode selection prioritizes inserted media (post-insertion priority).

   • Other Indicators:
     • Wireless search status: White light flashes quickly (approx. 0.5 seconds/time).
     • Wireless pairing status: White light is always on.
     • Play status: White light flashes slowly (approx. 1.5 seconds/time).

Usage Notes

• The default volume is 70% when starting up.
• The device has a built-in overcharge protection circuit. It can be connected to a computer or charger for extended periods; it takes about four hours to fully charge. Actual battery playback time may vary depending on volume usage.
• The device will automatically shut down after 15 minutes of inactivity.

Troubleshooting

• Auto power off: The battery protection activates when the battery is low. Please charge the device for 5 hours before use.
• Cannot play music: Ensure the music file storage path is recognized. Save files to the root directory of the removable device.
• No sound when connected to a computer: Check for computer interface connection errors. Select the correct audio output port on your computer.
• Function keys not working correctly: Try shutting down and restarting the device.
• Machine appears abnormal: Short press the reset button to reset the device.
