IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Warnings, Cautions, and Operating Instructions

• To reduce risk of death, personal injury, or property damage from fire, electric shock, falling parts, cuts/abrasions, and other hazards, read all warnings and instructions included with and on the fixture box and all fixture labels.
• Before installing, servicing, or performing routine maintenance upon this equipment, follow these general precautions.
• Commercial installation, service and maintenance of luminaires should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician.
• For the installation: If you are unsure about the installation or maintenance of the luminaires, consult a qualified licensed electrician and check your local electrical code.
• To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects.
• Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during kit installation.

WARNING: RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRICAL SHOCK

• Turn off electrical power at fuse or circuit breaker box before wiring fixture to the power supply.
• Turn off the power when you perform any maintenance.
• Verify that supply voltage is correct by comparing it with the luminaire label information.
• All wiring connections should be capped with UL approved wire connectors.

CAUTION: RISK OF INJURY

• Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while it is on.
• Account for small parts and discard packing material, as these may be hazardous to children.
• Risk of burn. Disconnect power and allow fixture to cool before handling fixture.

NOTICES:

• Green ground screw provided in proper location. DO NOT RELOCATE.
• Use minimum 194°F supply conductors.
• Suitable for Wet Locations.

INSTALLATION PREPARATION

WARNING: TURN OFF POWER SUPPLY FROM MAIN CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE INSTALLING OR SERVICING.

GENERAL WIRING DIAGRAM

This section details the wiring connections for the LED Driver. The diagram illustrates connections to the power source (Line, Neutral, Ground) and the LED load.

Power Source Connections:

• Black wire: Connect to Line (TO SOURCE)
• White wire: Connect to Neutral (TO SOURCE)
• Green wire: Connect to Ground (TO SOURCE)

LED Driver Connections:

• Lead wires to LED Load: Blue (-) and Red (+)
• Dimming wires (if applicable): Purple (Dim+) and Pink (Dim-)
• 12V AUX wire (if applicable): Yellow (12V AUX)

Note: Per NEMA rule-change, Dim (-) control wires changed from gray to pink after Jan. 01, 2022.

Important Note for Dimming: If not connecting to an external 0-10V dimmer circuit, ensure the fixture's 0-10V pink and purple leads are capped off separately. Failure to do so may cause the fixture to perform incorrectly and void the warranty.

FIELD ADJUSTABLE WATTAGE & CCT

The end users may adjust the color temperature (CCT) and lumen output (wattage) respectively, by using the two slide switches integrated into the driver. Each switch has 3 options (left, middle, and right), with each position corresponding to 3 color temperatures (3500K, 4100K, and 5000K) and 3 wattages, which can be adjusted to the desired combination.

Adjustment Steps:

1. Switches are located on the driver.
2. Select a wattage and color temperature by sliding the respective switch left or right to the desired value.

SURFACE MOUNT INSTALLATION

WARNING: TURN OFF POWER SUPPLY FROM MAIN CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE INSTALLING OR SERVICING.

1. Mounting Bracket Installation: Locate drill holes for mounting brackets. Use hardware found in the hardware kit. Mount the bracket to the surface.
2. Secure Mounting Clips: Secure mounting clips to housing recesses by firmly pressing them into place until both sides of the clip are secured.
3. Release Latches: Release latches by pulling the top of the latch away from the housing.
4. Detach LED Tray: Without touching LED boards, detach the LED tray from the fixture.
5. Connect Power: Connect power to the driver as shown. (Flexible cord supplied by installer).
6. Wiring Verification: Follow the general wiring diagram. Make sure the power supply is disconnected before installing.
7. Reattach LED Tray: Reattach the LED tray to the fixture by reversing step 4.
8. Secure Lens: Secure the lens to the housing with the lens latches.

Note:

• Connect to power using flexible cord (SJTW 18AWG, not included) to the driver input wires.
• Use the included wet-location-rated strain relief fitting for running the flexible cord through the knockout in the fixture.
• If there are any gaps at the fixture housing after connection, be sure to seal them up with waterproofing silicone glue or sealant.
