  16. The mains plug serves as the device's disconnect; it shall remain readily operable.

Setup / Basic Operation

Setup

  1. Remove the white protective needle cover by gently pulling towards the front of the unit.
  2. Remove any packaging materials.
  3. Connect the AC power cord to a wall outlet.

It is strongly recommended to operate this product only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. To prevent interference, avoid bundling audio signal cables with the AC power cord.

Basic Operation

  1. Push the STANDBY button to turn the unit on.
  2. Select the source by pressing the PHONO/AUX/FM/BT button.
  3. Rotate the VOLUME knob to adjust the desired sound level.

Listening through RCA LINE OUT

For amplifier device listening, first reduce the volume to minimum. Insert the white and red plugs of the RCA cable into the unit, then insert the opposite end into the amplifier device. Ensure the white plug connects to the white jack and the red plug to the red jack.

Listening through Earphones/Headphones (not included)

For private listening, reduce the volume to minimum. Insert your headphones' plug into the 3.5mm jack, then adjust the volume up by turning the VOLUME knob. The internal speakers will automatically deactivate when headphones are plugged in.

Condensation Warning

When the unit is moved from a cold or warm place, or used after a sudden temperature change, water vapor may condense on the unit, preventing proper operation. In such cases, leave the unit for 1-2 hours after plugging it into an AC outlet to allow it to stabilize at the ambient temperature.

Listening to a Vinyl Record

  1. Before use, loosen the TRANSPORTATION SCREW clockwise with a coin or screwdriver. Detach the stylus guard (white plastic cover).
  2. Turn the unit ON by pressing the STANDBY button.
  3. Press the PHONO button to enter PHONO mode.
  4. Gently open the dust cover, being careful not to pinch your finger.
  5. Place the record on the turntable. Select the correct speed (33-1/3, 45, or 78 RPM). Use the included 45 RPM adapter for 45 RPM records.
  6. Gently push the CLAMPER to the right to release the TONE ARM.
  7. Raise the CUE LEVER to lift the TONE ARM off its support.
  8. Move the TONE ARM gently to the edge of the record or the starting point of a track. The turntable will begin to turn.
  9. Gently lower the TONE ARM by slowly releasing the CUE LEVER. The tone arm can also be lowered manually if the CUE LEVER has not been raised.
  10. Turn the VOLUME KNOB to adjust the volume.
  11. When playback finishes, slightly lift the tone arm using the CUE LEVER and return it to the TONE ARM holder. The rotation stops.

Important:

Listening to the FM Radio

  1. Press the FM button to enter FM mode.
  2. Tune to the desired station using the Radio Tune Knob.

In FM Mode, the "FM/ST" indicator lights up orange when the station reception is in stereo.

Adjusting for Best Reception

For FM broadcast, extend and reposition the FM antenna.

Listening to an External Audio Device (AUX Mode)

In AUX (auxiliary) mode, this unit can play audio from an external source like an iPod, MP3 Player, or Portable CD Player.

Playing via 3.5mm AUX-IN Jack on the Front of Unit:

  1. Turn the unit ON by pressing the STANDBY button.
  2. Press the AUX button to enter the AUX IN mode.
  3. Connect a 3.5mm aux-in cable (not included) into the 3.5mm AUX-IN Jack to play audio from your external source (e.g., CD player, tablet, MP3 player).

LINE-OUT Jacks on the Back of Unit:

If you are using external powered speakers, connect the unit using an RCA component cable (included). Connect the white plug to the white jack (left) and the red plug to the red jack (right).

Listening to an External Audio Device (Bluetooth Mode)

In BT (Bluetooth) mode, this unit can play music from external devices with a built-in Bluetooth feature.

Getting Connected Using Bluetooth

  1. Press the BT button to enter Bluetooth mode. The Bluetooth indicator will flash blue.
  2. Turn ON the Bluetooth function on your external device.
  3. The effective distance between your external device and this apparatus is 10 meters (33 ft.).
  4. Wait for "VTA-250B" to appear on the paired devices list of your external device and select it. In some instances, a password prompt may appear; enter "0000" and press "OK".
  5. After a few seconds, your Bluetooth connection will be successful, and the blue indicator will stay lit.
  6. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (▶️/⏸️) to begin playback.
  7. To temporarily pause playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button (▶️/⏸️) again to resume.
  8. To skip to the previous or next tracks, press the corresponding skip button (⏪ or ⏩).

Stop, fast forward, and rewind functions are only available on your external device.

How to Replace the Turntable Stylus

Replacement Needle # ITNP-S1

The stylus should last about 50 hours of normal use. Replace it when sound quality changes. Prolonged use of a worn stylus may damage records. 78 RPM records wear out the stylus more quickly.

Removing the Stylus from the Cartridge

  1. Set a screwdriver at the tip of the stylus and push down towards direction "A".
    WARNING: Applying too much force may damage or break the stylus.
  2. Pull the stylus out towards direction "B".

Installing the Stylus

  1. Hold the tip of the stylus and insert the other edge by pressing towards direction "C".
  2. Push the stylus up towards direction "D" until it locks at the tip.

Innovative Technology Electronics LLC. (IT) warrants the product to be free from "Defects" in materials under normal use for a period of "One Year" from the date of the original purchase. The Warranty is "Not" transferable. IT agrees, within the initial "90 Day" period, to repair or replace the product if it is determined to be defective at "No Charge". IT will cover the cost to repair or replace damaged "Parts" only for a total period of "One Year" from the date of the original purchase.

The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, antennas, AC cords, cabinets, headbands, ear-pads, or damage due to line power surges, connection to improper voltage supply or settings, misuse, mishandling, accident, acts of God, or attempted repair by an unauthorized service agent.

To obtain service, the purchaser MUST present an original sales receipt / proof of purchase. Please contact www.victrola.com to request an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number to return products for service or replacement. Returns without an RMA number on the package will be refused and returned to sender. Upon receipt of the returning item and our full inspection, IT may issue a replacement to the customer for the same item or one with equivalent value and features.

To return an item, supply full name, return address, phone number, item purchased, proof of purchase, and reason for return to obtain an RMA number. All returns must be in the original packaging or a reasonable substitute to prevent damage. The customer "Must" include full name, shipping address, and telephone number inside the package. No return will be shipped back to a PO Box or APO address.
