Product Overview

Front View

The front panel features a central display with a tuning dial and various controls. Key components include:

• POWER Button: Push to turn the unit ON or OFF.
• PLAY/PAUSE Button (▶️/⏸️): Press to start playback, press again to pause. (Note: This button only works in Bluetooth mode.)
• STANDBY INDICATOR: Illuminates Red when powering on.
• PHONO INDICATOR: Illuminates Green when in PHONO mode.
• AUX INDICATOR: Illuminates Red when in AUX mode.
• BLUETOOTH INDICATOR: Flashes Blue when waiting to pair; stays lit when a device is connected.
• FM INDICATOR: Illuminates Orange when the station is in stereo.
• PREVIOUS Button (⏪): Selects the previous track.
• NEXT Button (⏩): Selects the next track.
• PHONO Button: Press to enter PHONO mode.
• VOLUME KNOB: Turn to adjust volume.
• AUX Button: Press to enter AUX mode.
• 3.5mm AUX IN JACK: Connects external audio sources (e.g., iPod, MP3 Player).
• 3.5mm HEADPHONE JACK: Accepts headphone/earphone plugs for private listening. The internal speakers are automatically deactivated when headphones are plugged in.
• FM RADIO Button: Press to enter FM mode.
• RADIO TUNER KNOB: Turn to tune in an FM station.
• BT Button: Press to enter Bluetooth mode.
• STEREO SPEAKERS: Located on the front sides of the unit.

Rear View

The rear panel includes:

• FM Wire Antenna: Extend and reposition for best FM reception.
• LINE OUT Jacks: RCA auxiliary input sockets (white for left, red for right) for connecting to an amplifier device with an RCA cable.
• AC Power Cord: Connects to a wall outlet.

Parts of the Turntable

The turntable mechanism includes the following parts:

• A. Turntable: The rotating platter for records.
• B. Safety Screw (for transport): Turn clockwise with a coin or screwdriver before using the unit. Turn counterclockwise to secure the turntable when transporting the unit.
• C. Speed Selector: Choose between 33-1/3, 45, and 78 RPM speeds.
• D. Tone Arm holder: Secures the tone arm when not in use.
• E. Tone Arm: Holds the stylus. Before use, loosen the plastic tie on the tone arm and lift it up.
• F. STYLUS: The needle that reads the record groove.
• G. 45 RPM adaptor: For playing 45 RPM records with larger center holes.
• H. Cue Lever: Lifts and lowers the tone arm.

Setup / Basic Operation

Setup

1. Remove the white protective needle cover by gently pulling towards the front of the unit.
2. Remove any packaging materials.
3. Connect the AC power cord to a wall outlet.

It is strongly recommended to operate this product only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. To prevent interference, avoid bundling audio signal cables with the AC power cord.

Basic Operation

1. Push the STANDBY button to turn the unit on.
2. Select the source by pressing the PHONO/AUX/FM/BT button.
3. Rotate the VOLUME knob to adjust the desired sound level.

Listening through RCA LINE OUT

For amplifier device listening, first reduce the volume to minimum. Insert the white and red plugs of the RCA cable into the unit, then insert the opposite end into the amplifier device. Ensure the white plug connects to the white jack and the red plug to the red jack.

Listening through Earphones/Headphones (not included)

For private listening, reduce the volume to minimum. Insert your headphones' plug into the 3.5mm jack, then adjust the volume up by turning the VOLUME knob. The internal speakers will automatically deactivate when headphones are plugged in.

Condensation Warning

When the unit is moved from a cold or warm place, or used after a sudden temperature change, water vapor may condense on the unit, preventing proper operation. In such cases, leave the unit for 1-2 hours after plugging it into an AC outlet to allow it to stabilize at the ambient temperature.

Listening to a Vinyl Record

1. Before use, loosen the TRANSPORTATION SCREW clockwise with a coin or screwdriver. Detach the stylus guard (white plastic cover).
2. Turn the unit ON by pressing the STANDBY button.
3. Press the PHONO button to enter PHONO mode.
4. Gently open the dust cover, being careful not to pinch your finger.
5. Place the record on the turntable. Select the correct speed (33-1/3, 45, or 78 RPM). Use the included 45 RPM adapter for 45 RPM records.
6. Gently push the CLAMPER to the right to release the TONE ARM.
7. Raise the CUE LEVER to lift the TONE ARM off its support.
8. Move the TONE ARM gently to the edge of the record or the starting point of a track. The turntable will begin to turn.
9. Gently lower the TONE ARM by slowly releasing the CUE LEVER. The tone arm can also be lowered manually if the CUE LEVER has not been raised.
10. Turn the VOLUME KNOB to adjust the volume.
11. When playback finishes, slightly lift the tone arm using the CUE LEVER and return it to the TONE ARM holder. The rotation stops.

Important:

• Closing the top cover helps prevent dust from settling on the turntable.
• Always relock the tone arm clip before transporting the unit.
• Do not place anything on top of the turntable cover, especially while playing a record.

Listening to the FM Radio

1. Press the FM button to enter FM mode.
2. Tune to the desired station using the Radio Tune Knob.

In FM Mode, the "FM/ST" indicator lights up orange when the station reception is in stereo.

Adjusting for Best Reception

For FM broadcast, extend and reposition the FM antenna.

Listening to an External Audio Device (AUX Mode)

In AUX (auxiliary) mode, this unit can play audio from an external source like an iPod, MP3 Player, or Portable CD Player.

Playing via 3.5mm AUX-IN Jack on the Front of Unit:

1. Turn the unit ON by pressing the STANDBY button.
2. Press the AUX button to enter the AUX IN mode.
3. Connect a 3.5mm aux-in cable (not included) into the 3.5mm AUX-IN Jack to play audio from your external source (e.g., CD player, tablet, MP3 player).

LINE-OUT Jacks on the Back of Unit:

If you are using external powered speakers, connect the unit using an RCA component cable (included). Connect the white plug to the white jack (left) and the red plug to the red jack (right).

Listening to an External Audio Device (Bluetooth Mode)

In BT (Bluetooth) mode, this unit can play music from external devices with a built-in Bluetooth feature.

Getting Connected Using Bluetooth

1. Press the BT button to enter Bluetooth mode. The Bluetooth indicator will flash blue.
2. Turn ON the Bluetooth function on your external device.
3. The effective distance between your external device and this apparatus is 10 meters (33 ft.).
4. Wait for "VTA-250B" to appear on the paired devices list of your external device and select it. In some instances, a password prompt may appear; enter "0000" and press "OK".
5. After a few seconds, your Bluetooth connection will be successful, and the blue indicator will stay lit.
6. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (▶️/⏸️) to begin playback.
7. To temporarily pause playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button (▶️/⏸️) again to resume.
8. To skip to the previous or next tracks, press the corresponding skip button (⏪ or ⏩).

Stop, fast forward, and rewind functions are only available on your external device.

Maintenance / Proper Handling

Handling Vinyl Records

• Do not touch record grooves. Handle records by the edges or label with clean hands. Touching the record surface degrades quality.
• To clean a record, use a soft anti-static cloth to gently wipe the surface.
• Keep records in their protective sleeves when not in use.
• Always store records upright on their edges.
• Avoid placing records in direct sunlight, near heat sources (radiators, stoves), or in locations subject to vibration, excessive dust, heat, cold, or moisture.

General Care

• When removing the power plug, pull directly on the plug, never the cord.
• Do not touch the laser pickup; close the disc tray when not in use.
• Do not use chemical solvents for cleaning, as they may damage the finish. Use only a clean, dry cloth.
• To completely shut off power, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Unplug the unit if it will not be used for an extended period.

How to Replace the Turntable Stylus

Replacement Needle # ITNP-S1

The stylus should last about 50 hours of normal use. Replace it when sound quality changes. Prolonged use of a worn stylus may damage records. 78 RPM records wear out the stylus more quickly.

Removing the Stylus from the Cartridge

1. Set a screwdriver at the tip of the stylus and push down towards direction "A".
   WARNING: Applying too much force may damage or break the stylus.
2. Pull the stylus out towards direction "B".

Installing the Stylus

1. Hold the tip of the stylus and insert the other edge by pressing towards direction "C".
2. Push the stylus up towards direction "D" until it locks at the tip.

Caution:

• Do not remove or bend the stylus needle.
• Do not touch the needle to avoid injury.
• Turn off the unit's power before replacing the stylus.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Innovative Technology Electronics LLC. (IT) warrants the product to be free from "Defects" in materials under normal use for a period of "One Year" from the date of the original purchase. The Warranty is "Not" transferable. IT agrees, within the initial "90 Day" period, to repair or replace the product if it is determined to be defective at "No Charge". IT will cover the cost to repair or replace damaged "Parts" only for a total period of "One Year" from the date of the original purchase.

The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, antennas, AC cords, cabinets, headbands, ear-pads, or damage due to line power surges, connection to improper voltage supply or settings, misuse, mishandling, accident, acts of God, or attempted repair by an unauthorized service agent.

To obtain service, the purchaser MUST present an original sales receipt / proof of purchase. Please contact www.victrola.com to request an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number to return products for service or replacement. Returns without an RMA number on the package will be refused and returned to sender. Upon receipt of the returning item and our full inspection, IT may issue a replacement to the customer for the same item or one with equivalent value and features.

To return an item, supply full name, return address, phone number, item purchased, proof of purchase, and reason for return to obtain an RMA number. All returns must be in the original packaging or a reasonable substitute to prevent damage. The customer "Must" include full name, shipping address, and telephone number inside the package. No return will be shipped back to a PO Box or APO address.
