Diagram Description: The installation diagram illustrates the mounting process. It shows three steps: Step 1 involves marking and drilling holes on a wall. Hole A (5mm diameter) and Hole C (5mm diameter) are for mounting screws, spaced 70mm apart. Hole B (10mm diameter) is for the cable. The diagram also indicates the reader's depth of 35mm.
4. Wiring
Color | Function | Notes |
---|---|---|
Red | Power | +DC (9-24V DC) |
Black | GND | Ground |

Wiring Diagram Description: The wiring diagram details the connections for the reader. It lists wire colors (Red, Black, Green, White, Blue, Brown, Yellow) and their corresponding functions (Power, GND, D0, D1, LED1, LED2, Buzzer) and notes (e.g., +DC (9-24V DC), Ground, Data 0, Data 1, Red LED Light Control, Green LED Light Control, Buzzer Control). It also shows the terminal connections on an EC-A2 interface (L1, L0, LD1, LD2, BUZ, GND, 12V) and specifies a maximum cable length of up to 50m.
5. Function Table
Scenario | Description |
---|---|
Read Card | The LED light will turn into Green, and the buzzer sounds a beep. At the same time, the reader outputs the Wiegand signal. |
External LED Control | When the input voltage for LED is low, the LED will turn into Green or Red. |
External Buzzer Control | When the input voltage for Buzzer is low, the Buzzer will sound. |
Wiegand Data Output | This device has locked-down software to allow it to communicate with the EC-A2. |
