Installation Steps
Step 1: Prepare Riser and Seal
Description: A blue riser is shown being inserted into a brass grommet. The riser is labeled "RISER" and the grommet is labeled "GROMMET".
Instructions: PRE-INSTALL RISER INTO SEAL. INSERT THE SMALLER END OF THE RISER IN THROUGH THE TOP OF THE SEAL. SEAT THE RISER FULLY THROUGH THE SEAL.
Step 2: Install Riser and Seal into Valve Cover
Description: An aluminum OEM valve cover is shown. A riser and seal assembly (brass grommet with blue riser) is being inserted into a port on the valve cover.
Instructions: INSTALL RISER AND SEAL INTO VALVE COVER. SEAL SHOULD ENGAGE FULLY THROUGH VALVE COVER.
Step 3: Position Valve Cover
Description: The aluminum valve cover, with the grommets and risers installed, is shown being lowered onto an engine block. Black lines indicate the alignment of the valve cover ports with the engine block.
Step 4: Install Bolts and Washers
Description: The valve cover is now seated on the engine block. Green bolts labeled "M6 - 70 BOLT" and "M6 WASHER" are shown being screwed into the engine block through the grommets.
