Important Safety Instructions

Read all instructions and keep for future reference.

1. Do not listen to headphones at high volumes for extended periods to avoid hearing damage.
2. If you experience buzzing or ringing in your ears, or hearing loss, stop using immediately and consult an ENT doctor if symptoms persist.
3. Set volume to minimum before connecting, then gradually increase to a comfortable level.
4. Never drive or ride a bike while wearing headphones. Be aware of your surroundings when using in public places.
5. Never use headphones as ear defenders.
6. If headphones heat up or audio signal is lost, disconnect immediately.
7. Do not install near heat sources.
8. Do not expose to humidity or submerge in water.
9. Clean with a dry, soft duster; do not use cleaning products with solvents.
10. Entrust repairs to a qualified professional.
11. Connect only to devices with a headphone output.
12. Only use manufacturer-recommended accessories.
13. Do not obstruct openings or insert objects.
14. Do not attempt to repair yourself.
15. Do not use in tropical climates.
16. Allow for condensation to dissipate when moving from cold to warm environments before connecting.
17. Do not make unauthorized modifications.
18. Keep away from children under 3 years of age due to suffocation risk.
19. Product contains magnetic components; consult a doctor if you have a pacemaker or implantable cardioverter-defibrillator.

Connecting the headphones:

Each cable end is labelled 'L' or 'R'. Connect to the corresponding 'L' or 'R' inputs inside the headband. Cable connectors can only be plugged in one way.

Storage:

Store headphones in the carrying case. To disconnect the cable, hold the 'grip' on the connector to unlock the security, then place in the case.

Care and Maintenance:

Clean regularly with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth. Ear cushions can be replaced if worn; contact your local Focal retailer for replacement parts. Carefully remove worn cushions and clip in new ones, ensuring the 5 pins are in place.

Important Information:

The headphones require a running-in period of several hours for optimal performance. To speed this up, play bass-heavy music for at least 24 hours at a relatively high volume to stabilize the speaker drivers.
