Buttons and Display Overview

Display: Features Battery level indicator, Time (24H format), Locked/Unlocked status, Meal number (1-4), and Portion number (1-9).

  • Recording Button [microphone-symbol]: Press and hold for 3 seconds to start recording a voice prompt (up to 10 seconds). Release after two beeps to finish.
  • Unlocked Button [unlock-symbol]: Press and hold for 3 seconds to unlock the system before programming.
  • Up Button [up-arrow]: In unlocked mode, press to increase a value. In locked mode, press and hold for 6-10 seconds; the display flashes twice, and the current time resets to 00:00.
  • Down Button [down-arrow]: In unlocked mode, press to decrease a value.
  • Setting Button [settings-gear]: Short press to confirm current settings and proceed to the next step. Press and hold for 3 seconds to set the device's current time.
  • Manual Feeding Button [food-bowl-symbol]: When unlocked, press once to dispense one portion of food. The control buttons and screen automatically lock after 30 seconds of standby.

How to Use

Assembly and Prepare for Setting

  1. Remove the food bowl from the food tank.
  2. Place the desiccant bag into the carrier located under the lid. Notes: To prevent mold growth, it is recommended to change the desiccant bag every 15 days. Remove the desiccant bag before cleaning the lid.
  3. Add dry pet food to the food tank. Notes: Do NOT use canned, wet, or moist pet food. Kibble size ranging from 2-10mm / 0.07-0.4in in diameter is recommended. Larger kibble may get stuck at the food outlet.
  4. Place the lid back on, pressing down to ensure it snaps securely into place.
  5. Install the food bowl by attaching it to the designated notches underneath the feeder base. Note: Before moving the feeder, press the bowl down to remove it from the feeder base. If there is food in the bowl, handle it gently to avoid spilling. Hold the base, not other parts, when lifting the feeder.
  6. Connect Power: Plug the 5V power adapter into a power socket and the power cable into the power jack under the feeder. Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit and install 3 alkaline D batteries (not included) for backup power. The LCD display will light up automatically, indicating the feeder is on. Notes: Batteries are not included. Ensure all parts are clean and dry before connecting power. Batteries should provide 4-5V output; the battery level icon blinks on low battery.

Program Setting

1. Set the Current Time

Press and hold the Unlocked button [unlock-symbol] for 3 seconds to unlock other buttons and the screen. The lock indicator will change.

Press and hold the Setting button [settings-gear] for 3 seconds; the hour digits will start to flash.

Use the Up/Down buttons [up-arrow]/[down-arrow] to set the hour. Press the Setting button [settings-gear] to save. The minute digits will flash. Press the Up/Down buttons [up-arrow]/[down-arrow] to set the minute, then press the Setting button [settings-gear] to save. The current time setting is complete.

Example: If the current time is 8:30 AM, first, press the Up/Down button [up-arrow]/[down-arrow] to set the hour to 08, then press the Set button [settings-gear] to save, and then press the Up/Down button [up-arrow]/[down-arrow] to set the minute to 30, press the Set button [settings-gear] to save.

2. Set the Number of Meals per Day

After the current time is set, press the Setting button [settings-gear] shortly. The word "MEAL" will appear, and the meal number will flash. Use the Up/Down buttons [up-arrow]/[down-arrow] to choose 1-4 meals per day, then press the Set button [settings-gear] to save.

Example: To set 4 meals per day, press the Up button [up-arrow] until 1234 is displayed, then press the Set button [settings-gear] to save.

3. Set the Feeding Time & Portion of Meals
Set the feeding time of the first meal:

Once the number of meals per day is set, the feeder is ready for setting the meal time and portion of the first meal. Icon 1 stays solid, the hour digits flash.

Use the Up/Down buttons [up-arrow]/[down-arrow] to set the hour. Press the Set button [settings-gear] to save. The minute digits flash. Use the Up/Down buttons [up-arrow]/[down-arrow] to set the minute. Press the Set button [settings-gear] to save.

Set the portion of the first meal:

Use the Up/Down buttons [up-arrow]/[down-arrow] to set the portion (max 9). Press the Set button [settings-gear] to save.

Repeat the steps above to set the time and portion of other meals if needed. The feeder supports up to 4 meals per day.

Important Notes:

  • A 'click' sound before dispensing food is normal.
  • A few kibbles may remain in the chute after dispensing and may fall out when the machine is moved; this does not indicate a faulty equipment.
  • Refer to the instructions on your pet food packaging for detailed feeding instructions.
  • Please double-check the current time after setting.
4. Clear All Settings

In the locked mode, press and hold the Up button [up-arrow] for 6 to 10 seconds. The display flashes twice, and the current time is 00:00, indicating the resetting is complete.

5. Record a Meal Call

1. Unlock the device first by pressing and holding the Unlock Button [unlock-symbol] for 3s. Then press and hold the Recording Button [microphone-symbol] for 3s until you hear a beep. Keep holding down the Recording Button [microphone-symbol] to record (maximum 10s).

2. Release the Recording Button [microphone-symbol] after the recording has lasted for 10s, the device will beep twice, indicating the recording has finished and saved. To change the recording, repeat the process. To check the voice you just recorded, press the Recording button [microphone-symbol] once.

Notes: The default of the meal call playback is 2 times, and the meal call plays when feeding time is up. When the device is unlocked, to delete your recording, press and hold the Recording Button [microphone-symbol] for 3s. Release immediately after a beep is heard. When 2 beeps are heard, no recording is taken.

6. Manually Feed Your Pet

Unlock the screen first (press and hold the Unlocked button [unlock-symbol] for 3s), then press the Feed button [food-bowl-symbol]; the feeder dispenses one portion of food. Note: The normal schedule and portion are not affected.

Clean and Care

It's recommended to clean the feeder regularly for the health of your pet. The washable parts are as follows: lid, food tank, stainless bowl, bowl holder.

Clean the lid, food tank, food tray

  1. Disconnect power before cleaning.
  2. Remove the lid and take out the desiccant bag in the carrier under the lid.
  3. To remove the food tray, press down the stainless steel bowl with the holder.
  4. To remove the food tank, use your thumbs to press the buckles on both sides while pushing upwards at the same time.
  5. Rinse and air dry the lid, food tank, food tray thoroughly before refitting them to the machine.

Troubleshooting

ProblemSolution
How to delete the voice recording.To delete your recording, in the unlocked state, press and hold the recording button [microphone-symbol] for 3 seconds until you hear a beep, then immediately press the recording button [microphone-symbol] again; two beeps are heard.
No display on the screen.1) Check whether the power adapter is connected to the socket. If properly connected but the problem still exists, you can install three batteries to see if the problem is solved. 2) If your feeder is only powered by batteries, make sure the batteries have enough power. 3) If the above solutions don't work, please contact our support team via email.
Kibbles don't come out.1) Suitable kibble size: 2-10mm (0.07-0.4inch); bigger kibbles could get stuck and jam the feeder. 2) Do not add moist or wet food. 3) Empty and remove the food tank, check the chute and food outlet, and remove blockages.
Press the buttons, the display lights up, but the buttons don't work.Before programming, press and hold the unlocked button [unlock-symbol] for 3 seconds to unlock the system first.
