Operation Modes
Battery Mode
- Insert 3*AAA batteries into the battery compartment. The screen will flash briefly and then dim. Press the TIME SET button to turn the screen on.
- In battery mode, pressing any button will activate the screen for approximately 10 seconds. The screen will go dark every 10 seconds.
- In battery mode, the clock cannot charge external electronic devices.
- In battery mode, the clock has all functions except for those mentioned in points 2 and 3.
AC Powered Mode
- Plug the AC adapter into an outlet; the screen will remain on at all times.
- When plugged in, the clock operates normally, even with batteries inserted.
- USB charging is supported.
- Short press the dial button ? to set 5 levels of LED display brightness: 3 levels for daytime and 2 levels for nighttime (low and full dark).
Time and Temperature Settings
12/24H Format and Temperature Switch
- Press the "12/24" button on the clock to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour modes. In 12H mode, "AM" and "PM" indicators will appear on the top left of the screen. In 24H mode, no such indicators are displayed.
- Press the "C/F" button on the rear of the clock to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature modes.
- The temperature display functions only in normal time mode. In radio mode, this area shows the radio channel.
Setting the Time
- Long press the TIME SET button ? to enter the HOUR setting. Rotate the dial ? to adjust the HOUR.
- Briefly press the TIME SET button ? again to enter the MINUTE setting. Rotate the dial ? to adjust the MINUTE.
Alarm Functions
Alarm On/Off
Briefly press the alarm icon ⏰. If "TIME" appears in the alarm time slot, the alarm is ON. If "OFF" appears, the alarm is OFF.
Setting Alarm 1 & 2
- Long press the alarm icon ⏰ to enter the HOUR setting for the alarm. The HOUR digits will blink. Rotate the dial ? to set the HOUR.
- Next, press the alarm icon ⏰ to enter the MINUTE setting. The MINUTE digits will blink. Rotate the dial ? to set the MINUTE.
- Briefly press the alarm icon ⏰ again to enter the ring tone setting. Rotate the dial ? to choose one of six alarm sounds (1. Bird Sounds, 2. Water Sounds, 3. Kanoon, 4. Spirited Away, 5. Beep Sounds, 6. Bulb Sounds) or a radio channel.
- The alarm tone volume will gradually increase. Rotate the dial ? on the rear of the clock to adjust the alarm volume.
Note:
- Alarm settings are for daily use; date, month, or year settings are not required.
- In 12H mode, pay attention to the "AM" and "PM" indicators on the top left of the screen. In 24H mode, there are no such indicators.
Setting Radio Alarms
When the radio is on, rotate the dial ? to select your preferred radio channel. Then, long press until the letters "AL" blink once on the screen. The clock will immediately save this channel as the 7th Alarm Ring Tone.
Snooze and FM Radio
Snooze Function
- When the alarm sounds, press the ⏰ button to activate the snooze function. The alarm will sound again after 10 minutes.
- To briefly stop the alarm, press any button except the snooze button. The alarm will sound again the next day with the corresponding icon (⏰ or ⏰) displayed.
- If the alarm is not stopped, the first six alarms (Water / Bird / Kanoon / Spirited Away / Beep / Buzzer) will sound for 10 minutes before silencing. The radio alarm (7th tone) is customizable. If the alarm sounds and is not stopped, it will repeat for an hour before silencing.
FM Antenna Setup
Fully extend the FM wire antenna and adjust its direction for optimal FM reception.
FM Radio Operation
- Press the ? button to activate or deactivate the FM radio. When the radio is turned on, it will resume the previous channel.
- Manual Scan: Each time batteries are inserted for the first time or power is supplied from the AC outlet, briefly press the ? button to turn on the radio. Then, rotate the dial ? to perform a manual channel search.
- Automatic Scan: Long press the ? button to enter Auto-Radio Scan mode. The FM frequency zones will change automatically to scan all channels and save all radio stations. At the end, rotate the dial ? to browse the saved channels.
Advanced Features
Radio Timing (Sleep Timer)
- When the radio is on, briefly press the TIME SET button ? to enter FM Timing mode. The display will show "00" and blink in the time slot. Rotate the dial ? to set the duration for which the radio remains on.
- Continue pressing the TIME SET button ? to confirm the duration setting. The time slot will display the duration you just set.
- After a few seconds, the display will return to normal time. The duration range is from 10 minutes to 120 minutes.
Screen Brightness Adjustment
In AC Powered Mode, short press the dial button ? to set 5 levels of LED display brightness (full, high, medium, low, and off). In battery mode, brightness cannot be adjusted. For battery energy saving, the screen lights up for approximately 10 seconds when a button is pressed, then turns dark.
Dual Charging
The unit is equipped with two USB output interfaces for charging iPods, mobile phones, and iPads. Charging range: 5V/1A-2.1A.
Headphone/Earphone Jack
Use a 3.5mm headphone or earphone to listen to your favorite stations without disturbing others nearby.
Safety and Care
- Keep the clock away from wet surfaces and dust.
- Do not place the clock in extremely hot or cold environments. The ideal temperature range is between 20 and 60 degrees Celsius (68-140 degrees Fahrenheit).
