Remote Control Button Functions

Gym Timer Main Function Introduction
- Tabata (F1 00:20, C1 00:10): Preset for 20 seconds workout, 10 seconds rest, repeating 8 times.
- FGB (F1 05:00, C1 01:00): Preset for 5 minutes workout, 1 minute rest, repeating 3 times.
- Countdown (dn MM:SS): Counts down from a target time to 00:00. Maximum time: 99:59.
- Count Up (UP MM:SS): Counts up from 00:00 to a target time. Maximum time: 99:59.
- EMOM (dn MM:SS): Counts down from a target time to 00:00 and then repeats the process. Maximum time: 99:59.
- Stopwatch (MM SS:MS): Counts up from 00:00:00 to 99:59:99.
- Custom Interval Mode (Fn MM:SS, Cn MM:SS): Allows for 9 custom interval programs (P1-P9). Each program can have up to 9 workout times (F1-F9) and 9 rest times (C1-C9), with a maximum count time of 99:59 and up to 99 rounds.
Getting Started
1. Install or Replace Backup Batteries
Remove the battery compartment cover from both the clock unit and the remote control. Insert 2 x AAA batteries (not included) into each compartment. These batteries are for maintaining time and settings during power outages; the display will be blank when running on battery power alone.
2. Plug in Power Adapter
Connect the provided power adapter to a power outlet to supply power to the timer.
Clock Operations
1. Time Set
- In Clock Mode, press the "Time Set" button to enter HOUR setting. The HOUR digits will flash. Press the [Up Arrow] or [Down Arrow] button to adjust to the correct hour.
- Press "Time Set" again to confirm and enter MINUTE setting. The MINUTE digits will flash. Press the [Up Arrow] or [Down Arrow] button to adjust to the correct minute.
- Press "Time Set" one more time to confirm and exit the normal time setting mode.
2. Normal Clock Mode
Press the "Clock" button [Clock Icon] to return to the normal clock display.
3. Exit Without Saving
Press the "EXIT" button [Exit Icon] to leave the current setting without saving changes.
4. Brightness Control
Press the [Brightness Icon] button to cycle through 5 brightness levels: Full, High, Medium, Low, and Dark.
5. 12/24H Time Format Switch
While in Clock Mode, press the "12/24H" button [12/24h Icon] to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats. An AM/PM indicator will appear when the 12-hour format is selected.
6. Volume Control
Press the "VOL -" [Vol- Icon] or "VOL +" [Vol+ Icon] buttons to adjust the volume level from 1 to 12.
7. 10S Preparation Time
Press the "10S" button [10s Icon] to enable or disable the 10-second preparation time that precedes the start of timed intervals (Tabata, FGB, Countdown, Count Up, EMOM, P1-P9). The "10S" indicator will appear on the screen when enabled.
8. Clear Function
Press the "CLEAR" button [Clear Icon] to reset data for modes like Countdown, Count Up, EMOM, and P1-P9 to zero. For example, to clear a set countdown, press "Down" [Countdown Icon], then press "CLEAR" [Clear Icon].
9. Sound On/Off
Press the [Sound Icon] button to turn sound alerts on or off. When sound is off, a [Muted Sound Icon] will appear on the screen. When sound is on, the timer provides audible prompts: three beeps in the last 3 seconds of a 10s prep time, and one beep for the end of a workout interval, followed by three beeps in the last 3 seconds of a rest interval.
Mode Operations
Tabata Mode
- Press the "Tabata" button [Tabata Icon]. The screen will display "F1 00:20".
- Press the "START" button [Start Icon] to begin.
Note: 'F' denotes workout time, 'C' denotes rest time. Tabata mode is preset for 20 seconds workout, 10 seconds rest, repeated 8 times. The screen will display "F8: 00:00" upon completion.
FGB Mode
- Press the "FGB" button [FGB Icon]. The screen will display "F1 05:00".
- Press the "START" button [Start Icon] to begin.
Note: FGB mode is preset for 5 minutes workout, 1 minute rest, repeated 3 times. The screen will display "F3: 00:00" upon completion.
Countdown (dn MM:SS)
Setting Order: [Countdown Icon] -> [Set Icon] -> Input Time with [0-9 Keys] -> [Set Icon] -> [Start Icon]
- Press the "DOWN" button [Countdown Icon] to enter countdown mode. The screen shows "dn: 00:00".
- Press the "SET" button [Set Icon] to begin setting the time. The first digit will flash.
- Use the "0-9" Number Keys [0-9 Keys] to input the desired countdown time.
- Press "SET" [Set Icon] to save the entered time.
- Press "START" [Start Icon] to begin the countdown.
Count Up (UP MM:SS)
There are two ways to use Count Up mode:
Mode 1: Simple Start
- Press the "UP" button [Count Up Icon]. The screen shows "UP: 00:00".
- Press the "START" button [Start Icon] to begin counting up.
Mode 2: Set Target Time
Setting Order: [Count Up Icon] -> [Set Icon] -> Input Time with [0-9 Keys] -> [Set Icon] -> [Start Icon]
- Press the "UP" button [Count Up Icon] to enter count-up mode.
- Press the "SET" button [Set Icon] to enter setting mode.
- Use the "0-9" Number Keys [0-9 Keys] to input the target count-up time.
- Press "SET" [Set Icon] to save the target time.
- Press "START" [Start Icon] to begin counting up to the set time.
EMOM (Loop Countdown)
EMOM mode is set similarly to Countdown mode.
Setting Order: [EMOM Icon] -> [Set Icon] -> Input Time with [0-9 Keys] -> [Set Icon] -> [Start Icon]
- Press the "EMOM" button [EMOM Icon] to enter loop countdown mode.
- Press the "SET" button [Set Icon] to enter setting mode.
- Use the "0-9" Number Keys [0-9 Keys] to input the loop countdown time.
- Press "SET" [Set Icon] to save the time.
- Press "START" [Start Icon] to begin the EMOM countdown.
Stopwatch Mode
- Press the [Stopwatch Icon] button. The screen will display "00 00:00" and a [Running Icon].
- Press the "START" button [Start Icon] to begin timing.
P1-P9 Custom Interval Setting
This timer supports 9 custom interval programs (P1-P9), all set in the same manner. The following outlines the process using P1 as an example.
1. Custom Workout and Rest Time Setting
Setting Order: [P1 Icon] -> [Set Icon] -> Input Workout Time (F1) with [0-9 Keys] -> [Set Icon] -> Cycle through C1, F2, C2... with [Up/Down Arrows] -> Input Rest/Workout Times -> [Set Icon] to Save
- Press the "P1" button [P1 Icon] to enter the P1 program. The screen shows "P1".
- Press the "SET" button [Set Icon] to enter the setting mode. The screen shows "F1 00:00", with the first digit flashing.
- Use the "0-9" Number Keys [0-9 Keys] to input the workout time for F1.
- Press the [Up Arrow] or [Down Arrow] button to switch to the next setting (e.g., C1 for rest time, then F2 for the next workout, C2 for the next rest, and so on). You can set up to 9 workout intervals and 9 rest intervals.
- Press the "SET" button [Set Icon] to save all programmed times when finished.
2. Custom Round Setting
Setting Order: [P1 Icon] -> [Cycle Icon] -> [Set Icon] -> Input Rounds with [0-9 Keys] -> [Set Icon] to Save
- Press the "P1" button [P1 Icon] (if not already in P1 mode).
- Press the "CYCLE" button [Cycle Icon]. The screen shows "C-C 00".
- Press the "SET" button [Set Icon] to enter the setting mode for rounds.
- Use the "0-9" Number Keys [0-9 Keys] to input the desired number of rounds.
- Press the "SET" button [Set Icon] to save the round count.
3. Clear Custom Interval Data
To reset the data for a custom interval program (including interval times and rounds):
- Press the "P1" button [P1 Icon] (if not already in P1 mode).
- Press the "CLEAR" button [Clear Icon] to reset the data for that program.
USB-C Function
The timer is equipped with a USB-C interface. This allows you to connect a power bank or other USB power source via the USB slot, providing a convenient way to power the device.
