Accessories Installation Diagram

This diagram illustrates the installation of the sensors on a bicycle:

Remove the Insulating Sheet

  1. Rotate the battery cover to the OPEN position using the battery cover tool, and then take off the battery cover.
  2. Remove the battery insulating sheet and install the battery cover back. Ensure the battery cover is in the OPEN position before rotating it back to close.

Testing Mode & LED Light

The BK805 features a testing mode to verify correct installation of magnets and sensors. It is recommended to run this mode each time you install the BK805.

To enter testing mode, reinstall the battery (refer to Battery Replacement section for details). The testing mode will remain active for 15 minutes after battery installation.

During testing:

The sensing positions are indicated on the main device:

Accessories Installation

  1. Install the crank magnet on the crank and fix it with two cable ties. Before determining the final position, do not fully tighten the ties. The procedure for other components is similar.
  2. Install the rubber pad onto the main sensor.
  3. Align the sensing position of the cadence sensor with the crank magnet. Install it as depicted and secure it with cable ties.
  4. Attach the spoke magnet to the bicycle spoke, aligning it with the sensing position of the speed sensor, and tighten it. This can be done on either a circular or flat spoke.
  5. Verify that the crank magnet and spoke magnet are aligned with the sensor's sensing position. The distance between the magnet and sensor should be less than 12mm. Secure the tail of the sensor using the screw wrench. (Notice: When rotating the tail, do not force it beyond its rotation range to prevent damage to the device.)
  6. Confirm the installation is successful by turning the crank and the back wheel of the bicycle. The speed LED should illuminate blue, and the cadence LED should illuminate green. Once confirmed, tighten the cable ties, trim any excess material, and secure all accessories using the rubber band.

Battery Replacement

If the device is not detected, consider replacing the battery.

  1. Rotate the battery cover to the OPEN direction to remove it.
  2. Remove the used battery and dispose of it properly according to local regulations.
  3. Install the new battery, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -). Use the battery cover tool to rotate the battery cover back to the closed position.

⚠️ To avoid danger, batteries should be kept away from children.
