Inflation and Floor Installation Procedure
- Spread the boat on a flat surface, ensuring it is free from sharp objects.
- Use the provided foot air pump to inflate the boat.
- Inflate the boat to approximately 50% capacity, but do not inflate the keel yet.
- Insert floor part No. 1 into the bow section of the boat.
- Insert floor part No. 4 into the stern section of the boat.
- Insert floor part No. 2, connecting it to part No. 1.
- Insert floor part No. 3 between parts 2 and 4.
- Secure the floor sections by connecting them with the side rails.
- Inflate the keel fully.
- Place the bench in its designated position.
- Complete the inflation of the boat and check all valves for any air leaks.
- Ensure all valves are securely closed with their covers.
Caution: Avoid using compressors or compressor pumps for inflation. Over-inflation can damage the boat, potentially opening seams, glue joints, or bursting an air chamber.
Deflation and Disassembly
- Place the boat on a flat surface, free from sharp objects.
- Unscrew the caps from the valves.
- Deflate the boat by pressing the valves.
- For complete deflation, attach the foot pump hose to the air drain port.
- Remove the side rails of the floor.
- Lift to remove floor parts 2 and 3, followed by the remaining floor sections.
- Roll up the boat neatly and store it in a dry location, away from direct sunlight.
Important Safety Notices and Information
Pressure Management:
The pressure inside the boat's chambers may increase due to rising ambient temperatures, such as when the boat is exposed to direct sunlight. Exceeding the maximum operating pressure can cause irreparable damage to the boat. If necessary, reduce the pressure by releasing air from the chambers. Regularly check the air pressure.
General Safety Guidelines:
- Handle the boat carefully, keeping it away from sharp objects.
- The boat is designed for use in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +70°C.
- Always wear certified life jackets while sailing.
- Do not operate the boat during flood conditions, as this poses a risk of drowning.
- Pay close attention to water levels, dangerous currents, and weather changes. On the sea, be mindful of tide variations.
- Battery acids, oils, and motor fuels can cause permanent damage to the boat. Handle engines and batteries with extreme caution to prevent leaks, which could lead to boat damage or sinking.
- Users must possess basic boating skills and be aware of the inherent risks associated with this sport.
- Always ensure the boat is equipped with essential accessories, such as oars and the foot pump, when sailing.
- Never operate the boat under the influence of alcohol or addictive substances, as this significantly increases the risk of drowning.
- Do not overload the boat with excessive weight or more persons than it is designed for, as this can lead to tipping and capsizing.
- Operate the boat strictly in accordance with the information provided on the boat's label. Never exceed the specified limits to prevent damage and ensure crew safety.
- Before sailing, thoroughly familiarize yourself with the water body's characteristics, potential obstacles, and currents.
- This boat is not intended for long-term mooring on the water surface.
- After use in salt water, it is essential to wash the boat thoroughly with fresh water and dry it completely, paying special attention to the valves.
- Store the boat in a dry and thoroughly cleaned condition.
- Do not use a compressor for inflation, as it may lead to over-inflation, cracking of seams, or complete destruction of the boat.
- Perform minor repairs following the instructions in the "Boat Repair" section.
- Extensive repairs should only be carried out by an authorized service center.
- The boat is designed for navigation on inland waterways and potentially at sea.
- Users must comply with all local laws, rules, ordinances, and regulations pertaining to waterway operation.
- Individuals under the age of 15 are prohibited from operating a motorized vessel.
- The boat is not designed to be towed by a motorboat, except in cases of emergency towing.
- Ensure any sharp or pointed objects inside the boat are secured to prevent damage to the air chambers.
- Distribute cargo and passengers evenly within the boat for stability.
- On large bodies of water (seas, lakes), be particularly vigilant of winds blowing from the shore and water currents, as these can pose a risk of being unable to return.
Boat Storage
It is recommended to store the boat in an inflated state to minimize stress on the material and joints. If this is not feasible, follow these instructions carefully: Thoroughly clean and dry the boat before storage. If the boat has been used in saltwater, rinse it extensively with fresh water. Use only environmentally friendly cleaning products. Consider treating the boat's surface with a specialized UV protection agent. Remove all solid sharp parts from the boat. Store the boat packed in its protective bag in a dry location, ensuring it is not loaded from above. When handling the boat, avoid dragging it on surfaces, as this can cause punctures, especially near sharp storage points or under valves. The risk of damage during handling increases at temperatures below 0°C. Protect the stored boat from rodents. The boat's surface can be negatively affected by solvents (like petrol, toluene) and synthetic oils. For long-term storage, it is advisable to inflate the boat for 24 hours periodically to prevent it from becoming permanently creased. Diligent maintenance and care will significantly extend your boat's lifespan.
Boat Repair
Minor defects can be self-repaired using the included minor repair kit:
- Identify the damaged area and prepare a patch that extends at least 3 cm beyond the damage on all sides.
- Ensure both the patch surface and the area to be glued are dry and clean.
- Clean both the patch and the damaged area with acetone.
- Apply a thin layer of adhesive to both surfaces intended for bonding.
- After the adhesive has become tacky (approximately 3-5 minutes), apply the patch to the damaged area and press firmly, preferably using a roller on a flat surface for even pressure.
- The joint will achieve its final strength after 24 hours.
- For more complex or extensive repairs, it is recommended to seek assistance from the manufacturer's service center or an authorized repair shop.
Note: Repairs involving valves, oarlock fittings, or the transom are best handled by a professional service center.
Disposal of the Product at the End of its Service Life
Dispose of the boat and its accompanying accessories as municipal waste in a landfill. Any other methods of disposal are strictly prohibited.
