Assembly Instructions
- Unpack the shelter and unfold it on the ground. Partially extend the two-piece upright poles with three-way connectors to half their height for easier handling.
- Connect the two-piece upper curved ribs and thread them through the shelter cover. Snap the rib ends into the connectors on the upright poles using the spring locks.
- Place the three-piece roof support pole onto the shelter roof, hooking it onto the provided roof hooks. Attach this pole to the middle of the front and rear curved ribs, extending it to ensure the roof cover is tightly tensioned.
- Insert the long three-piece side support poles into the three-way connectors at the ends of the sidewalls and extend them to tension the shelter cover. Attach the hooks on the shelter sides to the support poles.
- Connect and thread the three-piece curved front rib through the shelter's visor cover.
- Slide the rib onto the plastic hinge connectors located on the sides of the shelter, under the front three-way corner connector.
- Secure the visor with the short two-piece support pole with snap clips.
- Extend and secure all support poles using the MIVARDI lever locks to ensure the shelter cover is properly tensioned. These locks provide high clamping force to keep poles extended even in strong winds.
- Assemble the two-piece stands to complete the shelter structure.
- Secure the corner sections of the cover to the shelter structure using the dry zips located at the upper corners.
- Inside the shelter, attach the groundsheet using the zips around its perimeter.
- With the doors closed, anchor the shelter using pegs around its perimeter, simultaneously tensioning the cover. Extend side support poles if necessary to improve cover tension.
- It is recommended to secure the shelter using anchoring ropes threaded through the three-way connectors for increased stability.
Important Safety Information
- Never place stones or any other fire sources near the shelter walls, as this poses a fire hazard and could lead to serious injury or death.
- Do not use combustion-based products (gas stoves, heaters, or lamps) inside the enclosed shelter. Their use may cause dangerous accumulation of combustion by-products like carbon monoxide, leading to severe injury or death.
- The shelter material is not fire-resistant and can be easily damaged or destroyed by contact with open flames or other heat sources.
General Maintenance Information
- Avoid packing or storing the shelter when it is wet or dirty. Prolonged exposure to moisture can damage the waterproof layer.
- Storing a damp shelter in a warm environment for over 24 hours can lead to mould formation, stains, unpleasant odours, or loss of waterproofness. Mould and moisture damage are not covered by warranty.
- Clean and dry the shelter as soon as possible after each use.
- Handle structure pipes and tensioning poles gently to prevent damage from rough handling.
- Use a doormat to clean footwear before entering the shelter to keep the interior dry and clean, preventing wear or damage to the floor.
- UV radiation and high temperatures can cause material fading and loss of strength over time, making it prone to tearing. Damage from natural aging is not covered by warranty.
- For cleaning, set up the shelter and use a sponge with lukewarm water. For heavier soiling, a hose can be used. Never use cleaning agents, detergents, bleaching agents, or vacuum cleaners, as they can damage the waterproof layer. Allow to air dry thoroughly after cleaning.
- Prevent zipper contamination, as this can cause premature wear or damage. If zippers get dirty, rinse them with a gentle stream of water. Handle zippers carefully to prolong their lifespan and ensure proper functioning. Never use excessive force. If fabric gets caught in the zipper pull, stop pulling and slowly retract the pull until the fabric is released.
- The shelter material is highly durable and 100% waterproof (8000 mm water column), with taped and sealed seams. Over time and with intensive use, waterproofness may decrease. Using common waterproofing sprays for tents or outdoor clothing can restore this property and improve water shedding.
- Ensure good ventilation inside the shelter to reduce condensation. Condensation dripping from the ceiling is not a sign of a leak.
