About the MK18 Range
The Danfoss MK18 Range offers a comprehensive selection of time controls designed for domestic heating and hot water functions, providing unrivalled flexibility and control for any situation. With over 75 years of innovation, Danfoss has established itself as a trusted name, delivering the best in modern controls technology.
Since its founding in 1933, Danfoss has been dedicated to continuous innovation. The MK18 range embodies this commitment, offering flexibility and reliability with an elegant design. All models feature a slim, modern enclosure and a large LCD with a convenient backlight, enhancing user experience.
Employing the latest technology, these versatile heating time controls are reliable and easy to use. They are recognized by installers as a preferred choice due to their ready interchangeability with most other existing controls on the market.
A key convenience feature is the automatic real-time and date setting, performed at the factory. The correct time is displayed automatically when powered up. This time and date information is used to automatically adjust for summer and winter time changes each year, eliminating the need for user intervention and significantly reducing service call-backs.
Additionally, all products incorporate an optional installer-set service interval timer. This feature is particularly useful in tenanted properties where landlords are responsible for gas safety. It allows the service due date to be set, and the unit will remind the user 28 days before the due date, ensuring timely maintenance.
Each model can be configured by the installer during setup to offer 7-day, 24-hour, or 5-day/2-day operation. Furthermore, all models can be set to provide either two or three ON/OFF periods per day.
