The Unifying receiver allows you to connect up to six compatible Logitech mice and keyboards to the same receiver, using only one USB port for multiple devices.

Setup
- Connect the keyboard to your computer using the USB recharging cable.
- Turn on the keyboard using the power switch located on the keyboard.
- Install the Logitech Options software for enhanced functionality. Download it from: www.logitech.com/options
Keyboard Features
The K800 keyboard features several key zones:

Application Zone:
- Fn + F1: Launch Internet browser
- Fn + F2: Launch e-mail application

- Fn + F5: Decrease backlight by 25%

- Automatic light sensor (ALS): Adjusts backlight based on ambient light.
- Battery status indicator: Shows the current battery level.
- Keyboard power switch: Turns the keyboard on or off.
Recharging the Keyboard
Typically, the keyboard battery lasts about 10 days. With backlighting at 100%, it lasts about 15 hours. A full recharge takes approximately 5 hours, or 3 hours if the keyboard is switched off. Battery life may vary based on usage, backlighting level, and computing conditions.
To recharge, connect the keyboard to your computer using the provided USB recharging cable.
Troubleshooting
Keyboard not working?
- Slide the keyboard's Off/On switch to Off and then On. The keyboard's battery status indicator LEDs should light up.
- Confirm the keyboard is charged. The battery status indicator is red when the battery is low.
- Try plugging the Unifying receiver into another USB port.
- Move the Unifying receiver closer to the keyboard.
- Reconnect the keyboard and Unifying receiver using the Logitech Unifying software.
- Restart the computer.
Battery Removal Information
Follow these steps to remove the battery:
- Remove 1 screw and the battery door.
- Remove the bottom panel.
- Remove 17 screws.
- Remove the top case.
- Remove 6 screws.
- Remove the keyframe, light guide panel, and metal plate.
- Remove the tape, then disconnect the battery cables from the main circuit board, and remove the battery from the bottom case.
- Dispose of the battery and product according to local laws.
