Setup and Operation
1. Install Smartlife APP
To manage the camera, download the "Smart Life - Smart Living" application from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Register Account and Login
- Open the app and select your Country.
- Enter your mobile phone number or email address.
- Create a secure password.
- Log in to your account using your credentials.
3. Insert Micro SD Card
For video recording and playback, insert a microSD card (supports up to 128GB, sold separately) into the TF card slot.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Ensure the SD card is inserted before powering on the camera. If inserted after powering on, the card may not be read correctly.
4. Power On the Camera
Press and hold the Power Button located on the top of the camera for approximately 5 seconds to turn it on. If the camera fails to power on, connect it to a DC5V 1A/2A phone adapter for at least 15 minutes to charge the battery (power adapter is not included in the package). The indicator light should be slowly blinking red, signifying it is ready for Wi-Fi setup.
5. Setup Wi-Fi Connection
Position the camera and your smartphone within 1 to 3 feet (30 to 100 cm) of your Wi-Fi router for optimal connection.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This camera is compatible only with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. It does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
Follow these steps within the Smartlife App:
- Navigate to "Security & Sensor" and select "Smart Camera".
- Tap on "Add Device".
- Enter your Wi-Fi network password.
- Scan the QR code displayed on your smartphone screen with the camera.

You can share access to your camera with friends or family members by adding their accounts within the Smartlife app. It is essential that the recipient's account is already registered with the Smartlife application.

- Do not place the camera in close proximity to areas with high traffic of moving vehicles. For accurate detection, the recommended distance between the camera and a vehicle is approximately 15 meters (55 feet).
- Keep the camera away from heat sources and airflow, including electrical outlets, air conditioner vents, humidifier outlets, and projector heat vents.
- Do not install the camera facing a reflective surface like a mirror.
- To prevent potential wireless interference, maintain a distance of at least 1 meter (approximately 3 feet) between the camera and other wireless devices, including Wi-Fi routers and mobile phones.
