Maintaining Your Camera

Follow these guidelines for optimal performance:

Maximizing Battery Life

A low battery warning appears below 10%. If the battery reaches 0% during recording, the camera saves the file and powers off.

To maximize battery life:

Battery Storage and Handling

The camera contains sensitive components, including the battery. Avoid exposing the camera to extreme cold or heat, as this may temporarily shorten battery life or cause malfunctions. Avoid sudden changes in temperature or humidity, which can lead to condensation.

WARNING: Do not drop, disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, shred, microwave, incinerate, or paint the camera or battery. Do not insert foreign objects into the battery compartment. Do not use a damaged camera or battery (e.g., cracked, punctured, water-damaged). Disassembly or puncturing the battery can cause explosion or fire.

Remote

The remote control features a Photo button and a Record button. It is splashproof but not waterproof.
