Device Introduction

The VEVOR Wireless Water Timer is designed for automated garden watering. It is ideal for watering lawns, gardens, shrubs, allotments, patios, pots, and for holiday watering.

App Download and Connection

Download the App:

Search for "Smart Life" in the App Store or Google Play, or scan the provided QR code. Register an account within the app.

Connecting the Wireless Water Timer:

1. Bring the water timer close to your smartphone and open the Smart Life App homepage.
2. Insert batteries into the timer; the light indicator will blink rapidly to initiate connection.
3. If pairing does not occur within 1 minute, the light indicator will turn off. Press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds to reset.
4. Add the timer as prompted by the app or by scanning the QR code within the app.

Operating Instructions in App

Quick Guide:

1. Once connected, the paired timer will appear on the app page.
2. Tap "Wireless Water Timer" to access the device's main page.

The app interface displays elements such as: Bluetooth connection status, Water Timer settings, Temperature, Weather Delay, Battery Indicator, Customized Image, Next Watering Notification, Setup options, Manual Watering, Schedule, and Spray modes.

Weather Delay:

1. Select "Weather Delay" and choose a desired period.
2. During the set delay period, scheduled and spray plans will not execute.
3. To enable "Smart Weather" functionality, the timer must first be added to the Company's gateway.

Manual Watering:

1. Tap "Manual Watering" to set the desired runtime and save it.
2. Press the ▶️ button to start manual watering. Watering stops automatically when the set runtime is complete.
3. To cancel manual watering mid-operation, press the [cancel-button] button.

Notes: Connection delay is approximately 0.5 to 3 seconds; avoid repeated button presses.

Tips: Enhanced remote control and additional functions are available when used with the Company's Gateway.

Schedule:

1. Navigate to "Schedule" and then to the "Add" page.
2. Tap "Add" to configure the schedule settings.
3. Set the start time, runtime, and loop/single time, then tap "Save".
4. The on-off button next to the plan in the list will turn green upon successful setup.
5. Up to 5 watering plans can be added following these steps.

Example 1: Schedule mode will water for 10 minutes, starting at 20:15, for a single occurrence.

Example 2: Schedule mode will water for 30 minutes, starting at 06:00, every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Spray:

1. Select "Spray" and proceed to the configuration page.
2. Set the start time, end time, spray duration, interval duration, and loop/single time. Tap "Save" and toggle the on-off button in the upper right corner to green.

Example 1: Spray mode will water for 5 minutes, with a duration time of 20 minutes, starting at 08:00 and stopping at 10:00, for a single occurrence.

Example 2: Spray mode will water for 10 minutes, with a duration time of 30 minutes, starting at 18:30 and stopping at 21:00, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Tips: Ensure the app version is updated and clear the cache regularly for optimal device performance.

Installation

1. Firmly attach the timer to an outdoor hose faucet and connect the water outlet to the water pipe.
2. Use an O-ring, adapter, quick connector, or PTFE tape to prevent water leakage.
3. Turn on the faucet and ensure it remains open.

Notes:

• Always use a filter at the water inlet to prevent impurities from blocking the valve, which could cause failure or leaks. Clean or replace the filter regularly.
• The timer relies on external water pressure (from a tap or water source).
• The timer's operating temperature is 3°C-45°C. In freezing conditions or during long periods of non-use, remove the timer, take out the batteries, drain any water from the valve tube, and store it indoors in a dry place.

Troubleshooting

1. App fails to connect to Wireless Water Timer:

• Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
• Check if the distance between the smartphone and the timer exceeds the effective Bluetooth range; adjust positioning.

2. Reset button pressed, but indicator does not blink:

• Reinstall or replace the batteries and try again.

3. Leaking at hose tap connection or water outlet:

• Ensure the thread is properly screwed.
• If threads do not match, use an adapter, quick connector, or PTFE tape.

4. Little water flow during watering:

• Check for dirt particles blocking the valve tube; clean the filter.
• Verify if the local municipal water pressure is sufficient.

5. No water output at the set time:

• Confirm the faucet is turned on.
• Replace exhausted batteries. The display of " " [low-battery-icon] indicates low power, preventing proper operation.
• Check if "Weather Delay" or "Smart Weather" is active; disable if necessary.
