FAQ / Troubleshooting
Q1. Why is my mouse unable to pair with the 8K dongle?
Answer: Please ensure your mouse model is compatible with the 8K dongle. Download the latest driver version and upgrade the firmware of the compatible mouse to the latest version before attempting to pair.
Q2. Why does my computer lag or fail to achieve the calibrated polling rate after setting a high polling rate?
Answer: High polling rates require sufficient CPU performance and memory frequency. Low-configured computers may experience lag or fail to achieve the preset polling rate.
Q3. Why does my mouse battery life seem shorter after enabling the 8K polling rate?
Answer: A higher polling rate increases mouse power consumption, leading to shorter battery life. This is a normal phenomenon.
Q4. Can I continue using the originally bundled 2.4G receiver after pairing the 8K dongle?
Answer: After pairing the 8K dongle, the originally bundled 2.4G receiver will be unpaired from the mouse and cannot be used simultaneously. If you need to switch back to using the 2.4G receiver, you will need to re-pair it in the driver software.
