General Safety Instructions
? BURN HAZARD:
- Never touch the kettle housing (4) during or immediately after operation. Always hold and lift the kettle (4) by the handle (8) only.
- When the water boils, hot steam escapes. Be careful not to get burned. Use oven mitts if necessary. Turn the kettle (4) so that the steam escapes away from you.
- Note that the heating element surface remains hot after use due to residual heat.
- Clean the kettle (4) only when it has completely cooled down.
- Fill the kettle (4) with a maximum of 1.7 liters of water. Observe the water level indicator (3). Overfilling may cause boiling over, resulting in burns and property damage.
- Boil water only with the lid (10) closed. Otherwise, water may escape the kettle (4), causing burns and property damage.
- Do not open the lid (10) while heating water.
❗ MATERIAL DAMAGE WARNING:
- Use the kettle (4) only with the supplied base (5).
- Do not place any objects on the base (5).
- Operate the kettle only on a level, stable, and heat-resistant surface. If the kettle is not on a level surface, it may tip over due to the movement of boiling water, causing property damage and potentially burns.
- Never leave the kettle unattended during operation.
- Unplug the power plug from the socket when the kettle is unattended.
⚡ ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD:
- If the appliance's power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service, or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazards.
- Never open the housing of the base (5), as it contains no serviceable parts. Opening the housing poses a risk of electric shock.
- If you notice smoke, unusual noises, or smells, immediately switch off the kettle and unplug it. In such cases, do not use the kettle until it has been inspected by a specialist. Never inhale smoke from a potential appliance fire. If you have inhaled smoke, seek medical attention. Inhaling smoke can be harmful to health.
Power Cord Handling
- Ensure the power cord (6) is not near sharp edges or heat sources that could damage it. After each use, store the power cord (6) in the cord storage compartment under the base (5).
- Ensure the power cord (6) is not pinched or crushed.
- The appliance must be disconnected from the mains supply when unsupervised, before assembly, disassembly, or cleaning.
- To unplug, always pull the plug itself, not the power cord (6).
- If you notice any visible damage to the kettle or power cord (6), immediately switch off the appliance, unplug it, and contact customer service.
- Connect the base (5) only to a properly installed, easily accessible socket whose mains voltage matches the rating plate. The product automatically adjusts between 50 and 60 Hz. The socket must remain easily accessible after connection so that the plug can be quickly removed in an emergency.
- No liquid should spill onto the appliance connection.
- Never immerse the base (5) in water or other liquids. If liquid gets into the base (5), unplug immediately and contact customer service.
? FIRE HAZARD:
- Fill the kettle (4) with at least 0.5 L of water. If too little water is used, there is a risk of overheating and fire.

Before preparing water for consumption for the first time, you must first clean the kettle (4) and the anti-limescale filter (1) to remove dust and any packaging residues. Proceed as follows:
- Open the lid (10) by pressing the lid release button (9) and remove the anti-limescale filter (1). Rinse the kettle (4) with clean water and clean the anti-limescale filter (1) under running water.
- Fill the kettle (4) with drinking water up to the “MAX 1.7 L” marking.
- Close the lid (10) by pressing it down, boil the water once (see the following section “Boiling Water”), and then discard it.
Repeat steps 1 to 3 one more time. Reinsert the anti-limescale filter (1). After these steps, the kettle (4) is clean. You can now use the kettle.

- Wind the power cord (6) on the underside of the base (5).
- Place the base (5) on a level, non-slip, and dry surface. Ensure that the power cord (6) is routed through the designated recess on the underside of the base (5) to ensure a secure stand.
❗ WARNING: If the power cord (6) is not routed through the designated recess on the underside of the base (5), the base (5) and kettle (4) will not stand stably. The movement of boiling water could cause the kettle to tip over and result in severe property and personal injury!
- Open the lid (10) by pressing the lid release button (9).
- Fill the kettle (4) with drinking water, at least up to the “MIN 0.5 L” mark and at most up to the “MAX 1.7 L” mark on the water level indicator (3), and close the lid (10) by pressing it down until it clicks.
When placing the kettle (4) on the base (5), you can rotate it freely 360° around the vertical axis. It does not need to lock into a specific position. This allows you to rotate the kettle (4) appropriately, so you can easily check the water level indicator (3) and direct steam away from yourself.
- Plug the power plug into an easily accessible socket.
- Place the kettle (4) on the base (5) and press the ON/OFF switch (7) down to switch on the kettle (4). The integrated operating indicator in the ON/OFF switch (7) lights up white. The kettle may make noises during the heating process; this is not a malfunction.
? BURN HAZARD: Turn the kettle (4) so that the steam escapes away from you. Otherwise, you may get burned. Boil water only with the lid (10) closed. Otherwise, the kettle (4) may boil over and cause burns and property damage.
- Once the water boils, the kettle (4) switches off. The ON/OFF switch (7) automatically returns to the upper position, and the integrated operating indicator goes out.
- Unplug the power cord (6) from the socket, remove the kettle (4) from the base (5), and pour out the water.
? BURN HAZARD: Never touch the kettle housing (4) during or immediately after operation. Always hold and lift the kettle (4) by the handle (8) only. When the water boils, hot steam escapes. Be careful not to get burned. Use oven mitts if necessary. Turn the kettle (4) so that the steam escapes away from you.
8. Maintenance / Cleaning
