[Warning] Ensure your work area is free of hazards. Do not leave tools lying around. Dispose of packaging material safely. Plastic bags pose a suffocation risk to children!

[Warning] Be aware that working with tools or performing manual tasks always carries a risk of injury. Assemble the machine with care and caution!

Verify that all parts listed in the checklist are present and undamaged. Contact your KETTLER dealer for any complaints.

Study the diagrams carefully and assemble the device following the sequence shown. Assembly steps within each diagram are indicated by capital letters.

Assembly must be performed carefully by an adult. If in doubt, seek assistance from a technically skilled person.

The required fastening material for each assembly step is shown in the diagram inset. Use the fastening material exactly as instructed. All necessary tools are included in the small parts bag.

Initially, loosely screw all parts together and check their correct fit. Hand-tighten self-locking nuts until resistance is felt, then fully tighten them against resistance (locking device) using a wrench. After each assembly step, check that all screw connections are firmly tightened. Attention: Once locknuts have been loosened, they lose their locking function and must be replaced.

For technical reasons, preliminary assembly of components (e.g., tube plugs) may be performed.

Assembly Steps Overview:

Step 1: Attach the base frame components. Connect the main frame to the front and rear stabilizers using the specified bolts and washers. (Diagram shows parts labeled A, B, C, D, E, F, G. Hardware: 4x M8x45 bolts, 2x Ø8x19 washers, 2x M5x14 bolts).

Step 2: Connect the main body to the frame. Attach the central housing and pedal arms. (Diagram shows parts labeled A, B, C, D, E, F. Hardware: 2x M8x20 bolts, 2x Ø8x19 washers).

Step 3: Install the flywheel and crank arms. Attach the pedal arms to the flywheel assembly. (Diagram shows parts labeled A, B, C. Hardware: 2x Ø17.5x25 washers, 2x M8x20 bolts, Ø8 washers, Ø8x25 washers).

Step 4: Attach the handlebars and steering column. Connect the steering column to the main frame and then attach the handlebars. (Diagram shows parts labeled A, B. Hardware: 2x Ø17.5x25 washers, 2x M8x20 bolts, Ø8 washers, Ø8x25 washers).

Step 5: Mount the pedals and footboards. Attach the pedal arms to the footboards and then to the main crank mechanism. (Diagram shows parts labeled A, B, C, D, E, F, G, J, K, L. Hardware: 6x M8x16 bolts, 2x Ø8x16 washers, 2x M8x55 bolts, Ø8x25 washers, M8 bolts, 2x M5x14 bolts, 6x ST 3x16 screws, 4x M8x16 bolts).

Step 7: Attach the console and sensor covers. Mount the display console and protective covers for the steering column. (Diagram shows parts labeled A, B, C, D, E. Hardware: 3x M5x14 screws, 1x ST 3x16 screw, 4x ST 3x25 screws).

Step 8: Secure the console. Attach the display unit to the mounting bracket.

Handling and Usage

Ensure the training operation is not started before the assembly is completed and checked.

Do not use the device in damp rooms to prevent rust. Avoid contact of liquids (drinks, sweat) with device parts, as this can cause corrosion.

The training device is designed for adults and not as a children's toy. Children may behave unpredictably, leading to hazardous situations for which the manufacturer cannot be held liable. If children use the equipment, they must be instructed and supervised.

The device operates as a speed-dependent/independent training device, depending on the selected mode.

Slight operational noise from the flywheel is normal and does not affect function. Noise during reverse pedaling is technically normal and harmless.

The device features an adjustable electro-magnetic brake system.

For correct pulse function, a minimum voltage of 2.7 volts is required at the battery terminals (for devices without mains connection).

Familiarize yourself with all functions and settings before your first training session.

Posture and Movement Execution:

Maintain a firm, secure stance on the footboards. The shoe sole may touch the front edge of the footboard, especially for shorter individuals.

Grip the handlebars at chest height with slightly bent elbows. Keep your upper body upright. Ensure knees and elbows remain slightly bent during the entire movement.

During forward movement, lift your heels off the floor, similar to normal running, to engage calf muscles and improve foot circulation.

Workout Options:

Your crosstrainer offers various workout options. You can adjust upper body intensity by actively or passively moving the handlebars. For example, move handlebars passively for more leg/gluteal focus, or dynamically for increased upper body engagement.

You can also choose to omit arm movement by gripping the fixed handles with relaxed elbows, allowing the handlebars to swing freely. This focuses the workout on leg and gluteal muscles.

Care and Maintenance

Damaged components can compromise safety and device lifespan. Replace worn or damaged parts immediately and discontinue use until repaired. Use only original KETTLER spare parts.

To maintain the safety level, the device should be inspected and serviced annually by a specialist dealer.

Ensure no liquids or perspiration enter the device or its electronics.
