Headset Controls

The Stealth™ 600 Gen 2 MAX headset features various controls for an optimal gaming experience.

USB Charge & Update Port

This port is used for charging the headset and for firmware updates.

Power Button

Superhuman Hearing™ Mode: This mode helps pinpoint quiet audio cues like enemy footsteps and weapon reloads. Activate or deactivate by pressing the POWER button once, quickly, during gameplay.

Master Volume (In USB Mode) / Game Volume (In Xbox Mode)

Adjusts the overall volume.

Chat Volume (When transmitter is in Xbox Mode)

Adjusts the chat volume.

Variable Mic Monitoring (When transmitter is in USB Mode)

Adjusts the level of your own voice heard in the headset.

Microphone Mute

Flip the microphone up to mute it. An audible tone will play when the mic is muted or unmuted. Flip down to unmute.

MODE Button

Cycle through audio presets. Refer to the EQ presets table below.

Setup for Xbox

  1. Put the transmitter into "XBOX" mode.
  2. Connect the transmitter to a USB port on your Xbox console.
  3. Power on the headset.
  4. Wait for the headset and transmitter to pair. A solid green LED on both indicates successful pairing.

Surround Sound for Xbox (Only Available on Xbox)

To enable surround sound on Xbox:

  1. Go to Settings > General > Volume & Audio Output.
  2. Set Headset Format to Windows Sonic for Headphones.

Charging

The Stealth™ 600 Gen 2 MAX provides over 48 hours of rechargeable battery life. Ensure to charge it regularly before storing.

Headset Storage

Always charge your headset before storing it for any extended period (greater than 3 months). Never store the unit in temperatures above 113°F/45°C.

USB Transmitter Compatibility

The USB-A transmitter is equipped with a switch that allows you to change compatibility modes.

Setup for USB Mode

  1. Put the transmitter into "USB" mode.
  2. Connect the transmitter to your platform's USB-A port.
  3. Power on the headset.
  4. Wait for the headset and transmitter to pair. A solid green LED on both indicates successful pairing.

Re-pairing

  1. From OFF, press and hold the POWER button on the headset until the LED starts flashing rapidly.
  2. Insert the transmitter into the console/platform.
  3. Press and hold the pin-hole button on the side of the transmitter until the LED starts flashing rapidly.
  4. After a few moments, the headset and transmitter LEDs will become solid, indicating a successful pairing.

Accessing the Rating Label

To access the rating label located under the ear pad:

  1. Remove the left ear pad by pulling the ear pad straight up using your thumb.
  2. Once the cloth is released from the top lip, pull the pad straight back and it should slip right off.

To replace the ear pad, follow the same process in reverse.
