Connectivity and Diagram Description
The diagram illustrates the connectivity of the HYTE Y60 LCD DIY Kit. The LCD panel (viewed from the back) connects to the Control Board using an eDP Ribbon Cable, ensuring the blue tab faces upwards. The Control Board itself has several connection points: a port for the Control Board Cable, a Mini HDMI input intended for connection to an HDMI Video Source, and a 12v Power input designed for connection to a power supply's Molex connector. It is noted that after initial setup, the Control Board is optional, as the LCD will automatically power on and off when power and signal are detected.
