Welcome to your new LINKChef SJ51 Slow Juicer. This guide provides essential information to help you set up, operate, and maintain your appliance for delicious and healthy juices.

Safety Precautions

Please read all instructions before use:

  1. Ensure the juicer is placed on a stable, dry surface.
  2. Always unplug the appliance before assembly, disassembly, or cleaning.
  3. Never immerse the motor base in water or other liquids.
  4. Keep hands and utensils away from the juicing chute during operation.
  5. Do not operate the juicer without all parts properly assembled.
  6. This appliance is for household use only.

Parts Identification

Your LINKChef SJ51 Slow Juicer includes the following components:

  1. Motor Base: The main unit housing the motor and controls.
  2. Juicing Bowl: A container that fits onto the motor base, holding the auger and filter.
  3. Auger (Screw): The helical component that crushes ingredients and separates juice from pulp.
  4. Filter/Strainer: A mesh component that separates the juice from the pulp. It typically has fine holes.
  5. Lid: Covers the juicing bowl, featuring the feeding chute.
  6. Pusher: Used to safely guide ingredients down the feeding chute into the juicer.
  7. Juice Container: A receptacle to collect the extracted juice.
  8. Pulp Container: A receptacle to collect the expelled pulp.

Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your juicer:

  1. Place the motor base on a flat surface.
  2. Attach the juicing bowl securely onto the motor base. Ensure it locks into place.
  3. Insert the filter into the juicing bowl.
  4. Place the auger into the filter, ensuring the end with the locking mechanism fits into the designated slot in the bowl.
  5. Place the lid onto the juicing bowl, aligning any directional arrows or locking tabs.
  6. Attach the juice and pulp containers to their respective outlets on the motor base.

Operation

Enjoy fresh juice with these simple steps:

  1. Ensure the juicer is correctly assembled and plugged in.
  2. Prepare your fruits and vegetables: wash them and cut them into pieces that fit the feeding chute. For hard ingredients like carrots, cutting them into shorter lengths is recommended.
  3. Turn the juicer on using the power button [power-symbol].
  4. Place ingredients into the feeding chute. Use the pusher to gently guide them down. Avoid forcing ingredients.
  5. Juice will flow into the juice container, and pulp will be expelled into the pulp container.
  6. Once finished, turn off the juicer and unplug it.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity:

  1. Disassemble the juicer immediately after use.
  2. Wash all removable parts (bowl, auger, filter, lid, containers) with warm water and mild detergent. A cleaning brush (often included) is useful for the filter.
  3. Rinse all parts thoroughly.
  4. Allow parts to air dry completely or dry them with a soft cloth.
  5. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never submerge the motor base.
  6. Store the juicer in a clean, dry place.
