Precautions to Avoid Possible Exposure to Excessive Microwave Energy
WARNING: Do not operate the oven with the door open. Do not tamper with safety interlocks. Ensure the door closes properly and is free from damage to hinges, latches, seals, and sealing surfaces. Repairs should only be performed by qualified service personnel.
To reduce the risk of burns, electric shock, fire, or injury:

- Do not place objects between the oven front face and the door.

Grounding Instructions
This appliance must be grounded to reduce the risk of electric shock. The cord has a grounding wire and plug. Plug into a properly installed and grounded outlet.
WARNING: Improper grounding can result in electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician if unsure.
If using an extension cord, use a 3-wire cord with a grounded plug and receptacle, rated equal to or greater than the appliance's rating.

About Your Microwave Oven:
- Read this manual carefully and save it for reference.
- NEVER use the oven without the turntable and support, or with the turntable reversed.

- Condensation is normal; amount depends on food and humidity. Covered foods may cause less condensation.

Materials You Can Use in Microwave Oven
- Browning dish: Follow manufacturer instructions. Ensure bottom is at least 3/16 inch (5mm) above turntable.
- Dinnerware: Microwave-safe only. Do not use cracked or chipped dishes.
- Glass jars: Always remove lid. Use only to heat food until just warm. Most glass jars may break.
- Glassware: Heat-resistant oven glassware only. Ensure no metallic trim. Do not use cracked or chipped dishes.
- Oven cooking bags: Follow manufacturer instructions. Slit to allow steam to escape. Do not close with metal tie.
- Paper plates and cups: Use for short-term cooking/warming only. Do not leave unattended.
- Paper towels: Use to cover food for reheating and absorbing fat. Use with supervision for short-term cooking.
- Parchment paper: Use as a cover to prevent splattering or a wrap for steaming.
- Plastic: Microwave-safe only. Follow manufacturer instructions. Should be labeled "Microwave Safe". Slit or pierce plastic pouches as directed.
- Plastic wrap: Microwave-safe only. Use to cover food during cooking. Do not allow wrap to touch food.
- Thermometers: Microwave-safe only (meat and candy thermometers).
- Wax paper: Use as a cover to prevent splattering and retain moisture.
Materials to Be Avoided in Microwave Oven
- Aluminum tray: May cause arcing. Transfer food to a microwave-safe dish.
- Food carton with metal handle: May cause arcing. Transfer food to a microwave-safe dish.
- Metal or metal-trimmed utensils: Metal shields food from microwave energy. Metal trim may cause arcing.
- Metal twist ties: May cause arcing and fire.
- Paper bags: May cause fire.
- Plastic foam: May melt or contaminate food.
- Wood: Dries out, may split or crack.
Names of Oven Parts and Accessories
- Ceramic microwave tray: Use for microwave and conventional cooking. Food like popcorn or potatoes can be placed directly on it. Warning: Gets hot during conventional cooking. Place on metal tray turntable. Can remain in oven unless "Bake on Metal Tray" is required. Use on top of metal tray to pop popcorn. Do not pop popcorn directly on metal turntable tray.
- Wire rack: Use with recess facing down for Convection, Keep Warm, and larger dishes. Use facing up for Broil/Grill.
- Metal tray turntable with bake element below: Provides heat from underneath. Place with rollers "A" on carrier "B". Must sit straight on carrier. Note: Do not use if turntable is not in place. Ensure it rotates freely. Max load: 12 lbs.
- Air Fry Tray & Pan: Designed for Air Fry cooking only. Use oven mitts when handling hot items.
- Round Wire Rack: Can be used for Convection and Microwave Cooking.
- Wire rack: Can be used for microwave cooking only.
- Note: Air Fry and Convection Cook use all elements and the fan. Air Fry has a more powerful convection element for crispier results and is intended for single-rack cooking.
Operation
Setting the Clock
Touch Clock key to enter query state. Hold Clock button for 3 seconds to turn display OFF. Tap clock key to display time for 3 seconds when display is off.
Setting the Timer
Touch Timer key, enter time, then touch START. Opening the door during countdown does not pause the timer. Press CANCEL to stop.
Cancel Key
Use to erase programming errors, cancel timers, or cancel a program during cooking.
Control Lock
Touch and hold CANCEL for over 3 seconds to lock/unlock the control panel. Display shows LOCKED/UNLOCK.
One Touch Start
Touch numeric keys 1-9 to start cooking for 1-9 minutes at 100% power.
Add 30 Sec
Touch to start cooking for 30 seconds at 100% power. Can be used to extend cooking time. Touch <> to add/subtract 5 seconds.
Setting Timed Cooking with Power Level
Use to program specific cook time and power. 11 power levels available (High (100%) down to Low (10%)).
- Example: To cook for 5 minutes at 70% power, touch COOK POWER, then 7, then 500, then START.
Setting Two-Stage Cooking
Program two different power levels for a cook cycle.
- Example: Stage 1: 2 minutes at 30% power. Stage 2: 4 minutes at 70% power. Touch COOK POWER, enter time/power for Stage 1, press OK/START. Enter time/power for Stage 2, press START.
Convection Bake
Use to bake or roast. Select mode, temperature (e.g., 375°F), time (e.g., 33 min), then START.

Use to bake or roast. Select mode, temperature (e.g., 375°F), time (e.g., 33 min), then START.
Tips for Convection Cooking
- Do not cover turntable or metal rack with aluminum foil.
- Use round pizza pans. Avoid pans with extended handles.
- Use for soufflés, breads, cookies, pizza, meats, and fish.
- Lower oven temperature by 25°F for packaged foods.
- Preheat for cakes, cookies, breads. Meats, casseroles, poultry can be cooked without preheating.
- Use heat-proof cookware or metal utensils (only for convection, not microwave/combination).
- Oven holds preheated temperature for 30 minutes if door is not opened.
- PRECAUTIONS: Oven cavity, door, racks, and utensils become very hot. Use oven gloves. Do not use lightweight plastic containers, plastic wraps, or paper products during convection cooking.
Convection Broil/Grill Cooking
Broil at high or low setting, or cook pizza. Select mode, level (High/Low), time, then START.
Pizza Tips
- Use a pizza paddle sprinkled with cornmeal.
- Maximum pizza size is 12 inches.
- Avoid using a pizza stone.
- The metal turntable can be used for cutting pizza. Remove after baking.
Preheat
Select Preheat mode, desired temperature (100°F - 425°F), then START. Oven will beep when temperature is reached.
Keep Warm
Select Keep Warm mode, set time (up to 90 minutes), then START. Operates at 170°F.
Air Fry
Works best with Air Fry Pan/Tray. Program temperatures between 100°F - 425°F. Food should be arranged in single layers. Preheat Air Fry Pan on ceramic tray. Check food at minimum recommended bake time.
- Example: To Air Fry at 425°F for 19 minutes, touch Air Fry, enter temperature, enter time, then START.
Note: Preheat Air Fry Pan with legs extended on ceramic tray. Do not place legs on metal turntable. Adding time does not work during preheating. Oven beeps and displays ADD FOOD when preheated. Oven beeps and displays COOLING when finished.
CAUTION: Preheated Air Fry pan is hot.
WARNING: In case of oven fire, close door, turn off oven. Use fire extinguisher if needed. Do not use water or flour.
Setting Popcorn
Use quick touch pad for 3.3, 3.0, or 1.75 oz bags. Pop only one package at a time.
- Example: To pop 3.3 oz popcorn, touch Popcorn, select 3.3 oz, then START.
Note: Remove wire rack. Use ceramic tray on metal tray. Do not pop directly on metal turntable. Do not leave unattended.
Sensor Operating Instructions
Sensor Cook/Reheat cooks food without manual time/power selection. Oven determines cooking time based on humidity.
- Food should be at normal storage temperature.
- Use microwavable containers.
- Match amount to container size; fill containers at least half full.
- Ensure container and oven interior are dry.
- Cover food with microwaveable plastic wrap, waxed paper, or a lid. Never use tight-sealing covers.
- Do not open door or touch CANCEL during sensing.
Using Sensor Cook
Select food type (Bacon, Frozen Entree, White Rice, Ground Meat, Fish/Sea Food, Potato, Fresh Veggies, Frozen Veggies) and weight using number keys or arrow keys, then START.
Sensor Reheat Table
Select food type (Beverage, Soup Sauce, Pizza, Dinner Plate, Casserole/Pasta) and amount using number keys or arrow keys, then START.
Setting Melt/Soften
Uses low power for melting and softening.
- Example: To melt 8 oz. chocolate, touch Melt/Soften, select Chocolate, enter 8 oz., then START.
Using Auto Defrost
Three defrost sequences: Meat, Poultry, Fish. Weight range: 0.1-6.0 lbs.
- Example: To defrost 0.6 lbs of meat, touch Auto Defrost, select Meat, enter 0.6, then START.
Note: Oven beeps during defrost cycle to remind you to check, turn, or rearrange food. Remove thawed portions.
- Operating Tips: Remove food from packaging. Roll ground meat into a ball. Place foods in shallow containers.
- Defrosting Tips: Enter net weight. Remove metal twist-ties. Open containers. Slit/pierce pouches. Remove foil. Slit skin. Bend pouches for even defrosting. Underestimate time; add more if needed. Defrosting time varies by food shape and solidity. Separate pieces as they defrost. Use small foil pieces to shield parts that get warm, ensuring foil does not touch oven surfaces. Let food stand after defrosting.

Setting Audio Low/Med/High/Off
Touch User Pref key multiple times to scroll to Audio setting and select desired level (Low, Med, High, OFF).
User Pref Settings
- Weight: Toggle between Lbs / KG.
- Language: Select English / French.
- Demo Mode: Turn ON / OFF. Programming functions work in rapid countdown mode with no cooking power when ON.

Touch User Pref key, scroll to Weight, then toggle between Lbs / KG.

Cleaning and Care
Disconnect power cord or deactivate oven before cleaning.
- Exterior: Clean with mild soap and water; rinse and dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Door: Wipe window on both sides with a soft cloth. Clean metal parts frequently. Avoid harsh cleaners.
- Stainless Steel/Smudge-Proof Stainless Steel: Clean with warm soapy water using a sponge or cloth. Rinse and dry. Do not use store-bought cleaners containing abrasives, chlorides, or ammonia. Use mild dish soap and water or a 50/50 water and vinegar solution.
- Interior: Wipe with a soft cloth and warm water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. For heavy soil, use baking soda or mild soap; rinse thoroughly. Clean rack with hot soapy water.
- Waveguide Cover: Keep clean. Wipe with a damp cloth immediately after spatters occur. Do not remove.
- Odor Removal: Boil 1 cup water, lemon peel/juice, and cloves for several minutes at 100% power. Allow to cool, then wipe interior.
- Metal Turntable Tray and Ceramic Tray: Wash in mild, sudsy water or use dishwasher (upper rack). Wipe turntable motor shaft immediately if spills occur.
- Touch Control Panel: Open door before cleaning. Wipe with a cloth dampened slightly with water only. Dry with a soft cloth. Do not scrub or use chemical cleaners.
Service Call Check
Before calling for service, perform the following checks:
- Place 1 cup of water in a glass measuring cup in the oven. Operate at HIGH 100% for 1 minute.
- Check if the oven light comes on. [YES/NO]
- Check if the cooling fan works. [YES/NO]
- Check if the turntable rotates. [YES/NO]
- Check if the water is warm. [YES/NO]
If any answer is NO, check the electrical outlet, fuse, and/or circuit breaker. If they are functioning properly, contact your nearest Electrolux authorized servicer. Never attempt DIY repairs.
Note: If the microwave function does not heat after starting, check if it is in DEMO mode.
Warranty
This appliance is covered by a one-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase. Electrolux will cover costs for repairing or replacing defective parts when the appliance is installed, used, and maintained according to instructions.
This warranty does not cover:
- Products with removed or altered serial numbers.
- Products transferred or removed outside the USA or Canada.
- Rust on interior or exterior.
- Products purchased "as-is".
- Food loss due to refrigerator/freezer failures.
- Products used in a commercial setting.
- Service calls for non-malfunctions, incorrect installation, or user instruction.

- Service calls for consumables like bulbs, filters, knobs, handles, or cosmetic parts.
- Surcharges for after-hours, weekend, holiday service, tolls, or mileage to remote areas.
- Damages to appliance finish incurred during installation.
- Damages caused by unauthorized service, non-genuine parts, abuse, misuse, inadequate power supply, accidents, fires, or acts of God.
- Labor costs after ninety (90) days for carry-in appliances.
The sole remedy is product repair or replacement. Claims based on implied warranties are limited to one year or the shortest period allowed by law. Electrolux is not liable for consequential or incidental damages. Some states/provinces may not allow these limitations.
