- To prevent fire or electric shock, do not place any containers filled with liquid, such as vases, on the unit.
- Install the unit so that the power plug can be easily disconnected in case of trouble.
Disc Information
- To keep discs clean, hold them by the edges. Do not touch the surface of the discs. Dust, fingerprints, or scratches can cause the discs to malfunction.
- Do not expose discs to direct sunlight or heat sources such as air ducts, or leave them in a parked car on a sunny day, as the temperature inside can rise considerably.
- After use, store discs in their cases.
- Clean discs with a suitable cloth. Wipe discs from the center outwards.
- Do not use solvents such as benzine, thinner, disc/lens cleaner, or anti-static spray for vinyl discs.

Precautions
This equipment has been tested and complies with the limits for Directive EMC regarding the use of a connection cable shorter than 3 meters.
Placement
- Place the player in a location with adequate ventilation to prevent heat buildup.
- Do not place the player on a soft surface, such as a carpet, which may block the ventilation openings.
- Do not install the player in an enclosed space, such as a bookshelf or similar furniture.
- Do not place the player near heat sources or expose it to direct sunlight, excessive dust, or mechanical shock.
- Do not place the player in open spaces, vehicles, boats, or other vessels.
- If the player is brought from a cold environment into a warm one, or is placed in a room with high humidity, condensation may form on the internal lenses. This may cause the player to malfunction. In such cases, remove the disc and leave the player on for about half an hour until the moisture evaporates.
- Do not install the player tilted. It is designed for horizontal operation only.
- Do not place heavy or unstable objects on the player.
- Do not place any objects other than discs in the disc drawer. Otherwise, the player or the object may be damaged.

- The player is not disconnected from the AC power source (mains) as long as it is connected to the outlet, even if it has been turned off.
- If you do not intend to use the player for a long period, disconnect it from the outlet. To disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead), pull the plug, not the cord.
- Observe the following to prevent damage to the AC power cord (mains lead):
- Do not use the AC power cord (mains lead) if it is damaged. Otherwise, there is a risk of electric shock or fire.
- Do not pinch the AC power cord (mains lead) between the player and a wall, shelf, etc.
- Do not place heavy objects on the AC power cord (mains lead) and do not pull the AC power cord (mains lead).
Volume Adjustment

Cleaning
Clean the casing, panel, and controls with a soft cloth. Do not use any abrasive cloths, cleaning powders, or solvents such as alcohol or benzine.
Disc Cleaning and Disc/Lens Cleaner Precautions
Do not use disc cleaners or disc/lens cleaning substances (including wet or spray types). These may cause the unit to malfunction.
Parts Replacement
If the player is repaired, replaced parts may be collected for reuse or recycling.
Connecting to the HDMI OUT Jack
Please observe the following, as incorrect connection may lead to damage to the HDMI OUT jack and connector.
- Carefully align the HDMI OUT jack on the rear panel of the player and the HDMI connector by checking their shapes. Ensure this connector is not inserted upside down or at an angle.
- Ensure you disconnect the HDMI cable when moving the player.
- When connecting or disconnecting, do not screw or twist the HDMI connector.

About Wireless Network Security
Since communication using the wireless LAN function is established via radio waves, the wireless signal can be intercepted. To protect wireless communication, this player supports several security functions. Ensure you have configured the security settings correctly according to your network environment.
- No Security: Although you can configure the equipment easily, anyone else can intercept wireless communication or access your wireless network without sophisticated equipment. Always be aware of the risk of unauthorized access to data or interception.
- WEP: WEP applies a level of communication security by preventing others from intercepting communications or accessing a wireless network. WEP is a legacy security technology that allows older devices not supporting TKIP/AES to connect to such a network.
- WPA-PSK (TKIP), WPA2-PSK (TKIP): TKIP is a security technology developed to correct the deficiencies of WEP technology. TKIP provides a higher level of security than WEP.
- WPA-PSK (AES), WPA2-PSK (AES): AES is a security implementation technology for wireless networks that uses an advanced security method different from WEP and TKIP. AES provides a higher level of security than WEP or TKIP.
