Status Indicator

Installing the Nexxt Solutions Home App

Download the Nexxt Home app from Google Play or Apple App Store.

Step 1: Register by email

Fill in the required fields.

Step 2: Enter verification code

Enter the verification code you received.

Step 3: Set Password

Create a new password and then select Completed.

Step 4: Plug in

Plug in the camera using the Micro-USB cable and AC adapter.

The Nexxt Solutions Home app has been successfully installed.

Add Device

Step 1: Select Device

Select the '+' icon to add a device, followed by the smart camera icon.

Step 2: Reset and Connect

Power the device on and make sure the indicator is rapidly blinking or a prompt tone is heard. When you see the icon blinking, select 'next step' and click on Next.

Step 3: Connect to Wi-Fi

You must connect to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. Enter the network password. Make sure you enter the correct password, otherwise the device will not connect. If your Wi-Fi is 5GHz, please set it to be 2.4GHz.

Step 4: Scan QR Code

Scan the QR code from your mobile device with the smart camera. Tap the 'I heard a prompt' button when you hear a tone emitted from the camera.

Step 5: Camera Settings

If pairing is successful, the notification 'Device added successfully' will be displayed on the screen. Click on the pencil icon to rename the camera, and then select Save to store your settings.

Camera Settings Explained

• Full screen: Switches to full screen mode.
• Screenshot: Takes a picture of what the camera is viewing.
• Speak: Allows voice communication through the microphone.
• Record: Starts recording a video.
• Playback: If a microSD™ is installed, you can use the playback function to watch recordings.
• Gallery: Presents a list of all recorded videos and photos stored locally or in the cloud.
• Theme color: Allows users to customize the appearance of the interface by switching to either light mode or dark mode, the latter recommended for battery-saving purposes on your smart device.
• Private mode: Switches the camera to sleep mode to give users peace of mind about their privacy by blocking the lens, recording and microphone functions when they are at home.
• HDR: The High Dynamic Range is a technology that improves the quality of scenes by enhancing the brightness and contrast ratios of the screen.
• Night mode: To set the IR sensor mode as either Automatic, Off or On.
• Motion tracking: Activate this function to have the camera follow the movement of the human body.
• Motion detection settings: Turns the motion detection feature on and off. Changes the sensitivity from Low, Medium, or High.
• Patrol: Swivels the camera to view 355 degrees.
• Unified controls: Use it to set up shortcuts to control other compatible smart devices.
• Messages: A quick way to view the list of push notifications sent to your mobile device.
• Direction: Activate this function to control manually the camera's movement.
• Site: Allows to add specific sites for the Patrol function.
• Cloud storage: For added storage capacity, check our cloud services available through a subscription.
• HD/SD: Switches between High Definition and Standard Definition.
• Mute: Puts the camera's microphone in silent mode.
• Settings: Allow access to the camera parameters.

Device Information

This menu will display information about the camera, including Owner, IP Address, Device ID, Device Time Zone, and Signal Strength.

Basic Function Settings

• Flip screen: Flips the image 180 degrees if the camera is mounted upside down.
• Time watermark: Allows to enable or disable the time on the main screen of the app.
• Talk Mode: Allows one-way or two-way speech.

Vision Nocturna (Night Vision)

Allows you to change the settings for the night vision sensor from Auto, OFF or ON by selecting the option desired. Auto is recommended.

Motion Detection Settings

Turns the motion detection feature on and off.

Alarm Sensitivity Menu

Enables to set in Low, Medium or High the camera's sensitivity to motion.

Zone activity monitoring: Enables the surveillance area setting to focus on a specific area.

Cloud Storage Purchase Options

Provides the option to purchase a selection of cloud storage services. Options include a trial period, Basic Plan, and Premium Plan.

Memory Card Settings

• Total capacity: Shows the capacity of the microSD™ card.
• Used: Shows how much memory has been used.
• Remaining capacity: Shows how much space is left on the microSD™ card.
• SD card recording on/off switch: You can set the camera to constantly record 24/7. How much it records depends on the size of the microSD™ card.
• Format memory card: This will format the microSD™ card to be used on the camera.

Write feedback: Communicate with Nexxt Solutions if you have any issues setting up the product. Select the MORE option on the top right hand corner, followed by selecting the Report Issue button at the bottom.

Firmware information: Nexxt Solutions sometimes adds new features or provides updates with a new firmware upgrade.

Share Device

Additional users will need their own Nexxt Home account. Select 'Add sharing' and then enter the e-mail address of family or friends. Tap on 'Completed'.
