Thank you for purchasing the Smart 2K Wi-Fi camera from Nexxt Solutions. This guide will help you set up and use your new camera.

Installing the Nexxt Home App
Download the Nexxt Home app from Google Play or the Apple App Store.
- Register by email: Fill in the required fields and get an authentication code.
- Enter verification code: Input the code sent to your email.
- Set Password: Create a password (6-20 characters, including letters and numbers).
Once completed, the Nexxt Solutions Home app is set up.
Connecting the Camera
- Plug in the camera: Connect the camera using the provided AC adapter. After approximately 30 seconds, you will hear a tone indicating the camera has started. After another 10 seconds, a second tone will indicate the camera is ready for pairing. If you do not hear the tones, reset the device by holding the reset button for 8 seconds.
- Add Device in App: Open the Nexxt Home app, select 'Add Device', and then choose 'Smart Camera'.
- Reset Device Prompt: Ensure the device is reset and the indicator is blinking rapidly or a prompt tone is heard, then select 'Next Step'.
- Wi-Fi Connection: Connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Enter your Wi-Fi password. Ensure the password is correct.
- Scan QR Code: Select 'Continue' to display a QR code. Scan the QR code with the smart camera from 15-20 cm away.
- Confirmation: Once you hear a prompt tone, click 'I Heard a Prompt'. If pairing is successful, a 'Device added successfully' notification will appear.
- Rename Camera: Click the pencil icon to rename your camera and select 'Save'.
Camera Interface
The camera interface allows you to:
- Full screen: Switch to full screen mode.
- Screenshot: Capture an image of the camera's view.
- Speak: Enable voice communication through the camera's microphone.
- Record: Start video recording.
- Playback: View recorded videos if a microSD™ card is installed.
- Gallery: Access all recorded videos and photos (local or cloud).
- Theme color: Switch between light and dark modes.
- Private mode: Puts the camera in sleep mode, blocking lens, recording, and microphone for privacy.
- HDR: Enhances image quality by improving brightness and contrast.
- Motion detection settings: Turn motion detection on/off.
- Unified controls: Set up shortcuts to control other compatible smart devices.
- Messages: View push notifications.
- Cloud storage: Access photos and videos via a subscription.
- HD/SD: Switch between High Definition and Standard Definition.
- Mute: Disable the camera's microphone.
- Settings: Access camera parameters.
Settings Menu
- Device Information: View details like Owner, IP address, Device ID, Time Zone, and Signal Strength.
- Tap-to-Run and Automation: Configure automated actions.
- Supported third-party control: Integrates with Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
- Basic Settings: Includes Private Mode.
- Basic Function Settings:
- Flip screen: Rotates the image 180 degrees.
- Time watermark: Adds a time and date stamp to recordings.
- High dynamic range: Improves image quality.
- Talk mode: Selects between One-way or Two-way speech.
- Advanced Settings:
- Motion Detection Settings: Enable/disable motion detection, zone activity monitoring, human body filtering, and set alarm schedules and sensitivity (Low, Medium, High).
- Storage:
- Memory Card Settings: View total, used, and remaining capacity of the microSD™ card. Options include Local Recording (continuous or event-based), Schedule, and Format.
- VAS (Value-added services): Subscribe to cloud storage for remote access to videos and photos.
- Offline Notification: Enable/disable notifications if the device goes offline for over 30 minutes.
- Feedback: Submit feedback or report issues.
- Add to Home Screen: Create a shortcut for quick access to device controls.
- Share Device: Share camera access with family or friends by entering their Nexxt Home account email. To remove a user, slide left (iOS) or long-press (Android) and select 'Delete'.
- Device Update: Check for and install firmware updates. Automatic Updates can be enabled.
