Safety Sheet
- The Kiva Wellness Rise Far-Infrared Sauna is designed for indoor use and should be protected from the elements if installed outdoors.
- Children over 10 years may use the sauna under adult supervision.
- Do not use if you have open wounds, eye diseases, or severe sunburn.
- Pregnant women and infants should not use the sauna.
- Exit if you feel uncomfortable, dizzy, or sleepy.
- Consult a doctor if you have health conditions related to temperature.
- Remove all jewelry before entering.
- Do not dry clothes or leave towels in the sauna to avoid fire.
- Do not spray water on heating elements to prevent electric shock or damage.
- Do not place pets in the sauna.
- Open the front door if the sauna becomes too warm.
- Keep liquids away from heating panels and electronics.
- Keep flammable objects and corrosive chemicals away from the sauna.
- Do not touch heating elements or their covers with metal tools to prevent burns or shock.
- Do not use under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Individuals at risk of hypothermia should consult a doctor.
- Consult a health professional for any other concerns.
Installation Requirements
General:
- This unit requires installation by a certified electrician due to its power requirements; it does not come with a standard power plug.
- Do not share the same power outlet with other appliances.
- Install the sauna on a level surface in a dry area, protected from weather.
- Keep the control system dry and protected from rain to reduce the risk of electric shock and fire. Do not open the control system cover due to high-tension fittings.
- Only authorized technicians should perform repairs. Unauthorized modifications can lead to injury and void the warranty.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of electrocution and burns, do not operate unless the heater guard is correctly in place.
CAUTION: Do not place combustible materials on or against heaters at any time.

Assembly Process
Set-up requires two adults.
Step 1: Walls and base
- Place the floor panel in the desired location, ensuring the front part faces the correct direction (arrow sticker towards the door).
- Align the back panel with the corresponding battens on the floor panel. One person should hold it in place.
- Align the left panel with the floor panel and corresponding battens. Secure the 3 male buckles on the back panel with the female attachments on the left panel.
- Repeat with the right panel. Ensure all 3 sides form a solid bond.
Step 2: Bench seat assembly
- Slide the side bench supports vertically into the slots on the left and right side panels.
- Slide the front bench support vertically into the slot within the base board.
- Place the bench seat on top of the side and front bench supports.
Step 3: Front door & handle
- Carefully align the front panel with the sides and floor panel. Apply slight pressure to push it into place. Do not cut the tie in the door until the glass panel is secure.
- Install the door handle using a Phillips head screwdriver, ensuring the wooden side is on the inside.
Step 4: Roof & final steps
- Remove the dust cover from the ceiling component to expose the control box and electrical wires.
- Connect and match each cable with its corresponding partner (e.g., Plug A to Plug A).
- Reattach the dust cover once all electrical components are connected.
- Plug in and turn on the sauna.
Once your sauna has been installed correctly by an electrician, it is ready for use.
Control Panel
The control panel features:
- 1. USB Input
- 2. Light
- 3. Power
- 4. Temperature Control (+/- buttons)
- 5. Timer Control (+/- buttons)
- 6. Audio Control & mode select
- 7. Lock (lock settings)
How to operate the sauna:
- Using the sauna: Press the power button to turn on. Set temperature using TEMP +/- buttons. Set timer using TIME +/- buttons.
- Sauna Lighting: Use the light button to turn the internal light on/off.
- Changing the color: Press and hold the light button for 3 seconds to cycle through colors.
Audio Function:
- Press AUDIO to turn on Bluetooth. The display will show 'BLU'. Sync your device.
- Pressing AUDIO again switches to USB or Radio Audio Function. USB may take 3 seconds to connect.
Lock Function:
- Use the lock button to lock your sauna settings.
Control Box
The control box is located in the roof of the sauna and houses the electrical components. Input/output connections include:

Cleaning & Maintenance
- Always follow the instruction manual for maintenance to ensure longevity.
- Place a towel on the sauna bench to prevent sweat from dripping onto wooden surfaces.
- Open the sauna door after use to release moisture and keep wooden surfaces dry.
- Avoid using sharp objects inside the sauna.
- Use soft paper or a microfibre cloth to clean the glass door.
- Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaning products inside the sauna.
- Unplug the sauna before cleaning. Do not use alcohol or strong cleaning chemicals. Chemicals can damage the wood and its natural protection layer.
- Do not store the sauna in damp environments to prevent staining and rot.
- External ambient temperature may affect the sauna's maximum heating ability.
Sauna Tips
- Pre-sauna hydration is important. Drink plenty of water before your session to ensure adequate hydration and safe perspiration. (Recommended intake: 1L of water per 30 minutes in the sauna).
- Rehydrate after your sauna session to help reduce heat stress. Drink plenty of fluids 2-3 hours post-session.

Warranty
WARRANTY PERIOD:
- Residential/Personal use: Lifetime* warranty on heaters, 5 years on all other parts.
- Commercial use: 1-Year
*Lifetime limited warranty: Refers to the product's expected lifetime with proper care and use (5-10 years for Saunas), covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, discolouration, or fading of wood.
- Damage from improper installation, misuse, abuse, neglect, or modifications.
- Damage from exposure to weather, excessive moisture, mould, or mildew.
- Commercial or non-residential use (unless otherwise stated).
Kiva Wellness reserves the right to inspect the product and determine claim validity. The company may repair or replace defective parts. The customer may be responsible for shipping, labor, or service fees. Kiva Wellness is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages.
Warranty Details:
Kiva Wellness is the official warranty provider. Products are guaranteed free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for specified periods.
Before returning a product, contact Kiva Wellness for warranty claim assistance.
LODGING A WARRANTY CLAIM
Fill out the warranty form on the website:
- Australia: kivawellness.com.au/pages/warranty
- New Zealand: kivawellness.co.nz/pages/warranty
Allow up to 5 business days for claim processing after submission.
If a defect is found under normal domestic use within the warranty period, Kiva Wellness will repair or replace the product or defective part free of charge.
This is subject to applicable consumer laws. If a product qualifies for replacement or service within 30 days of purchase, Kiva Wellness will arrange shipping at no cost. A return authorization form must be included with any product sent to Kiva Wellness.
For expired warranties or non-qualifying products, customers can purchase replacement parts or use Kiva Wellness service centers. Contact Kiva Wellness for quotes on out-of-warranty service.
Liability will not exceed the retail value of the product. Warranties do not extend to parts from sources other than Kiva Wellness.
Customers must cover shipping costs for warranty parts or products.
Exchanged or substitute parts and products become Kiva Wellness property. Repaired or replaced items are warranted for the balance of the original warranty period.
Australia only: Kiva Wellness goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Customers are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Goods also have rights to repair or replacement if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure is not major.
WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
- Damage not caused by a direct defect in factory workmanship or materials (accidental or otherwise).
- Damage due to abuse, mishandling, alteration, misuse, commercial service, tampering, accident, or failure to follow operating and handling provisions.
- Damage caused by parts or services not authorized or performed by Kiva Wellness.
- Normal wear and tear that occurs naturally with use or aging.
- Limitations on incidental or consequential damages may vary by state. For shipment damage, report immediately to the parcel carrier and the distributor.
- Consumer laws in your jurisdiction provide rights and benefits. Kiva Wellness excludes liability for other foreseeable losses, including negligence, expenditure, or loss of enjoyment.
