1. PRODUCT FEATURES
LED Digital Temperature Display: Features a multi-function LED display that clearly and accurately shows the water temperature. Pressing the display for 3 seconds allows switching between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
External Temperature Controller and Out-of-Water Protection: Easy to use for setting the desired temperature. The heating rod will stop working and display an error code if the unit is out of water.
Memory Function and Automatic Shut-off: The memory function preserves the set temperature when power is restored. The heater stops heating once the set temperature is reached.
Explosion-Proof Quartz Heating Tube: The quartz tube is designed to be explosion-proof and insulated, offering greater safety compared to traditional coil heaters.
Safety Control Against Running Dry: The heater automatically shuts off if exposed to air, indicated by "E1" on the LED display. If the temperature reaches or exceeds 95°F (35°C), the display shows "HH", and the heater will automatically shut off.
Compact Size: Ideal for small aquarium tanks, suitable for both freshwater and saltwater environments.

6. WARNING
To avoid possible electric shock, do not immerse the switch in water. If the switch falls into the water or becomes wet, do not touch it until it is unplugged.
Basic safety precautions:
Read and follow this user manual strictly.
DANGER
To avoid possible electric shock, exercise special care as water is used with aquarium equipment. Do not attempt to repair the heater yourself in the following situations; instead, return it to an authorized service facility or discard it.
A. Abnormal Working: If the heater shows any sign of abnormal operation, unplug the power and remove the heater from the water after 15 minutes.
B. Water on Parts: Carefully examine the heater after installation. It should not be plugged in if water is present on parts not intended to be wet.
C. Damaged Cord or Plug: Do not operate the heater if it has a damaged cord or plug, is malfunctioning, or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. The power cord cannot be replaced; if damaged, the heater must be discarded.
D. Preventing Plug Wetting: To prevent the heater plug from getting wet, position the aquarium and its stand away from the wall outlet to avoid water dripping onto the outlet or plug. A "drip loop" should be arranged for each cord connecting the heater to the outlet. Diagram Description: An illustration shows a power cord forming a "drip loop" by hanging below the level of the electrical outlet. This is a safety measure to prevent water from traveling along the cord and reaching the outlet. If an extension cord is used, the "drip loop" is the portion of the cord below the outlet or connector. If the plug or outlet becomes wet, DO NOT unplug the cord. Instead, disconnect the fuse or circuit breaker supplying power to the heater. Then, unplug and check for water in the outlet. If unsure, consult a certified electrician.
Further Safety Precautions
3. Child Supervision: Close supervision is necessary when the heater is used near children.
4. User Limitations: This heater is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction by a responsible person.
5. Hot Parts: To avoid injury, do not contact moving or hot parts.
6. Unplugging: Always unplug the heater from the outlet when not in use, before attaching or removing parts, performing maintenance, or placing hands in the water. Never yank the cord to pull the plug; grasp the plug itself to disconnect.
7. Intended Use: Do not use the heater for purposes other than its intended use. Using attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may create an unsafe condition and void the warranty.
8. Storage: Do not install or store the heater where it will be exposed to extreme weather or temperatures below freezing.
9. Liquid Compatibility: Only use the heater in freshwater or saltwater; do not use it in other liquids.
10. Installation Security: Ensure the heater is securely installed before operating it.
11. Notices: Read and observe all important notices on the heater.
12. Extension Cords: If an extension cord is necessary, use one with a proper rating (amperes or watts). A cord rated for fewer amperes or watts than the heater may overheat. Arrange the cord so it will not be tripped over or pulled.
13. Polarized Plug: The 2-conductor power cord has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This safety feature ensures it fits into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully, reverse it. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted. Do not attempt to bypass this safety feature.
14. Household Use: The heater is intended FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.
15. Save Manual: Save this user manual for future reference.
7. ATTENTIONS
✔️ Please check all items to inspect their condition when unboxing the package.
✔️ Please read this user manual carefully before using it and follow it strictly.
✔️ Please choose a heater rated for your aquarium.
✔️ Please place the heating rod in the path of water flow and do not bury it in the substrate.
✔️ It is suggested that the heater is submerged more than 5 inches below the water.
✔️ Please ensure the heating rod is fully submerged when it is in operation. Unplug the heater and wait for 15 minutes before changing the water or removing the heater.
After using the heater for a while, calcium carbonate contained in algae or moss may clump and adhere to the heating rod.
If dirt adheres to the heating rod, use a sponge or cloth and water to wipe it. Do not use alcohol or other chemicals, as this may damage the heater and harm fish or other livestock.
If you use the heater for a prolonged period with dirt adhered to the heating element, be aware that failure may occur due to the inability to control the temperature correctly.
Please place the heating rod far away from magnetic brushes, as the magnet may damage the heating element.
A slight mist may appear on the inner wall of the tube during heating, which will disappear slowly after heating stops. This is a normal phenomenon and indicates a safe, double-protected product that has passed UL certification.
8. DISPOSAL
Do not dispose of this product as unsorted municipal waste. Collection of such waste separately for special treatment is necessary. This product must be disposed of at an authorized place for the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances, rather than being disposed of with domestic waste. Collecting and recycling waste is a way of saving natural resources. Please consult your local seller to ensure the product is disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
