Riding Advice

The isinwheel GT2 electric scooter is a leisure device. When used in public areas, it is considered a vehicle and subject to all vehicle risks and regulations. For your safety, follow the manual's instructions and traffic laws. Be aware that risks cannot be entirely avoided due to other road users. Speed increases stopping distance. Smooth surfaces can cause slipping. Always ride with caution, maintaining appropriate speed and distance, especially in unfamiliar areas.

  • Respect pedestrian right-of-way. Do not startle pedestrians, especially children. When passing pedestrians, use the bell to warn them and pass on their left. When crossing paths with pedestrians, stay to the right at a low speed or dismount.
  • Strictly follow safety instructions. isinwheel is not liable for financial losses, injuries, accidents, legal disputes, or conflicts arising from violating user instructions.
  • Do not lend your scooter to someone unfamiliar with its operation. Ensure friends know how to operate it and wear safety gear.
  • Inspect the scooter before each use. If loose parts, low battery warnings, excessive wear, strange noises, or malfunctions are noted, stop riding.
  • ⚠️ Warning: Risk of fire. No user-serviceable parts.

Charging

The scooter is fully charged when the charger's LED indicator turns green from red. The charger has overcharge protection and will automatically stop charging when full. However, do not charge the scooter for more than 24 hours at a time. Do not connect the charger if the charging port is wet. Keep the charging port closed when not charging. ⚠️ Warning: Never use a charger exceeding 54.6V 2A to avoid hazards.

First Ride

  2. Press the headlight button to turn on the headlights and ambient lights.
  3. Zero-start: After powering on, press the accelerator, and the motor will engage, propelling the scooter forward. The accelerator works even when the scooter is stationary.
  4. Non-zero start/Kick-and-go: With 'kick-and-go' enabled, push off with your foot to engage the accelerator.
  5. Driving Modes: After powering on, press the +/- buttons to cycle through ECO, STD, and TURBO modes. ECO is the default low-speed mode on first startup.
    • To change modes quickly: Briefly press the 'M' button five times consecutively after powering on. The display will show 45 km/h, indicating the setting is successful.
    • To switch to comfort mode: After restarting the scooter, briefly press the 'M' button five times in a row. The display will show 25 km/h, indicating the setting is successful.

Safety Instructions

Do not use the scooter in the rain. Maintain a medium or low speed (5 mph) when crossing speed bumps, uneven roads, or other irregular surfaces. Bend your knees slightly to adapt better to these surfaces. Be mindful of doors, elevators, and other overhead obstacles. Do not accelerate downhill. Do not press the accelerator while walking next to the scooter. Always stay clear of obstacles.

Illustrations depict these scenarios.

Dangerous Actions (Do Not Attempt!)

Do not hang heavy bags or other objects on the handlebars. Always keep both feet on the deck. Do not ride in traffic lanes or residential areas where vehicles and pedestrians are permitted. Do not turn the handlebars violently at high speeds. Do not ride in puddles deeper than 20 mm. Do not ride with other people, including children.

Illustrations depict these prohibited actions.

More Safety Tips

Keep your feet away from the rear fender. Always keep your hands on the handlebars. Do not touch the disc brake. Do not attempt to ride up or down stairs or jump over obstacles.

Illustrations depict these safety tips.

Disc Brake Adjustment

To adjust disc brake sensitivity: You will need a hexagonal wrench to remove the screws on the rocker arm.

  • If the disc brake is too sensitive, slightly rotate the disc brake rocker arm downwards. Then, reinstall the screws on the brake cable core and tighten.
  • If the disc brake does not stop effectively, rotate the disc brake rocker arm slightly upwards. Then, reinstall the screw on the brake cable core and tighten.
  • Note: The disc brake may squeak during initial use until it is broken in. This is normal and does not affect brake function or performance.

To eliminate disc brake noise: First, ensure the scooter is turned off. For easier operation, it is recommended to lean the scooter against a desk.

  • Loosen the two screws on the caliper (not the screw on the rocker arm).
  • Adjust the position of the disc brake caliper so that the brake disc is centered between the two pads.
  • The disc and brake pads should not touch.
  • Hold the disc brake caliper in the desired position, then retighten the caliper screws.

Daily Care and Maintenance

Cleaning and Storage

If you notice stains on the scooter's body, clean them with a damp cloth. If stains cannot be removed, apply toothpaste and brush with a toothbrush, then wipe with a damp cloth.

  • Notes: Do not clean the scooter with alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive and volatile chemical solvents to avoid direct damage.
  • Do not wash the deck with high-pressure water. During cleaning, ensure the scooter is off, the charging cable is disconnected, and the rubber cover is closed, as water ingress could cause electric shocks or other serious problems. When the scooter is not in use, store it indoors in a dry and cool place. Do not leave it outdoors for extended periods. Excessive sunlight, overheating, and overcooling reduce battery pack lifespan.

Battery Maintenance

  1. Use original batteries. Using batteries from other models or brands may cause safety issues.
  2. Do not touch the contacts. Do not disassemble or puncture the casing. Keep contacts away from metal objects to prevent short circuits that could damage the battery or cause injury or death.
  3. Use the original power adapter to avoid potential damage or fire.
  4. Improper disposal of used batteries can severely damage the environment. To protect natural resources, follow local regulations for proper battery disposal.
  5. After each use, fully charge the battery to prolong its lifespan.

Storage and Disposal

  1. Store the scooter in a cool, dry place, between 14°F and 104°F (-10°C and 40°C). In extremely humid environments, condensation or water accumulation inside the scooter can rapidly damage the battery. The device is not intended for use at altitudes above 2000m. Prolonged exposure to UV rays, rain, and atmospheric agents can damage the casing materials.
  2. In daily use, try to recharge the scooter after the battery is completely depleted. If the battery level is low, recharge it as soon as possible.
  3. Please charge the scooter every two months to preserve the battery.
