The clock display will not illuminate, but the time will be retained in memory. This allows the device to be moved without needing to reset the clock. If the battery discharges, remove it from the device to prevent electrolyte leakage. If you do not wish to use the backup battery function, you can use the device without batteries.
However, if the device is disconnected from the mains, the clock digits will flash again after the power supply is restored, and you will need to reset the clock as described in the section on operating the electronic clock.

Warranty Terms:
- FAST Hungary Kft. (2310 Szigetszentmiklós, Kántor út 10.) as the importer of the product in Hungary provides a warranty for the device of the type and serial number indicated on the warranty certificate, according to the following conditions:
- The warranty period is 24 months from the date of handover to the consumer (purchase), or if the installation is carried out by the seller or its authorized representative, from the date of installation. For products with a sales price of HUF 250,001 and above, the warranty period is 36 months. If the consumer installs the product within six months of handover, the warranty period starts from the date of handover. The warranty period for product components and accessories (e.g., batteries) is 12 months, however, the warranty does not cover batteries. All our products (or their components or accessories) that are listed in Annex 1 of Government Decree 151/2003 (IX.22.) on mandatory warranties for durable consumer goods, and whose purchase price reaches HUF 10,000, are considered durable consumer goods and are subject to mandatory warranty (1 year for prices up to HUF 100,000, 2 years for prices between HUF 100,001 - HUF 250,000, and 3 years for prices above HUF 250,001). Our voluntary warranty applies for the full 24 months for products with a purchase price below HUF 10,000 or not listed in the Decree, and for products listed in the Decree with a purchase price of HUF 10,000 up to HUF 100,000, for the period between months 13-24. Voluntary warranty also applies to product components and accessories if the purchase price of the component or accessory listed in the Decree does not reach HUF 10,000, or if the product itself is not listed in the Decree.
- Warranty claims (points 6(i) and 6(ii) below) can be made with the warranty certificate, within one year from the date of handover (or installation, if applicable) for products with a sales price not exceeding HUF 100,000; within two years for products with a sales price not exceeding HUF 250,000; within three years for products with a sales price exceeding HUF 250,000, directly at the seller, at the service center's headquarters, or at any of its branches or representative offices, or at the authorized service center for repair and replacement claims. In the case of point (i) above, i.e., for products with a sales price not exceeding HUF 100,000, for the additional one-year voluntary warranty period beyond the mandatory warranty period, only replacement and repair claims can be made from the 13th to the 24th month, and these claims can be made directly to the seller or the authorized service center.
- Irregular issuance of the warranty certificate or failure to provide the warranty certificate to the consumer does not affect the validity of the warranty. In the absence of a warranty certificate, the consumer contract is considered proven if the consumer presents proof of payment. For this reason, we kindly ask our valued customers to keep their proof of payment.
- In case of defective performance or malfunction within the warranty period, the consumer may, at their option, demand (i) free repair or replacement of the defective product, unless the chosen claim is impossible or would result in disproportionate additional costs for the obligor compared to fulfilling another warranty claim, taking into account the value of the serviced item in perfect condition, the severity of the breach of contract, and the damage caused to the consumer by fulfilling the warranty claim; or (ii) demand an appropriate price reduction in accordance with the severity of the breach of contract, or withdraw from the contract if: the obligor has not undertaken repair or replacement, or has refused to make the product conform to the contract by citing the impossibility or disproportionate additional cost of repair or replacement, or it is evident from the circumstances that the obligor cannot fulfill this obligation within a reasonable period, without harming the consumer's interests or causing significant damage to the consumer, or if the defect has reappeared despite the obligor's attempt to make the product conform to the contract, or if the consumer's interest in the proper fulfillment of the contract has ceased to exist due to the defect, or if the defect is insignificant and does not prevent the proper use of the product. The consumer is also entitled to demand an appropriate price reduction or withdraw from the contract if the obligor has not fulfilled their obligation to remove the defective product and install the replacement or repaired product at their own expense, or if the obligor has not fulfilled their obligation to bear the costs of removal and installation, or if the consumer has not been informed about the maintenance obligations of the product, or if the consumer has not been provided with the necessary information for maintenance. The consumer may change their chosen right to another. The consumer must pay the costs incurred by the change to the warranty obligor, unless the change was caused by the warranty obligor or the change is otherwise justified.
- The consumer is entitled to withhold the remaining part of the purchase price, in proportion to the severity of the breach of contract, until the seller fulfills its obligations regarding the conformity of performance and defective performance.
- If the defect affects a specific part of the goods, and the conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal are met for that part, the consumer may withdraw from the contract only with respect to the defective goods; however, the consumer may also withdraw from any other goods acquired with the defective goods if it is not reasonable to expect the consumer to keep only the conforming goods. The consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal by a declaration of intent addressed to the seller. In case of withdrawal, the consumer must return the affected goods to the seller at the seller's expense, and the seller must immediately refund the purchase price paid by the consumer for the affected goods upon receipt of the goods or proof of return. In the case of a price reduction, the price reduction is appropriate (proportional) if its amount corresponds to the difference between the value of the goods that the consumer would have received in case of conforming performance and the value of the goods actually received by the consumer.
- In the case of mandatory warranty, the seller must draw up minutes of the warranty claim reported by the consumer, in accordance with the regulations on the procedure for handling warranty and guarantee claims for goods sold under a consumer contract.
- If, during the first repair of the product within the mandatory warranty period, it is determined that the product cannot be repaired, the product shall be replaced within 8 days of the determination, unless the consumer has made a different arrangement. If replacement is not possible, the purchase price indicated on the proof of payment presented by the consumer shall be refunded within eight days.
- If the product malfunctions again after three repairs within the mandatory warranty period, the product shall be replaced within 8 days, unless the consumer has made a different arrangement and does not request a proportional price reduction according to the relevant regulations. If replacement is not possible, the purchase price indicated on the proof of payment presented by the consumer shall be refunded within eight days.
- If the product is not repaired within 30 days of the notification of the repair claim during the mandatory warranty period, the product shall be replaced within eight days after the expiry of the 30-day period, unless the consumer has made a different arrangement. If replacement is not possible, the purchase price indicated on the proof of payment presented by the consumer shall be refunded within eight days after the expiry of the 30-day repair period.
- The consumer must report the defect without delay after discovering it, but no later than two months after discovery. The consumer is responsible for any damage caused by the delay in reporting. Please note that warranty claims can only be made within the warranty period (i.e., 24 or 36 months depending on the product price, or 12 months for components and accessories)! However, the mandatory warranty period is extended by the period during which the consumer could not use the product as intended due to the defect, starting from the date of handover for repair. If the warranty obligor fails to fulfill their warranty obligation within the prescribed period, the warranty claim can still be enforced in court within 3 months from the expiry of the period set by the consumer for fulfillment, even if the warranty period has already expired. Failure to meet this deadline will result in the loss of the right.
- The costs incurred in fulfilling the warranty obligation shall be borne by the warranty obligor. It is not a condition for exercising warranty rights that the consumer return the opened packaging of the consumer good.
- We inform you that to resolve consumer disputes outside of court, as defined by consumer protection law, you can also initiate proceedings with a conciliation body operated by the county (capital city) chambers of commerce and industry (conciliation body contact details and further information: https://bekeltetés.hu/index.php?id=testuletek, and https://www.fogyasztovedelem.kormany.hu/#/bekelteto_testuletek).
