Tips and Hints
- Air Frying: Use the Air Fry Basket in the Baking/Drip Tray. Air fry at 200°F–450°F for up to 1 hour. A light coating of oil can enhance browning. Avoid cooking sprays or low smoke point oils. Foods cook more evenly when cut to the same size and tossed or flipped halfway through for larger items or crowded trays.
- Baking: Use 200°F–450°F for up to 2 hours. Use Low fan speed for delicate items and High fan speed (Convection Bake) for even browning. Adjust cooking times as needed.
- Roasting: Use 200°F–450°F for up to 2 hours. High fan speed is effective for roasting meats and poultry, reducing cooking time and ensuring a moist interior.
- Broiling: Set to 450°F for up to 2 hours. Use the Broil rack in the Baking Pan. Monitor food closely as items can brown quickly. Never use glass dishes for broiling.
- Toasting: Set shade from light to dark (1-7). For best results, center 2 slices, space 4 slices evenly (two front, two back), or space 6 slices evenly (three front, three back). Always use Position 2 for toasting.
- Dehydrating: Use 100°F–200°F for up to 72 hours. Arrange food in a single layer with no overlap. Drying times vary based on food thickness and humidity.
