This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the Anker Nebula Capsule 3 Laser projector.

Charging
- Adapter is for indoor use only.
- Install adapter near the product for easy access.
- Connect to USB 2.0 or higher.

Battery
- Remote control batteries are a choking hazard; keep away from children.
- Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for a long time.

Getting Started
1. Prepare the Remote
- Slide to open the battery compartment.
- Insert new batteries matching the polarity (+/-) and close the compartment.
- For first-time use, follow on-screen instructions to pair the remote.
Note: The distance between the remote and projector should not exceed 10 m / 33 ft.
2. Position Your Projector
Place the projector on a stable, flat surface facing the projection surface. For best results, the projection surface should be white and flat.
It is unnecessary to tilt the projector; use the built-in autofocus and auto-keystone correction. A tripod can also be used (sold separately).
The distance between the projector and the screen determines the image size. For a screen size of 40-120 inches, position the projector 1.06-3.18 m (3.37-10.43 ft) away.

3. Charge Your Projector
For first-time use, fully charge the projector using the provided adapter and charging cable.
4. Power On / Off
Press and hold the projector power button for 3 seconds to power on or off.
- You can also press and hold the power button on the remote for 3 seconds to power off.
- Press the power button on the projector or remote to switch to standby mode.
- In HDMI Source Mode, the projector enters standby after 10 minutes of inactivity or no signal.
- The projector automatically powers off after 30 minutes in standby mode.
5. Autofocus and Auto Keystone Correction
To enable autofocus and auto keystone correction, slightly move the projector or press the [focus/keystone] button on the remote.
6. Setup
For first-time use, follow the on-screen display (OSD) instructions for basic setup:
- Pair the remote with your projector.
- Select your language.
- Set up your TV with your Android phone (optional).
- Connect to Wi-Fi.
- Sign in with your Google account.
Nebula Connect App
Download the Nebula Connect app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to easily control the projector.
- Download the app.
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
- Open the Nebula Connect app and select [Capsule 3 Laser] > [XXXXXX] to connect.
- Follow on-screen instructions to complete connection setup.
Settings
1. Network
Connect to the internet via Wi-Fi:
- On the home page, select [Settings] > [Network & Internet] and press [OK].
- Follow on-screen instructions to complete the network connection.
2. Projector Settings
Access settings via the home page: select [Settings] > [Projector Settings] and press [OK].
- [Brightness]: Adjust brightness based on your environment.
- [Picture]:
- [Picture Mode]: Choose from preset modes like Standard, Movie, Game, or Custom.
- [Expert Settings]: Advanced settings for image quality (DNR, MPEG NR, DI Film Mode, MEMC).
- [Image Correction]:
- [Auto Keystone Correction at Startup]: Automatic correction when powered on.
- [Auto Keystone Correction After Movement]: Automatic correction after moving the projector.
- [Manual Keystone Correction]: Manual adjustment when auto correction is off.
- [Focus Settings]:
- [Manual Keystone Correction Access]: Manual keystone correction.
- [Zoom]: Adjust projection image size from 50% to 100%.
- [Auto Focus at Startup]: Automatic focus when powered on.
- [Auto Focus After Movement]: Automatic focus after moving the projector.
- [Manual Focus Correction]: Manual focus adjustment.
- [Sound]:
- [Sound Mode]: Choose from preset modes like Music, Movie, Outdoors, or Custom.
- [System sound]: Enable/disable system sound notifications.
- [Expert Settings]: Advanced audio settings (Digital Output, eARC, Downmix Mode, Auto Volume Control).
- [Bluetooth Speaker Mode]: Enable Bluetooth speaker mode.
- [Advanced Settings]:
- [Projector Mode]: Select placement (Auto, Front, Front Ceiling, Rear, Rear Ceiling).
- [Motion Settings]: Adjust G-sensor sensitivity for autofocus/keystone.
- [Keystone Calibration]: Recalibrate keystone correction.
- [Smart Solutions]: Enable/disable auto-alerts (Projection Angle Alert, Slow Charging Alert, Fine Tuning Alert).
3. Apps
- On the home page, select [Apps] and press [OK].
- Select an app to check its version, open, force stop, manage storage, clear data, uninstall, or adjust permissions.
4. Device Preferences
Access settings via the home page: select [Device Preferences] and press [OK].
- [About]: View product information, update system, reset, or rename the device.
- [Date & Time]: Enable/disable automatic date/time, set manually.
- [Timer]: Configure auto power-off settings.
- [Language]: Select on-screen display language.
- [Keyboard]: Manage keyboards.
- [Input]: Select HDMI input or change CEC settings.
- [Power]: Adjust auto-sleep, turn off display, or set auto power-off.
- [Storage]: Check device storage.
- [Home screen]: Set channels/apps or check licenses.
- [Google Assistant]: Configure Google Assistant settings.
- [Chromecast built-in]: Manage notifications and media casting.
- [Screen Saver]: Change screen saver settings.
- [Location]: Permit apps to estimate locations.
- [Usage & Diagnostics]: Send diagnostic information to Google.
- [Accessibility]: Change caption settings or enable accessibility services.
- [Restart]: Restart the system or cancel.
5. Others
On the home page, select [Settings] to find more options:
- [Accounts & Sign-in]: Sign in for Android TV features.
- [Remotes & Accessories]: Search for accessories for pairing.
Using Your Projector
1. Select an App
Once connected to Wi-Fi, access online services, movies, music, pictures, and browse online. Download more apps from Google Play.
- Press [Home] to access the home page.
- Select [Apps] > [Get more apps].
2. Voice Assistant
After setup, press the Google Assistant button on the remote and speak your commands.
3. Wireless Casting
Wirelessly cast movies, games, music, and your entire screen from iOS, macOS, Android, or Windows devices to the Nebula Capsule 3 Laser.
Note: Ensure the Nebula Capsule 3 Laser and your device are connected to the same wireless network (Wi-Fi or phone hotspot).
3.1 Cast In-App Content
Cast content from apps supporting Chromecast (e.g., YouTube, Prime Video):
- Connect your device and projector to the same wireless network.
- Open the streaming app on your device.
- Play a video clip and tap the cast icon.
- Select D2426 to connect. The projector will mirror the video screen.
3.2 Cast Device Screen
Cast your entire screen from your device to the projector:
- Connect your device and projector to the same wireless network.
- Install the AirScreen app on your projector.
- Open AirScreen and follow on-screen instructions.
Note: Certain content may be restricted due to copyright. Stream via the same app installed on the projector.
4. Play from HDMI Playback Devices
Connect to TV boxes, TV sticks, DVD players, set-top boxes, gaming consoles, etc., using an HDMI cable (not provided).
- Connect the projector to an HDMI playback device with an HDMI cable.
- Access the settings menu: select [Settings] > [Device Preferences] > [Input] > [HDMI].
Note: The projector will automatically start HDMI playback when connected to an HDMI device for the first time.
5. Play from a USB Drive
Enjoy music, video, pictures, or install apps from a USB 2.0 drive.
- Download the File Explorer app from Google Play.
- Insert a USB-A drive (with converter) or USB-C drive into the USB port.
- Select media or apps from the USB drive to play.
- Press [OK] to stop playback.
6. Play Through External Sound Devices
Connect to headphones or external speakers using a 3.5 mm audio cable or adapter (not provided). The built-in speaker system is disabled when external speakers are connected.
Note: Before using headphones, turn down the volume to avoid ear damage.
7. Bluetooth Speaker Mode
Use the projector as a standalone Bluetooth speaker:
- Option A: Press the [Mode] button on the projector.
- Option B: On the home page, select [Settings] > [Bluetooth Speaker Mode] and press [OK].
Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and select "Nebula Capsule 3 Laser" to connect.
Note: To exit Bluetooth speaker mode, press the [Mode] button on the projector or press and hold the [Power] button on the remote for two seconds.
System Update
To enhance your experience with the latest features, update the system periodically.
Go to [Settings] > [Device Preferences] > [About] > [System update] > [Check for update].

Troubleshooting
- Fails to Power On: The projector may be out of power. Charge for 15-30 minutes and check the power light.
- Cannot Charge: Use the included adapter and cable. Try a different adapter (min 30W) and USB-C cable.
- Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi: Ensure projector is within 16 ft / 5 m of the router. Set router to 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz. Restart projector and router. Try a different Wi-Fi network or phone hotspot.
- Blurry Image: Slightly move the projector or press the [focus/keystone] button. For manual focus, go to [Settings] > [Projector Settings] > [Focus Settings] > [Manual Focus Correction] and use the navigation buttons. Adjust projection angle and height if necessary.
- Distorted Image: Update firmware via [Settings] > [Device Preferences] > [About] > [System update]. Enable [Manual Keystone Correction] in [Settings] > [Projector Settings] > [Image Correction] and access it. Move projector or adjust tilt.
- No HDMI Signal: Use a different HDMI cable. Connect to another HDMI device. Connect the HDMI device to your TV to check cable/device. Adjust HDMI device's output resolution/frequency to match the projector.
- How to Install Netflix: Download and install the Nebula Play app. Open Nebula Play, select Tips > Netflix Installation, and follow instructions.
- How to Control Netflix with Mouse Mode: Install Nebula Connect on your phone, connect to Capsule 3 Laser, and select Mouse mode.
- How to Play Videos without Wi-Fi: Download videos to a USB drive in FAT32 format. Refer to "Play from a USB Drive".
