Important Safeguards
⚠️ WARNING: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS VACUUM CLEANER.
- Prevent unintentional starting: Ensure the switch is OFF before connecting the battery pack, picking up, or carrying the appliance.
- Do not touch the nozzle when the vacuum cleaner is on.
- Do not put any object into openings. Keep openings free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that could cause blockage or explosion.
- Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
- Do not operate the vacuum cleaner or charger if damaged. Call 1-800-282-2886 if the vacuum is not working as expected, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water.
- Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
- Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.
- Do not pull or carry the charger by the cord. Use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
- Use extra care when cleaning stairs.
- Do not use extension cords or outlets with inadequate current-carrying capacity for the charger.
- Do not unplug by pulling on cord. Grasp the plug, not the cord.
- Do not handle charger or vacuum cleaner with wet hands.
- Use appliances only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
- DO NOT MUTILATE OR INCINERATE BATTERIES. THEY BECOME DANGEROUS AT HIGH TEMPERATURES.
- Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns. If liquid gets on skin, seek medical attention, wash with soap and water, and neutralize with a mild acid. If liquid gets into eyes, rinse immediately with water for at least 10 minutes.
- When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects (paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws) that can connect terminals. Shorting battery terminals together may cause fire.
- This product functions within a temperature range of 4°C to 40°C (40°F to 104°F).
- Do not use a damaged or modified battery pack or appliance. Damaged batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior.
- Do not expose battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure above 130°C (266°F) may cause explosion.
- Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or appliance outside the indicated temperature range. Improper charging can damage the battery and increase fire risk.
- Have servicing performed by an identical replacement parts. This will ensure product safety.
- Do not attempt to repair the appliance or battery pack except as indicated in the instructions.
- Terminals on vacuum cleaner and battery should be kept clean. Do not insert metal objects into terminals.
- Do not vacuum anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
- Do not use without filters in place.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner to pick up flammable or combustible liquids like gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
- Store vacuum cleaner and charger indoors in a cool, dry area. To avoid electric shock and/or cleaner damage, do not expose to weather elements.
- Keep your work area well-lit. Unplug electrical appliances before vacuuming them.
- Avoid overcharging, short-circuiting, reverse charging, mutilating, or incinerating cells and batteries.
- If a cell or battery has leaked, replace it immediately using protective gloves.
- If necessary, replace cells or batteries with identical new ones from the same manufacturer. If a cell or battery is connected in series with others, it's recommended to replace all at the same time.
- Reverse polarity installation of the cell or battery must be avoided.
- Do not incinerate this appliance even if severely damaged. Contact local waste facility before discarding.

How to Identify Parts of Your Vacuum Cleaner
Familiarize yourself with the components:
- Detachable hand vacuum: Contains the motor, dust cup, and controls.
- Release button for hand vacuum: Allows detachment of the hand vacuum from the wand.
- Wand: Extends the reach of the vacuum.
- Carpet indicator light: May indicate performance on carpeted surfaces.
- MAX indicator light: Shows when maximum power mode is engaged.
- Battery indicator lights: Display the charge level of the battery.
- Floor indicator light: May indicate optimal settings for different floor types.
- MAX power button: Engages the highest suction setting.
- Dust cup lever: Used to empty the dust cup.
- Filter cover: Access to the filter assembly.
- Handle: For comfortable grip.
- Power button: Turns the vacuum on and off.
- Filter assembly (inside dust cup): Contains the filter screen and foam components.
- Bottom lid: Part of the dust cup that opens for emptying.
- Charging Battery port: Where the charger connects to the hand vacuum.
- Brushroll indicator light: May indicate the status or function of the brushroll.
- Release button: Used to detach components like the wand or nozzle.
- Fiber Foam: Part of the filter assembly.

Easy Assembly, Wall Mount Installation, and Charging
Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your vacuum:
Battery Installation
1. Slide the battery onto the hand vacuum until it clicks into place.
Wand and Nozzle Attachment
2. Slide the wand onto the hand vacuum until it clicks (Fig. 2).
3. Slide the nozzle onto the wand until it clicks (Fig. 3).
Wall Mount Installation
Choose a location near a power outlet, high enough on the wall for the nozzle to hang freely.
1. Place the mount against the wall and use a pencil to mark the drill holes.
2. Drill holes (using a 1/4" bit) and insert drywall anchors.
3. Insert screws through the holes on the mount and tighten.
4. Loop the charger cord into the clips on the sides of the wall mount.
5. Snap tool(s) into the tool storage areas on the mount.
6. Place the assembled vacuum cleaner on the wall mount.
Charging the Battery
1. Plug the charger into a power outlet and then into the charging port on the hand vacuum.
2. Indicator lights stop blinking when the battery is fully charged.
3. Charge the battery fully before the first use (approximately four hours).
How to Use Your Vacuum Cleaner
Operating your Eureka cordless stick vacuum is straightforward:
Vacuum Operation
1. Click the power button once to start the vacuum (Fig. 1).
2. Adjust settings based on the surface you are cleaning (Fig. 2). The vacuum may have floor or carpet indicators.
3. For maximum power, press the MAX power button (Fig. 2).
4. Glide the vacuum back and forth over the area to be cleaned. Avoid vacuuming oversized or sharp items like screws.
5. Twist your wrist to engage the swivel function for easy maneuvering around furniture (Fig. 3).
6. When finished, click the power button once to stop the motor.
Emptying the Dust Cup
There are two ways to empty the dust cup:
- Hold the cleaner over a waste basket. Press the dust cup lever to release the bottom lid and empty debris (Fig. 4).
- Alternatively, remove the dust cup from the hand vacuum (Fig. 5). Once emptied, reattach the dust cup by lining up the arrow on the dust cup with the arrow on the hand vacuum. Twist the dust cup until the arrow lines up with the locked position.
How to Use Hand Vacuum and Accessory Tools
The hand vacuum can be used independently or with accessories:
Using the Hand Vacuum
Press the release button and remove the wand to collect debris directly with the hand vacuum nozzle (Fig. 1). This is ideal for quick cleanups or small areas.
Using Accessory Tools
⚠️ Moving parts! Always turn off the hand vacuum before attaching accessories.
- To use tools with the wand: Press the tool onto the end of the wand until it clicks (Fig. 2).
- To use tools with the hand vacuum only: Press the tool directly onto the hand vacuum until it clicks (Fig. 3).
Accessory Tool Descriptions:
- Crevice tool: Cleans hard-to-reach areas like corners, baseboard edges, dryer vents, chairs, and sofas.
- 2-in-1 upholstery tool: Use the brush to vacuum blinds, vents, or upholstered surfaces. Use the felt portion to clean delicate surfaces. Switch between felt and brush by pressing the thumb release and sliding the brush up or down.
- PowerPlush nozzle (NEC226-NEC229 models): Attach for optimal performance on various surfaces.
- Motorized pet tool (select models): Ideal for cleaning stairs and upholstery, especially for pet hair. Press the release button to remove the wand, then attach the tool directly to the hand vacuum. Click the power button to start.
How to Maintain Your Vacuum Cleaner
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance:
Dust Cup and Filter Maintenance
⚠️ WARNING: Ensure the vacuum is turned OFF and disconnected from the charger before performing maintenance.
- Twist the dust cup and remove it from the hand vacuum.
- Empty the dust cup by pressing the lever to open the bottom lid.
- To clean the filter assembly: Remove the filter assembly from the dust cup. Separate the fiber and foam filters. Rinse them under cold water and allow them to air dry COMPLETELY (at least 24 hours) before reassembling and reinserting them into the dust cup. Ensure the filter screen is also clean.
- Reassemble the dust cup by lining up the arrows and twisting until it clicks.
Note: Filters should be cleaned regularly and replaced as needed to maintain suction power.
Warranty Information
The Eureka Two-Year Limited Warranty
Midea America Corp. (Eureka) warrants this vacuum cleaner to be free from defects in material and workmanship for two years from the original purchase date, when used according to instructions and for normal household use. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and immediate household members, and only to original purchases from authorized Eureka resellers.
Eureka's Obligation: Eureka will, at its option, repair or replace a defective vacuum or part. Replacements may be new or reconditioned units. Eureka reserves the right to substitute equivalent products.
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover battery modules/components (covered by a separate 1-year warranty), normal wear and tear (filters, belts, brush rolls, etc.), damage from improper use, abuse, negligence, unauthorized repairs, or external causes like extreme temperatures, moisture, or power surges. Altering or removing the serial number voids the warranty.

Troubleshooting
Address common issues with these solutions:
Thermal Cut-off and Problem Solving
If the vacuum cleaner stops working due to motor overheating, a special thermostat will shut it off.
1. Check the vacuum for blockages (dust cup, filters, nozzle, wand).
2. Ensure the battery is charged.
3. Let the vacuum cool down for at least 30 minutes.
4. After 30 minutes, press the power button. If it still does not work, call Eureka Customer Service at 1-800-282-2886.
Motor Will Not Start
- Ensure the cleaner is fully powered (battery charged).
- Check the battery and charger for damage. Ensure they are properly connected.
- Check the wall outlet or circuit breaker.
- Ensure filters are clean and properly installed.
- See detailed "thermal cut-off" instructions above.
Charging Indicator Lights Are Not Lit While Charging
- Make sure the charger is properly plugged into the wall outlet and the vacuum cleaner.
- Ensure the battery is correctly inserted.
- Charge the battery for at least 4 hours before first use.
- Check the brushroll for debris that might be preventing operation. See page 9 for maintenance instructions.
How to Dispose of Vacuum Cleaner and Battery Pack
To preserve natural resources, please recycle or dispose of the expired battery pack properly. The battery is a Li-ion type. Contact your local waste facility for disposal information.
