Heavy Metal Distortion Effects Pedal
Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Behringer HEAVY DISTORTION HD300. This high-quality effects pedal allows you to produce thick, tube-like distortion with endless sustain, ideal for achieving the signature sounds of hard rock and heavy metal when playing through a clean amplifier channel.
1. Controls
- 1. LEVEL: Adjusts the output level.
- 2. TONE: Shapes the overall sound of the effect.
- 3. BOTTOM: Boosts or cuts the low-frequency range.
- 4. DIST(ortion): Controls the amount of distortion.
- 5. GAIN BOOST: Increases gain for more extreme distortion sounds.
- 6. ON/BATT LED: Illuminates when the effect is active and serves as a battery level indicator.
- 7. Footswitch: Activates or deactivates the effect.
- 8. 1/4" TS IN Connector: Connect your instrument cable here.
- 9. 1/4" TS OUT Connector: Sends the signal to your amplifier.
Use the DC IN connection for a 9 V power supply (not included). The battery compartment is located under the pedal cover. To install or replace the 9 V battery (not included), press the hinges with a ballpoint pen and carefully remove the pedal cover to avoid scratching the unit.
Operation
The HD300 does not have a separate on/off switch. The pedal is active as soon as you plug your instrument into the IN connector. To conserve battery life when not in use, unplug the cable from the IN connector.
The serial number is located on the underside of the unit.
2. Safety Instructions
Do not use or install near water or heat sources. Use only authorized accessories and attachments. Do not attempt to service the product yourself. Contact qualified service personnel for servicing or repairs, especially if the power supply cord or plug is damaged.
