Hunter Beverly Glen 5-Light Linear Chandelier Installation Guide
Models: 13232, 13233
Preparation for Installation
Carefully remove all contents from the carton. Shut off the power ? at the circuit breaker and completely remove the old fixture from the ceiling, including the old mounting bracket. Remove the new mounting bracket assembly from the bag and remove cap nuts (M) from mounting screws (B). Put the drywall anchors (C) inside the drilled holes in the ceiling. Place the mounting plate (D) over the junction box so that mounting screws (B) extend out away from the ceiling. Pull the house wires through the center of mounting plate (D). Secure mounting plate (D) to the junction box by tightening the screws (F) then insert the drywall screw (E) through the mounting plate (D) into the drywall anchor (C).
Assembling the Fixture
This fixture requires either 12-inch stems (P), 6-inch stems (Q), or a hang straight (O) for each side. Determine the correct number of stems needed for your desired hanging height. To lengthen the fixture, add additional stems. To shorten the fixture, trim the wires to the desired length, leaving at least 8 to 10 inches of wire in addition to the desired length. Slide any excess stems off the fixture's wiring to discard. Ensure at least one stem is used to hang the fixture on each side. Thread the wires through the stems and pull the wires until taut before connecting the stems and hang straight (O) together. Ensure all threads are engaged but do not overtighten (some manual straightening of the stems may be required). For sloped ceilings, ensure the notched side of the hang straight (O) faces away from the peak of the ceiling (twist into place if needed). Place the reinforcing plate (J) inside the canopy (L) and position the canopy (L) over the threaded post (N) of the hang straight (O). Put the threaded post (N) through the wire rope loop (K) and washers (I). Secure the reinforcing plate and canopy with the wing nut (H) on the threaded post (N). Hide the wire rope inside the canopy (L). Secure the screw collar loop (A) into the mounting plate (D).
Connecting the Wires
With a helper supporting the fixture's weight, connect the fixture's wires to the power supply wires from the junction box. Connect black wire to black (live), white wire to white (neutral), and grounding wire (green or copper) to grounding (green or copper). Twist the ends of the wire pairs together, then twist on a wire connector. Ensure all twists are in the same direction. Loop the fixture's ground wire around the grounding screw (G) and tighten. If no ground wire (green or copper) is present from the junction box, contact a qualified electrician.
Wire Identification:
- Fixture Wires: Black (or Smooth), White (or Ribbed), Bare Copper (or Green)
- House Wires: Black (Live), White (Neutral/Grounded), Green or Copper (Grounding)
Finishing the Installation
Raise the canopy (L) to the mounting plate (D) and position mounting screws (B) so they protrude through the openings of the canopy (L). Secure the canopy (L) in place with cap nuts (M). For sloped ceilings, once attached to the junction box, grasp the stems firmly with both hands and gently pull toward the notches until the fixture is at the desired angle. Secure the glass shade (S) onto the socket (R) with the socket ring (T). Install the light bulb (not included) ? in accordance with the fixture's specifications. Do not exceed the recommended wattage. Your installation is now completed. Turn on the power ? and test the fixture.
Cleaning Tips
Treat the fixture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the fixture with a clean lint-free cotton or microfiber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the fixture.

Safety Warnings and Notices
⚠️ WARNING: To avoid possible electrical shock, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breakers before installing the light fixture. The lighting fixture must be grounded. If a ground wire is not present, stop installation and consult a qualified electrician. All wiring must comply with national and local electrical codes (ANSI/NFPA 70). Consult a qualified electrician if unfamiliar with wiring.
ℹ️ NOTICE: Drill 9/64" pilot holes in the support structure to aid in securing the light fixture.
ℹ️ NOTICE: To use a 12-inch rod by itself, remove the threaded post from the 6-inch rod and install it on one end of the 12-inch rod. The threaded post may also be removed for easier wire access.
Hunter Pro Tip: Twist or tape wire ends together to make it easier to pass them through the downrods.
