Product Layout
The product layout illustrates the internal and external components of the smart lock. Key external parts include the keypad, RFID scanner, fingerprint sensor, inside handle, outside handle, key cover, USB external power port, and keyhole. Internal components comprise the battery cover, battery box, data line, guide post, lock core, cylinder, and various screws. A separate diagram details the spindle and screw installation, showing the spindle passing through the door and connecting to the lock body.
Panel and Lock Body Installation Steps
- Adjust latch direction according to the door opening side.
- Install lock body and cylinder: Place the lock body into the designated hole, tighten the screw, insert the cylinder into the lock body guard hole, and then tighten the cylinder screw.
- Panel Installation:
- Change handle direction: Attach the stud and guidepost to the front panel simultaneously. Insert the spring into the square hole. Adjust the spindle and lock core as needed.
- Mount the front panel: Insert the spindle into the lock body. Route the data line from the top of the lock body into the door. Ensure the spindle and stud align with their respective holes, and the front panel sits flush against the door.
- Connect cables: Connect the main board cable to the corresponding interface on the back panel.
- Attach back panel: Position the spindle, cylinder, and snib core correctly. Secure the back panel to the door using installation screws.
- Test functionality: Check the handle and snib operation. Adjust the panel and cylinder if necessary for smooth movement.
- Install battery cover: Insert batteries and test the lock using fingerprint, RFID card, PIN code, or manual key.
Note: Please keep internal/external panels clean before installation.
Change Handle Direction
To change the handle direction, use a cross screwdriver to unscrew parts 1 and 3. Rotate the handle 180 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise, then retighten screws 1 and 3. For the back panel, follow the same procedure, ensuring the safety button is in the 'off' position.
Lock Body Change Direction
To change the lock body direction, push the latch inward, rotate the latch 180 degrees, and confirm the inside/outside orientation. Ensure screws always align with the inside panel; if reversal is needed, unscrew and screw into the other side.
