The SANA massage chair, part of the Human Touch Ascent Series, is designed for peak performance and rejuvenation. The name 'Sana' translates to health, reflecting the chair's therapeutic benefits. It features a high-performance L-track extending from neck to thighs, nine auto-programs (including Full-Body, Stretch, and Recovery), and advanced air massage technology.
The SANA chair is designed to help you revitalize physically and mentally, enabling you to perform at your peak. It aims to provide a heightened sense of confidence, motivation, and clarity.
Important Safety Instructions
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE.
DANGER: To reduce the risk of electrical shock
Always unplug this product from the electrical outlet immediately after using and before cleaning.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock or injury to persons:
- Keep hands and fingers away from the massage mechanism and rollers while the product is running to avoid injury.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent, or a qualified person.
- Never leave the appliance unattended when plugged in. Unplug when not in use and before attaching/removing parts.
- Do not operate under blankets or pillows, as excessive heating can cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
- Close supervision is required when used by, on, or near children, invalids, or disabled persons. Keep children away from foot supports.
- Use only for its intended purpose as described in this manual. Do not use unrecommended attachments.
- Never operate if the cord or plug is damaged, if it's not working properly, if dropped, or if submerged in water. Return for examination/repair.
- Do not carry by the supply cord or use the cord as a handle.
- Keep the power cord away from heated surfaces.
- Never operate with blocked air openings. Keep them free of lint, hair, etc.
- Never drop or insert objects into any opening.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not operate where aerosol products are used or oxygen is administered.
- To disconnect, turn all controls to OFF, then remove the plug.
- Do not massage swollen, inflamed, or erupted areas of the body.
- Do not use on unexplained calf pain.
- Do not use on damp floors or when in contact with plumbing or similar grounding.
- Connect only to a properly grounded outlet. See GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS.
- Do not use if abnormal noise is heard.
- Do not stand on or in the appliance; use only while seated.
- This appliance is not for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, unless supervised. Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
Safety Precautions:
- Wear comfortable clothing.
- Use in a relaxed position; never force body parts into the backrest while rollers are moving.
- If abnormal discomfort occurs, turn off power immediately and consult a physician.
- Do not sit on the controller.
- Do not pull on the AC cord.
- Before using after storage, check for proper operation.
- Always confirm there are no obstacles behind the product and sufficient space for reclining.
Grounding Instructions:
This product must be grounded. If it malfunctions, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electrical current to reduce shock risk. It is equipped with an equipment-grounding conductor and plug. Plug into an appropriate, properly installed, and grounded outlet.
DANGER: Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician if in doubt. Do not modify the plug; if it doesn't fit, have a proper outlet installed.
The product uses a normal 120-volt circuit and has a grounding plug (sketch A). Temporary adapters (sketches B & C) may be used if a properly grounded outlet is unavailable, but a qualified electrician should install one. The adapter's ground tab must connect to a permanent ground (e.g., grounded outlet box cover) and be secured by a metal screw. Temporary adapters are not permitted in Canada.

FCC Compliance:
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) it may not cause harmful interference, and (2) it must accept any interference received.
WARNING: Thermal Resetting Protection
This product has a thermal resetting protection device. If the product stops and won't restart, turn the main power switch OFF and wait at least 30 minutes before operating again. Failure to turn off may result in unexpected restart.
Getting Started
Unpack the Box
The box contains: the Chair, Power cord, Use and care manual, Spare fuses (2 x 250V, 5A), and Warranty terms.

Choose a Location
Place the unit on a flat surface, away from direct sunlight or heat sources to prevent fading.
On hard surfaces, use a carpet or soft mat (minimum 48" x 28") to protect the floor.
Ensure at least 6 inches (15 cm) of clear space in front of the chair for the footrest deployment.
Move the Chair to the Desired Location
CAUTION: To avoid injury and product damage, use two or more people.
- Push down on the backrest to tilt the front of the chair upward. WARNING: Do not lift the chair by the footrest.
- Roll the chair on its casters to the desired location.
- Gently lower the chair to the floor. WARNING: Dropping the front of the chair may damage it or the floor.

Operating Your Massage Chair
Power On
1. Plug the power cord into a grounded 120-volt outlet.
2. Turn the power switch on the rear of the chair to 'On'.
3. Secure the remote control in its pocket, then take a seat.

Adjust the Recline and Footrest Angle
Press the ON/OFF button on the remote control. Use the BACK buttons to recline the chair to your desired angle.
Use the LEGS buttons to adjust the footrest angle.
If your calves are not pressing against the rear calf massager, push your feet outward to extend the massager until they are properly positioned.
WARNING: Do not sit or stand on the calf massager to avoid injury or permanent damage to the chair.

Understanding the Status Screen and Remote
The status screen displays real-time massage information:
- SPEED: Percussion massage speed.
- CLOUD: Cloud Touch intensity.
- WIDTH: Horizontal massage range (Tap Touch, Percussion, Rolling).
- FOOT: Underfoot roller speed.
- Massage Areas: An illustration shows the areas currently being massaged.
- Time Remaining: Displays the time left in the current session.
- Heat Indicator: Red icon indicates heat is on.
- Bluetooth Indicator: An asterisk (*) indicates Bluetooth is active.
Remote Control Functions:
- On/Off: Powers the remote on/off and returns the chair to the upright position.
- Menu: Accesses the main menu. Use arrow buttons to navigate and press to select.
- Legs: Press and hold to raise or lower the footrest.
- Back: Press and hold to recline or incline the backrest.
- ZeroG®: Automatically positions the chair in Zero Gravity mode for maximum spine relief.
- Position Buttons: Used to move massage rollers to a specific zone or spot in manual modes.
- Heat: Toggles backrest heat on/off (indicated by a red icon).
Note: The controller display automatically shuts down after three minutes of inactivity. Press On/Off to resume.

Using Auto Programs
Choose from 9 automatic programs or create your own manual massage. You can also control Cloud Touch air massage focus and intensity, and turn on heat. Connect a smartphone/tablet to the chair's speaker system.
To use Auto Programs:
- From the main menu, select AUTO.
- Select your desired program.
- Set the shoulder height (1-9) on the 'Set Shoulder Height' screen. The massage will map to this height.
- Sit back and enjoy.
Auto Program Descriptions:
- TENSION RELIEF: Focuses on neck and shoulder tension.
- PERFORMANCE: Intense Cloud Touch air massage.
- ENERGIZE: Invigorates for the day.
- RECOVERY: Moves from neck/shoulders to glutes/thighs.
- STRETCH: Soothes and stretches from head to toe.
- FULL BODY: Complete body massage experience.
- UPPER BODY: Focuses on the upper body.
- LOWER BODY: Focuses on the lower body.
- DEMO: A five-minute overview of chair functions.
Note: You can access 'Set Shoulder Height' during any massage by pressing a Position button.

Using Manual Massage Modes
Customize your massage by selecting Mode, Focus, Width, Percussion Speed, Foot SPD, and Calf Roll.
Manual Mode Options:

Configuring Cloud Touch, Heat, and Other Settings
Cloud Touch Focus and Intensity
Select one or more Cloud Touch air massage areas and set intensity. Can be used independently or during auto programs.
Navigate: Menu -> CLOUD TCH -> FOCUS (select areas) -> INTENSITY (select level or OFF).

Backrest Heat
Default is OFF. To activate, press HEAT button or select HEAT from menu and choose ON.

Massage Duration
Set duration to 10 (default), 20, or 30 minutes.
Navigate: Menu -> SETTINGS -> TIME (select duration).

Language Selection
Interface text can be displayed in English or Mandarin Chinese.
Navigate: Menu -> SETTINGS -> LANGUAGE (select desired language).
To return to English from Chinese: Power cycle chair, select last menu option for Settings, select middle option to show languages, select EN.

Connecting to Speaker System
The chair has a built-in Bluetooth speaker system. Default is ON.
Navigate: Menu -> SETTINGS -> BLUETOOTH. Ensure it's ON.
On your device, scan for Bluetooth devices, select 'SANA' (serial number) to connect.

Foot Massage Adjustment
If the foot massage is too soft, remove the 'softening soles' from the foot/calf massage wells. Open zippers, remove soles, close zippers.

Care and Maintenance
Cleaning Guidelines
WARNING: Disconnect power cord before cleaning.
Use a dry cloth only for the controller and power switch. Never use a damp cloth.
Test cleaning solutions on an inconspicuous area first to ensure colorfastness.
Do not use benzene, thinner, or solvents.
Cleaning Code Standard: W
Dust frequently or vacuum with a soft brush. Use water-based upholstery cleaners. For stains, use upholstery shampoo or mild detergent foam. For foot/calf inserts, remove, hand-wash with mild detergent, and line dry.
Maintenance and Repair
The chair's mechanics are designed to be maintenance-free. No periodic lubrication or servicing is required.
Servicing should only be performed by an authorized service center.
Use and Storage Environment
For long periods of non-use, cover the chair, coil the power cord, and store in a dust- and moisture-free environment.
Do not store near heat or open flame.
Avoid prolonged direct sunlight exposure, which can cause fading or damage.
Avoid extreme temperatures. Products stored in cold may need 48 hours at room temperature to function properly.
Use and store in an environment with 10-80% non-condensing humidity. Excessive humidity can damage mechanics.
Miscellaneous:
Do not insert foreign objects between massage nodes or housing.
Do not overload the unit.
