1.2 General Safety Instructions
- Stand up paddling is a sport that brings dangers with it. The user must be aware that carelessness can result in hazards ranging from injury to death. Please be sure to observe the local safety regulations.
- Practice handling in safe places that are easily accessible for help in an emergency.
- Be aware of weather conditions or changes.
- Always carry a safety line attached to the board.
- Wear a life jacket that meets current safety standards.
- Find out about local navigation conditions and regulations.
- Inform yourself about the conditions of the waters before use.
- Make sure that your equipment functions perfectly.
- Do not transport children on the paddle board.
- Always paddle together with others.
- Do not paddle in extremely strong winds, such as offshore wind.
- Know your own skills and limitations.
- Do not use this product under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Use the SUP Board alone; it is designed for one person only.
- Do not make any structural changes to the SUP Board as this may compromise safety.
2. Assembly and Use
2.1 Mounting the Air Pump
Images show the process of connecting the air pump hose to the SUP board valve. The first image shows the connection piece being attached to the pump and hose, with the pressure gauge facing upwards. The second image illustrates inserting the hose into the black end piece of the pump. The third image shows the red end of the pump hose being connected to the SUP board's valve, with a click and hiss indicating a secure connection.
- At the beginning, prepare the air pump for start-up. Install the connection piece between the pump and the hose. Make sure that the connection for the pressure gauge is facing upwards and that the piece is on the "Inflate" side.
- Snap the connector into place.
- Turn in the pressure indicator firmly, otherwise the pump will not function properly.
- Insert the hose into the device at the black end piece and let it snap into place. The pump is now ready for use.
- To connect the board to the air pump, first unscrew the cap. Connect the red end piece of the pump hose to the connection on the surfboard. The hose sits correctly when there is a clicking noise and a soft hissing sound. You can start to inflate.
To deflate the air more quickly, push the hose to the "Deflate" side and pump the air out. If you disconnect the hose from the air pump, the deflated air will flow out of your SUP Board automatically but more slowly. After use and before storing, dry the board with a towel or soft cloth. It is important that the board is completely dry before storage, otherwise mould can build.
2.2 Fin Assembly
Images illustrate the fin assembly. The first image shows a hand holding the fin, ready to be inserted into the fin box on the underside of the SUP board. The second image shows the fin being slid into the holder and secured with a small locking pin.
- The fin is attached by means of a plug-in system. Slide the fin into the holder provided. Then secure with the locking pin.
2.3 Mounting the Paddle
Images show the two parts of the paddle being joined together. A hand is shown pushing the two sections into each other, and then securing the joint with a black safety lock.
- The paddle is assembled by simply plugging the two end parts together.
- Stabilize the joint by closing it with the safety lock.
2.4 Paddling with the SUP Board
- If you stand comfortably, place your feet about shoulder-wide apart. Bend your knees slightly, pull your shoulders back and look straight ahead.
- Stand in the middle of the board.
- Place your "strong" hand at the top of the handle and grasp the paddle with your second hand about 60 cm further down. Paddle with a comfortable forward motion, with slightly flexed arms.
- Push the complete paddle blade into the water before you displace the water.
- Move your weight to the right if you want to turn left and vice versa.
3. Hints and Precautions
3.1 Tips for Inflating
- Inflate the board 24 hours before first use.
- After 2 to 3 days, the air pressure may drop; in which case the product must be inflated again.
- Do not inflate the board too much; inflation at more than the required pressure will worsen the product (never more than 15 psi).
- If you intend to expose the board to direct sunlight, reduce the air pressure slightly. Remember, however, to inflate the board before use and restore optimum pressure.
- Note: Heat increases the pressure inside the board. When it is cold, however, the pressure decreases.
3.2 Detecting an Air Loss
Through the Valve:
- If your board loses air, regardless of external factors such as cold, check the valve first. We recommend water and soap for testing. Paint the edges of the valve with soap and water. If air bubbles form, retighten the valve. If the problem persists, please contact our service centre.
Through a Leak:
- If the valve is OK, you may have a crack/leak. To locate the holes, go through the same procedure as for testing the valve. Mark the spot(s) with a pencil. If you do not find the spot, inflate the board and listen for any loss of air. You can now repair the cracks with a repair kit or glue. If the leak is larger than 3 mm, use a patch to cover it. After gluing, apply a weight to the patch and let it dry for several hours so that the glue hardens and the patch sits securely.

5. Care and Maintenance
- To ensure the material flexibility and color of your SUP-Board, store it in a place protected from the weather and sunlight.
- Allow the board to dry completely before storage to prevent mold growth.
- Do not use harsh chemicals for cleaning. Clean with mild soap and fresh water.
- Store in a dry and clean place.
- It is not recommended to store the board hanging.
- Avoid storage locations with extreme heat.
6. Installation Instructions and Troubleshooting
How can I inflate the SUP-Board faster?
- Fix the hand pump firmly to the floor with both feet.
- For a better grip, choose a solid surface (no sand or grass).
- Always use the entire pump stroke of the piston to bring more air into the board with a single pump stroke.
- Press handles down with both hands and use your own body weight to apply more force.
- Not only work from the arms, but also shift the weight of the entire upper body downwards.
Why does air escape from the valve?
- Incorrect valve adjustment (see above).
- The valve key has come loose and must be tightened again.
Does the board always have to be inflated to the maximum pressure?
- Basically, it can be said that a high pressure has a positive effect, because the board bends less in the water.
- Persons with a rather low own weight do not necessarily have to pump up the maximum pressure.
7. Disposal Instructions
7.1 Disposal of the Packaging
- Please refer to the guidelines and standards for appropriate disposal of the packaging valid in your region. In part, the package may consist of plastic bags - watch this respect, with special care to ensure that this is not out of the reach of children. There is a risk of suffocation!
7.2 Disposal of Old Equipment
- Old equipment must be disposed of in accordance with the guidelines and regulations of the local waste disposal department.
- At the end of the long life of your article, please dispose of the valuable raw materials for proper disposal so that proper recycling can take place. If you are not sure how to proceed, the local waste disposal companies or recycling centers are happy to help.
