Setting Face Recognition
Follow these steps to set up face recognition on your IP PTZ camera.
Step 1: Install Plugin and Log In
Open an Internet Explorer (IE) browser. Enter the camera's IP address and install the necessary plugin to log in to the camera's web interface.
Step 2: Access AI Functions
Once logged in, click on the icon representing 'AI' to access the Artificial Intelligence functions.
Step 3: Select Face Detection
Navigate to and select the 'Face Detection' option to proceed with the configuration.
Step 4: Configure Face Detection Settings
Click on 'Face Detection'. The icon next to the image preview allows you to adjust detection parameters such as size and scope. Click 'Enable' to activate facial enhancement and then click 'Apply' to save your settings.
Configuration Options:
- Enable: Toggle to activate face detection.
- Face Enhancement: Toggle to enable or disable facial enhancement.
- Face Cutout: Select the desired photo format (e.g., 'One-inch Photo').
- Snapshot Mode: Choose the snapshot mode (e.g., 'Optimized').
- Property: A toggle for general property settings.
- Time Plan: Set a schedule for when face detection should be active ('Full Time' or 'Add Schedule').
- Event Linkage: Configure linked events.
- Snapshot: Indicates if snapshots are enabled.
Step 5: Select Face Mode on Live Screen
Navigate to the 'Live' screen and select 'Face Mode' to view the camera feed with face detection active.
