SETTING UP YOUR PROJECTOR
Projector Installation Options
Depending on how you positioned the projector, you may need to change the projected image orientation. Go to Menu > OPTION > Projection Mode to set up the projection modes. There are four installation options available:
- Front Table: The projector is placed in front of the wall/screen, and the image is projected directly to the wall/screen.
- Rear Table: The projector is placed behind a compatible screen which supports rear projection.
- Rear Ceiling: The projector is placed behind the screen with the lens upside down. A compatible screen for rear projection is required. This mode flips the image over.
- Front Ceiling: The projector is mounted from a ceiling or wall, flipping the image over top-to-bottom to project upside-down.
Note: Wherever you set up the projector, make sure to position it squarely in front of the center of the screen or the wall, not at an angle, if possible.
Projection Distance and Size
The distance between the projector and the screen determines the approximate size of the image. The projection size increases as the projector moves farther from the screen. Adjust the focus ring and keystone manually for optimal image performance.
Screen Size vs. Projection Distance:
- At 3.94ft (1.2m), the screen size is approximately 37 inches.
- At 6.56ft (2m), the screen size is approximately 60 inches.
- At 9.84ft (3m), the screen size is approximately 90 inches.
- At 12.47ft (3.8m), the screen size is approximately 120 inches.
- At 18.04ft (5.5m), the screen size is approximately 170 inches.
