- Dolby sound may not be supported; try exiting and replaying.
- The audio format might not be supported by the projector.
- VGA connections transmit analog video only; an external speaker is required.
- Videos might have encryption applied by the player or source. Try different videos.
- If none of the above, try a different HDMI cable, external speaker, or a 2.0 USB disk/Micro SD card (up to 32GB) / USB hard disk (up to 1TB) to check if audio is available.
-
Why is the audio available but without display?
- The video format might not be supported.
- Encryption might be applied to the video or media player.
- If the lamp is off but audio plays, the lamp may be defective. Contact the seller for replacement.
- Try another HDMI cable if using an HD input source.
-
Why does the projection screen show "No Signal"?
- Ensure all cables are plugged in correctly and firmly.
- Verify that the correct input source is selected (e.g., USB for a USB drive).
- Note: USB 2.0 disks are supported. USB 3.0 connections may result in "No Signal".
-
How can I fix a blurry or out-of-shape image?
- Adjust the focus and keystone rings by moving them leftward/rightward until the image is clear.
- Place the projector on a flat, stable surface (horizontally or vertically). Inclination can cause blurriness or uneven colors.
- A darker environment is recommended for optimal performance.
- Ensure the projection distance is between 1.16m-5m (37-150 inches).
- Use a clean, white wall or screen for projection.
-
How can I fix an upside-down image?
- Navigate to Menu > Picture > Projection Mode to flip the image orientation.
-

-
How should I handle expanding dark spots or smoke when using the projector?
- Check if the fan noise has increased or if the fan has stopped working. Unplug the projector and contact Vankyo Support Team.
- Ensure the power outlet and projector power adapter are not wet or humid, as this can cause sparks or smoke.
-
Why does the projector shut off during playback?
- Verify the power plug is securely inserted into the outlet.
- If the LED indicator is lit but the fan is not working, contact Vankyo Support Team.
- Overheating can activate the projector's built-in power-off protection. Restart the projector once it cools down.
- Connecting a 1TB or larger USB disk without external power can cause shutdown. Ensure the disk is connected when the projector is off or use an external power supply for the disk.
-
Can this projector support 3D effect?
The projector supports 3D video sources and can achieve 3D viewing with Red-Blue 3D Glasses. However, the experience may not match a theater and is not recommended for users with high expectations for 3D performance.
-
Why doesn't anything work in the main interface, especially with external storage connected?
Ensure the correct input source is selected when using a USB disk or SD card. Otherwise, "No Signal" will be displayed.
-
Why doesn't the projector's lamp light up or power on?
Please contact Vankyo for assistance.
-
How can I change the language?
