Installation Instructions
Ceiling Mounting (Standard Applications)
The luminaire can be mounted on the ceiling using the provided mounting bracket. Ensure the bracket is securely attached to the ceiling surface. The luminaire then attaches to the bracket.
Wall Mounting
For wall mounting in vertical or horizontal positions, special sets of screws and nuts (e.g., WT470Z SCREW VP SET) may be required. Refer to specific mounting instructions for details.
Wiring and Connections
The luminaire features a connector system for power input and output. Ensure correct wiring according to the diagrams provided, paying attention to phase (L1, L2, L3), neutral (N), and earth (⏚) connections. Cable entry is typically through an M20 or M25 gland, accommodating cables with diameters from 7 mm to 14 mm or 17 mm.
Various wiring configurations are shown for different driver types (PSU, SIA, SEIA) and model variants (e.g., WT490C/WT495C TW3, WT490C/WT495C TCW5, WT490C W5, WT490C W5-TW).
Connector Details:
- Female Connector: L1, L2, L3, N, ⏚
- Male Connector: L1, L2, L3, N, ⏚
- For TW versions with DA/N and DA/Ls: Female connector: DA/N, DA/Ls, N, L, ⏚; Male connector: DA/N, DA/Ls, N, L, ⏚
Ensure proper cable strain relief and secure connection of wires.

Maintenance Instructions
- Do not touch electronic components; they are under high voltage and ESD sensitive.
- Use static-free gloves to avoid marks on the luminaire during installation or maintenance.
- For cleaning:
- Dust: Use micro fiber cloths.
- Fingerprints, etc.: Use a cleaner for synthetic materials with antistatic properties.
- Do not stare into the LED light beam.
- Remove protective foil after installation to avoid scratches and dirt on optical parts.
- The luminaire must be installed and wired by a qualified electrician according to current regulations.
- Do not touch LEDs or connector contacts.
- Install optical plates carefully to protect the boards.
- Driver insulation is basic according to IEC 61847-1.
Important Note: The light source, control gear, and external flexible cable in this luminaire should only be replaced by the manufacturer, their service agent, or a similarly qualified person.
Emergency Lighting
For emergency lighting applications, a DC power connection (186-250 V DC) is required for PSED and SEIA versions.
Product Warranty and Lifecycle
Storage, installation, use, operation, and maintenance must be performed exactly according to the instructions in this manual and any other provided instructions to guarantee safe use over the product's entire lifetime. Failure to adhere to these instructions will invalidate your warranty entitlement. Bolts with indicated torque values must be tightened using a calibrated torque wrench. Pre-assembled bolts need to be retightened to the required torque specification for maximum strength.
Energy Efficiency Class: The energy efficiency class of the light source is indicated in the table or on the label.
Service and Support
