Pattern System Overview
This section details the pattern system for connecting multiple luminaires.
End assembly: Requires one kit for a capped end. [Diagram showing end assembly components]
Joint assembly: Requires one kit for each joint. Example shown is a bi-joint connection. [Diagram showing joint assembly components]
Maximum 10 luminaires are allowed for one single electrical circuit.
Installation Steps
- Prepare luminaires: Arrange luminaires on the floor and remove them from boxes. If the environment is dusty, keep fixtures in their plastic bags until ready for wiring. It is important to handle light guides with clean gloves. [Diagram illustrating luminaire preparation]
- Remove Top Cap: Remove the top cap of the luminaire. [Diagram showing top cap removal]
- Set joint angles: Adjust the joint angles to the desired position. Ensure each joint is rotated by the same amount to form the correct angle. [Diagram illustrating joint angle adjustment]
- Attach joints to starting module: Connect the joints to the starting module, ensuring alignment. Feed the joint wire into the luminaire and secure with screws. Do not over-tighten. [Diagram showing joint attachment to starting module]
- Mount remaining joints to gripper: Insert aircraft cable through the joints and mount them in appropriate locations. Mount the joints by feeding the aircraft cable through the gripper at the ceiling. Ensure all joints are at roughly the same height for initial leveling. Grippers should be mounted on ceiling through screws. [Diagram showing joint mounting to gripper]
- Mount starting module: Mount the starting module to the grippers at the same level as the previously mounted joints. [Diagram showing starting module mounting]
- Connect next luminaire: Attach the next module on both sides. Feed joint wires into the fixture and secure with the provided screw. [Diagram showing connection of the next luminaire]
- Mount ends (if applicable): For patterns with end of run modules, insert aircraft cable into the diecast cross plate. With two people, mount to the ceiling gripper. [Diagram showing end mounting]
- Complete electrical connection (in run): This step involves completing the electrical connections for luminaires connected in series. [Diagram showing in-run electrical connection]
- Complete electrical connection (power drop): This step details the electrical connection for the power drop. Ensure the cable is inserted through the gland nut and fixed. Pull out the cable from the lateral side, hold the stripped end, and insert it into the luminaire. Complete the electrical connection and tighten the gland nut. Note: For DALI versions, connections are required at both ends for power supply and signal supply. [Diagram showing power drop electrical connection]
- Close with End Cap: Push the end cap into position and tighten the screw. End caps are required for the first and last luminaires of each electrical circuit. [Diagram showing end cap installation]
- Secure Top Cap: Secure the top cap. [Diagram showing top cap securing]
- Remove Protection Film: Remove the protective film. [Diagram showing protection film removal]
- Leveling and Cleanup: Level the row of luminaires by making adjustments at the gripper. Wipe the light guide panel clean if necessary, ensuring not to cause scratches. [Diagram showing leveling and cleaning]

Important Safety Information and Regulations
- The luminaire must be installed by a qualified electrician and wired according to the latest electrical regulations or national requirements.
- Switch off the power supply before replacing the product or making connections.
- Do not place flammable materials near the luminaire.
- In case of operation failure, switch off the power and contact your dealer.
- Avoid corrosive atmospheres or hazardous materials (sulfur, chlorine, phthalate, etc.) during use and storage.
- Basic insulation should be provided between LV supply and control conductors.
- The control gear and external flexible cable must only be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent, or a similarly qualified person.
- The light source must only be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent, or a similarly qualified person.
- For indoor use only.
- The luminaire must be grounded before use and must remain grounded during operation.
- The manufacturer is not responsible for improper usage or modifications.
- The product is IPX0 and not protected against water ingress. Ensure the installation environment is suitable. Water ingress will void the warranty and may cause electrical failure or safety incidents.
