Log in to your network

Under the Network tab, you can see your network. Choose a network to view and control all of your devices.

If you cannot access your network or do not see it in the app, please refer to your handover information or contact the installer.

Easy Dimming

Traditional Dimming

Dim lights quickly and easily by placing your finger on the light source or group you wish to dim. Move your finger horizontally to display the fast dimming controls.

Dimming of Colour Temperature

If your light fittings support colour temperature, you can easily adjust between warm and cold light. To do this, place your finger on your selected light source or group and move your finger up and down vertically.

Settings

Your installer may have added their own email address during installation. You can change it to your own email address by following the steps below.

Note: Advanced lighting control settings are found in this part of the app. Be careful when making changes. Contact your installer if you are unsure.

Change Email and Password

1. Choose your Network.
2. Press "More". (The menu may look different depending on whether your device is Android or iOS).
3. Press "Network setup". If the setting is password protected, contact your installer!
4. Press "Sharing settings".
5. Press on "Email" and "Password" to change the information.

Admin vs. Regular Visitors

You can set up a visitor-only account. For example, children or guests may not be able to access all settings in the app, but should still be able to turn lights on and off.

Create a Scene

A scene is a predefined light setting that activates one or more lights simultaneously. Different scenes make it easy to switch between different lighting modes.

Useful scenes include "snooze lighting" (gradual light increase in the morning) and "cosy lighting" (lights dimmed to 50% for movie nights).

For tasks like cleaning, a full brightness mode is preferable. If your dimmer supports light temperatures, cold light is often preferred.

Casambi allows for extensive variation, with up to 250 scenes possible in a single network.

1. Choose your Network.
2. Press "Add scene".
3. Name your scene and press "Add scene".
4. Add light sources and dimming levels to your scene from the menu.

Gallery Function

The gallery function allows you to take photos of your home environment. Set out where your light sources and dimmers are located. Control the lighting easily and visually by clicking on the image.

Astro-clock and Time Functions

Automate your lighting with Astro-clock and time functions. Schedule lighting to follow the rising and setting of the sun, or to switch on/off at specified times.

1. Press "More".
2. Press on "Timers".
3. Select "Edit".
4. Press the plus sign [+].
5. Select "Switches ON" and set Time or Sunrise/Sunset, and the days for the settings.
6. Select "Switches OFF" and set Day/Time/Sunrise/Sunset for when the function should be off.

Choose the scene to which your time functions should apply.

The Gateway Function

The gateway function is practical for individuals who want to remotely control lights at home from their workplace, or to activate a scenario simulating occupancy.

You can use a smart device, like a tablet, placed at home to control light sources remotely. The device must be connected to the internet.

1. Press "More".
2. Press "Gateways".
3. Select "Gateway".
4. Activate Gateway.

The gateway functionality enables remote access to your network via the cloud using the gateway-enabled device.
