Casambi App Quick Start Guide

Introduction

This guide provides simple instructions for using the free Casambi App to switch, dim, and control lights or other Casambi-compatible devices.

1. Download & Installation of the CASAMBI APP

2. CASAMBI - Integrate lights / devices into the network

After installation, the app automatically detects all compatible products within Bluetooth range. By clicking "Take all luminaires into use", all these luminaires are added to a network, and a new tab with products opens. All lights will then be available for individual or group control.

3. CASAMBI - Control lights / devices via APP

"Scenes": Adapt light scenes. One click allows control of multiple lights. A luminaire can be used in several scenes.

"Timer function": Time-based switching of scenes and animations on and off.

"Gallery": Switch and control lights using a photo of the lighting system.

Information: Unpairing Devices

To disconnect a Casambi device from a network, follow these steps:

1. If the user has change rights for the network, tap the desired unit on the "Lamps" or "Nearby devices" tab and select the "Unpairing Lamp" option.
2. If the user does not have change rights, access the lamp's power switch. After tapping "Lamp unpairing", the app shows an "unpaired" screen. Tap "Start", then quickly turn the power switch off and on again to disconnect the lamp. A success message will appear if the unpairing was successful.
3. With a Casambi account and the Casambi utility app, administrative decoupling is possible (Internet access required).
